Gorgeous looking bike! Sounds amazing as well. I just bought me a 1975 CB550 and sooooooooo geeked about it.
I have a 75' CB360 just sitting in my garage waiting to be ridden. I have to rewire it, get a battery, tires, brakes, new brake res, and maybe shocks. I think I'll start on it today.

Alex Persaud I recently bought myself a 1987 Virago 535, these bikes are literally bullet proof. Very easy to work on, just don't be shy of the electronics/ wiring. Yamaha Loves there gadgets!

just curious what the top speed is? will this keto up with traffic on the hwy or am I better off with a 750?
I have an 82 550 and it will for sure keep up with traffic on the highway. Its no modern motorcycle, so dont expect to be able to pass anyone on the highway. But she will hold her own.
The tank looks great. Did the new rectifier/regulator charge the battery now?

Idles so smooth, listen my 600 yamaha on my channel......sounds like a fcking tracktor......going to make 4/2/1 exhaust if the sound gets smoother..... BTW when the exhaust wrap video is coming or have you put your time in other things

Why did you put that tape cross on headlight? Does it serve some purpose or is it just for looks?
+Mr Penetrator back in time people used to put tape on the headlights so in a case of a crash parts of glass would stick togheter makining the whole thing less dangerous,
