    Thanks for these new busy bag ideas! I put together a bunch when my daughter was 2 because of your channel. I used the metal rings to keep like-minded bags together (letters, numbers, shapes, etc), and she could easily access them in our living room. Now that she's 4 and about to start Pre-K, I'm way overdue to update them with new skills. Thanks for all the ideas!

    I went back and watched the other busy bag video first since I have a toddler and I just wanted to tell you that you’ve really grown with your production skills on your channel. Awesome! ☺️

    I have just discovered your channel recently, looking at phonics learning. I have a 21 month old who is obsessed with the alphabet and baby due this fall. I love your affordable approach to Montessori. I like the Montessori ideas but so often it feels overwhelming to need all these really expensive materials. I love the balance and sensible approach here. Thanks!

    Thank you for sharing your Busy Bags for older kids. I feel like when the children get older it gets a bit more difficult. I like that Busy Bags can be used within Kids Play Trays too so it's very versatile.

      It is harder when they are older, but it can be done! And yes! Love your idea with play trays!

    I was given a Tell Me a Story game similar to the story dice, but the pictures are on rocks instead of dice. While the dice can hold more images to write about, I like the rock idea as it is free except for paint for the pictures on the rocks

    Do your kids willingly go to these or do you tell them to do them? Is it like a set time or a “I’m bored” activity.

    • @ThePurpleAlphabet
      @ThePurpleAlphabet  5 років тому +1

      At first, I worked with them on it since they were really young and needed instruction. Plus, they were only to be used with supervision because of small parts. Now they know what they are and request to do them or go and pull them out themselves. They are in my learning closet, so they aren't always available, but they often ask. Otherwise, if there is a skill I want to work on, I'll bring it out and work with them.

      @@ThePurpleAlphabet ok thank you. I saw some from curious minds I think (I think on Etsy) I was hoping to find some free ones but I might just buy them. I love the content you put out. I feel like my daughter is behind on a lot of things. She's 5 & has a hard time retaining information. So I've been looking for content to see what I can do to help. She's reluctant to learning letter and number recognition and I'm not sure exactly why or if I'm doing something wrong. She was late on a lot of things due to being born prematurely now I feel like we're playing catch up because I didn't do enough in the beginning. IDK. But your videos inspire me to do better!!

    • @ThePurpleAlphabet
      @ThePurpleAlphabet  5 років тому +1

      i went to etsy and looked at that shop and I think that's where I got it! You could also make your own too, super easy one to make! I don't think you are doing anything wrong, she is working at her own pace. Keep on doing what you are doing, repetition will work over time. You're doing great!

      It really depends on the child. I started around 18 months with some simple activities, but my I felt my kids were ready for them.
