      rawrawrbaby j. It's meant to be a make ahead recipe. So you can do it on say, a sunday afternoon, and make about four of these for the next four mornings (don't make too many more because yoghurt could go bad after about 5 to 6 days depending on the kind of refrigeration you have)

      harkendoich2 not my point. My point is, if you had the time to make that all the night before I'm sure you are able to get up 10 mins earlier to cook a egg or eat an apple .instead of taking 30mins of your time making this. Which one seem easier and more affection

    There is nothing wrong with carbohydrates. Carbohydrates are good especially for breakfast. A person that can walk and do daily tasks will burn off more than enough calories just by doing nothing but normal things. Why are some people so "health conscious" without really know the exact facts?

    • @BrownBrotha
      @BrownBrotha 10 років тому +4

      Because having too much carbs eventually turns to fat. Eating an excess amount of carbs in your diet is bad because majority of people dont know how much carbs they can have a day without going over. There are so many little things that will pile up to your carb count and if you dont keep track, you will be eating more than your suppose to which in return turns into fat. But this parfait she made is pretty healthy because its perfectly balanced with the right amount of granola. fruit and greek yogurt. One tip would be to go easy with the honey. That has a lot of carbs and sugar.

    • @EnteIexia
      @EnteIexia 6 років тому

      Complex carbs are okay and healthy like fruits. But carbs like brown/white sugar and honey, not so much. You need to consume these added sugar in very small moderation. Like less than 1 tsp a day. There's link to sugar and obesity and other health problems like mental health. Why is complex carbs like fruit okay? Because they usually have other nutrients like fiber which helps digest the food well. Look it up.

    Which is the difference between greek yogurt and regular yogurt?

    • @rscitta
      @rscitta 7 років тому +3

      Greek yogurt has more protein and is thicker in texture

    • @EnteIexia
      @EnteIexia 6 років тому

      Greek yogurt is yogurt that has been strained. Hence why it's thicker. It's usually has a stronger taste as well.
      I learned to make my own yogurt and to make greek yogurt all you need is a cheese cloth then put in some plain yogurt, let the yogurt strain (liquid drained) in order for it to become greek yogurt.

    i got a better idea. a bowl of cheerios, cut up bananas and milk. done. a whole lot less sugar, even more so if you get cheerios with no sugar added.
    don't want something too sweet. adds honey adds brown sugar, tops it off with honey. not to mention all that fruit has natural sugars in it.
    oh i also liked the silent nod to veganism, and yes i said veganism. vegetarians are hypocrite. you don't want to eat meat, but have no problem eating egg that comes from said animal.
