Ugh - i hate hearing that... makes me sad. I did put a link for base ten from amazon in the description box. You can also buy on the dollar tree website, you have to buy more than one.... but it is an option. For the poker chips, the same activity can be done with paper circles... or even buttons!

I'm in Michigan (about 20 miles from Lansing) and I just purchased the base 10 pieces. I got excited, cause I didn't know they carried those!
