Progress doesn't always make things better, sometimes it just changes things for the sake of changing them.
I saw someone the other day suggesting Airpods should have a loop on them that connects to a kind of necklace so you can pull them out and have them right there when you want to put them back in, hands-free while you talk to someone or do something. Also you wouldn't lose or break them if they fell out... I couldn't help but think of earphones on wires, like they used to be, didn't need charging, wouldn't drop to the floor if they fell out, right there when you want to put them back in your ears.

There's not just one generic Scottish accent. You'd have no trouble at all in understanding a middle class Scots accent, it would be easier for you to understand than many working class accents from England or Wales. It all depends on location and education level. But Scottish humour does tend to ham up the more difficult aspects of the accent, Kevin Bridges does that for effect a lot of the time

If you’re wondering how it’s pronounced, you were close. It’s pronounced “burn-ist-in”. Burnistoun is the name of the fictional town where this show is set, it’s basically a sketch show these two guys do where they play loads of different characters that live in Burnistoun, some are reoccurring some are just a one off. Its supposed to parody everyday Scottish city/town life. It’s hilarious but I’m not sure if it translates well to American audiences, just cause a lot of the humour is very Scottish centric. Could be very wrong though, you might love it
