Just picked up my F900r a couple days ago. I am absolutely in love with it and put 200 miles already. I'm only saddened I did not get the ride modes pro package installed...
@@PetroHead wait, are you saying the bike comes with dynamic mode from the factory even without ride modes pro? I don't have it in my "modes" yet because I haven't done the first service...does that mean that at the first service they'll install the coding chip to unlock dynamic mode on my bike?
@@PetroHead the dealer didn't give me a coding chip, thats why I'm confused as to whether or not I have dynamic mode available, or they're just keeping it until I do my first service with them.
9:48 125 mph , 13:42 124 mph ______ Top speed is limited to 130 mph where it will not go ,past 8000 rpm in 6th. Ran it in Borrego where it was 95 to 100 deg. last Sunday. ___ Need to find an ECU re-flash when available. I'm thinking it would get to 135 to 140 mph once the hounds are set loose.
I have a 2011 f800r I bought last season with 5000 miles on it....I have 12000 as I type this. It's a fun bike and I use it as a daily commuter and love to lean corners.

You will feel no difference between dynamic and pro.

If your bike came with a coding chip (watch my video about it) then you can install it yourself. No first service required.

No I don’t think you have it unless you got premium package. Chip would be included with manuals and such.

It beat everything that day! Air temp was 100+
How’s the ground clearance? I’d like to take my XR to a track day after the first service but I’m a bit worried about the lean angle
It’s fine
Was this during the Classic track day event Carnival of speed? What group were you riding in?
Yep! Intermediate.
@@PetroHead Nice. My buddy was on a new Husqvarna 701 at that event.
Wow, the asphalt is completely dead 😱
@@olivier.f5480 It really is.
Wow, the surface of that track looks awful.
It really is.
What did you think of the F900R's acceleration & speed? (just don't judge my riding lol)
Looks good, what did you think about it?
Bike did well.. 😉
How's d suspension on the race track?
Pretty good actually.

Can you share telemetry?
How?
@@PetroHead you can use the BMW MOTORRAD app to know top speed, breaking levels, and inclination degree
The phone had to be connected to the bike for that. At the track, I didn’t take my phone.
Beginners group?
Int.
