Hey there, job seekers! Brianna Rooney here, your go-to Millionaire Recruiter. If you're tired of sending out resumes and hearing crickets in return, this video is for you. Today, I'm spilling all the secrets on how to format your resume to pass through those pesky applicant tracking systems (ATS) and land in front of human eyes.
In this episode of The Millionaire Recruiter, I'm dishing out some serious resume wisdom. Because let's face it, your resume is your ticket to that dream job, and we're not about to let a bot stand in the way!
First things first - simplicity is key. Say goodbye to tables, graphics, and fancy formatting. Stick to a clean, easy-to-read layout that won't confuse the bots. And trust me, PDF is your new best friend.
But it's not just about looks - it's about content too. We're talking bullet points, clear categories (think experience, skills, certifications), and keywords galore. If you want to catch the bot's attention, you need to speak its language.
And speaking of keywords, don't sleep on optimization. Your resume should be a keyword goldmine, packed with the skills and qualifications that recruiters are searching for. Think of it like a secret code - crack it, and you'll unlock endless job opportunities.
But enough about me - I want to hear from you! Are you struggling to get your resume noticed? Have you ever felt like your resume was lost in the abyss of ATS? Share your experiences in the comments below, and let's tackle this challenge together.
And hey, if you found this video helpful, don't forget to like, subscribe, and hit that notification bell. I'll be dropping more resume tips and career advice every week, so stay tuned!
Remember, your dream job is just a resume away. Let's make it happen! 💼✨

@@TheMillionaireRecruiter I think you've covered the main things but maybe just a couple of additional things to add:
      - Stick to standard fonts like Arial, Tahoma, or Calibri. Use font sizes between 10 and 12 for the body text. Avoid using headers, footers, and special characters that can confuse ATS.
      - While it's important to use keywords from the job description, make sure they fit naturally within the context of your resume. Avoid keyword stuffing, which can be obvious and off-putting to human readers.
      - Start your bullet points with strong action verbs like "managed," "developed," "implemented," "led," and "created." This not only helps with ATS but also makes your accomplishments more compelling to recruiters.
      - Have a dedicated section for skills, and include both hard and soft skills relevant to the job you're applying for. Make sure these skills are also reflected in your work experience to provide context.
Use numbers, percentages, and metrics to quantify your accomplishments. For example, "Increased sales by 20%" or "Managed a team of 15." This adds weight to your achievements and is often favored by both ATS and recruiters.
