- Forget the Ice cream Machine! I made homemade ice cream using a ziploc bag in 5 minutes. You don't need fridge or ice cream machine. This is instant ice cream using common things you can find in your house.
INGREDIENTS
1 cup whole Milk
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
Items used to make the ice cream
2 Ziploc bags
4 cups Ice
1/4 cup salt
kitchen towel

I recall doing this similar "create-ice-cream-in-a-ziploc-bag" craft/cooking activity, during the summer of 2002 (age 11) ... Despite the camp counselor's obvious attitude for their paycheck (in other words, they were mostly full of rudeness and favoritism), I actually had fun "summer camp 2002" memories, with such an activity ... 🤩😍🤩
Do you know if it will still turn into ice cream even if I don’t add the heavy cream?
@@alondraa653 maybe it is a very inexpensive project so you could try it probably won't be as creamy

So I work with Elementary school children at a daycare and we just did this today. They shook it for over 20+ minutes and we couldn’t get it to go solid 😢 They still drank it cause it was very delicious and chilled, but it was more like whipped cream than ice cream. We followed the recipe exactly, so I truly don’t know what went wrong, but I digress. They still had a blast and loved doing it, so 10/10 recommend!
maybe not enough salt?
Your ice to salt ratio must of been off.. next time!
Yes, you need quite alot salt. When you get it, it is delicious
Also make sure you use crushed ice. Crushed has more surface area and will freeze ice cream more efficiently.
Sam experience followed directions. This recipe doesn't work.

Love this video and recipe 🩷! Made it twice already, once with almond milk and again with the whole milk! Great both times. It wasn’t as firm as this video after 5 minutes of shaking, but putting it in the freezer for a few hours did the trick 👍🏿! Thanks again for sharing 🤗😋🥰!

Yes real good
1 cup of whole milk
1 cup of heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
-grab a ziploc bag and pour the ice cream mixture in it
-close the bag and set it aside
-grab another ziploc bag and pour some ice
next add some salt 1/4 cup in the ice.
place rhe ice cream mixture onto the ice.
start shaking the bag
4 cups of ice

This is so awesome! I can't wait to try it. I have one question. Can I use another sweetener like monk fruit, erythritol, stevia? And will it sill get that consistency if I use 2% milk and no cream? Guys I found the best trick, put it in a drawstring bag and add a small towel inside. Then just put it in the dryer and set it to air dry and wait 5-10 minutes and it’s done

I did a half cup half and half cup half of milk. 2 tbs of sugar, and some chocolate syrup. I did all of the rest the same with the ice and stuff. Did not work..
