- Ever since the pandemic everyone is working from home. I decided to purchase one of the Flexispot 55 x 28 Inches Electric Stand Up Desk Workstation from Amazon to save my back! Comments have suggested that this desk would take about an hour and a half to set up but I finished it in under that. I must tell you this desk is pretty heavy (as all adjustable standing desks are) but the quality is solid.
This one has two buttons which is simple enough to use. There are other types with memory preset heights and dual motors.

I noticed you skipped bolting down the two center screws for the support beam. was that intentional?
Ah thank you for your question! I did not find any pilot holes (and included screws) on the included table top where I could put those center screws. I assume this was optional, it's holding up so far though! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

According to Amazon, the item weighs 90 lbs, it comes in two boxes. The frame weighs more than the tabletop, but I was able to move the packed boxes around just fine. The table can withstand 154 lbs. Hope this helps!
Did it come with screwdriver? how tall are you and what height do you set it for sitting and for standing? any neck pain?
No screwdriver, only hex keys. I set it to a comfortable height for me, it would be different for each person. No neck or back pain!
RE: Widening of the cross beam section> You say to measure the crossbar to the max to 55". How are you measuring this? The end of the cross beam from end to end or the desk frame end to end? Is there a mark where I know to stop? Indentation or spot where I know to tighten the screws? Not even sure why they didn't just make the cross beam at the right length to avoid this confusion.
Hey Togo, thanks for watching. Yes, there is a mark where it indicates the right length. Flexispot makes a few different sized tables and may use the same crossbar for all of them. Hope this helps!
They marked the wrong spot for me and they forget two screws for the crossbar. Ugh….
