Meet the Robinsons is one of my absolute favourite films. My family watches it together half the times we all meet up. It reminded us a lot of our family because... We also had multiple household members who were related to no one biologically and we let random people move in with us. Also the song "Little Wonders" would put it top tier for me. I love the theme of finding and creating your own family and not giving up on your future but keep moving forward. Frequently quoted lines from my family: "I know! I'll turn him into a duck! It's SO EVIL! oh, but I don't know how to do that... And I don't really need a duck." "Hmm take responsibility for my own actions or blame you? Ding ding ding BLAME you wins hands down!" "Keep moving forward" "I have a big head and little arms..." "Don't sass me boy! I know karate." "I've got the caffeine patch! Each patch is the equivalent of 12 cups of coffee, you can stay awake for days with no side effects! Aaaaahh! Who is this?"

Personally I agree with most ratings but I do disagree with the ratings of the first disney Computer animated films, but I definitely get what Seamus is saying. I like them a lot, Bolt is my brothers favorite movie and Meet the Robinsons is my dad's so I grew up watching them a lot and I really enjoy them. I can agree that Bolt and Chicken Little are lower on the list (Though I wouldn't put chicken little that low but that's because it's the first movie I remember watching *ever* so Nostalgia tinted lenses) , but Meet the Robinsons was such a good movie with such a cool twist and an excellent score. I can still get the future has arrived stuck in my head so easily. I have to say it is one of my favorite animated disney movies. I absolutely love the characters and I think the time travel was handled much better than most movies.
Meet the Robinsons is the best computer animated film. Fight me. Reasons below It may feel short, it may have some weak moments, but it has such wonderful likeable characters, A wonderful message that I live by (Keep moving forward- Walt Disney), and it is so entertaining to watch. (Not to mention the fact that it saved Disney from bankruptcy at that time. It might not be the best animation by now, but it really signifies, We all continue to keep moving forward, We should honor that of our past (Such as this movie) and also value our future. At the end of the day it always holds a special place in my heart, because it signifies this crucial step of moving onward, opening new doors and doing new things, just as the Disney Company was striving to do at this moment in time.
It’s not the worst but it’s not the best in my opinion. When I was younger my Mom put it on ALOT ALOT but the more she did the shorter it became. it seriously felt like 10 minutes to my dumb little brain.
I liked 4chan waluigi but I don’t remember the rest of it. There was like a science fair and a weird pre-luigi who played baseball but that’s all I remember. Oh and depressed frogs or something, right?
Wreck it Ralph 2 is one of my favorite movies. The message that you can have relationships while letting everyone have individuality is super strong and important. It can relate to romantic relationships, friendships, and parents watching their children grow up. I LOVE it, and will be sad when it leaves Netflix. Also... Frozen 2 was better than the original. :P I found the first annoying, but I loved how dark and sad and real parts of Frozen 2 was. They dealt with lots of problems adults have to face growing up, like extreme grief after loss, but no matter how hard things get, and you have no idea if the future will get better, you must keep going. Good stuff. Also, I love nearly all the songs!! Lost in the Woods with Weezer is AMAZING, have you seen the music videos?? Into the Unknown, both versions, are awesome. Dunno. I sometimes like sequels better because you have the lore already set but then can keep building from it.
I pretty much agree with all of this except the placement of Bolt. I think that's mostly nostalgia though because I nearly cry whenever I watch that one traveling montage scene. It just warms my heart so much
@@allisynweisenberger1941 I do like Tangled the series~ (or Rapunzel’s tangled adventure, whatever you want to call it) I watched a few episodes of Big hero 6 the series. I didn’t like it quite as much but maybe I should give it a second chance.

You have an terrible taste then... Chicken Little is bad movie for a reason... Watched it on Disney+ while ago and I even couldn't watch it to end, because it was that bad with terrible humor. Bolt is a heartwarming and wholesome movie with great story, likable characters and lovable doggo. Bolt is easily an H tier movie and way better than most crap Disney produces nowadays. Bolt deserves more love and he definitely deserves to be in next Kingdom Hearts game so he can hang out with other cool guys like Sora and possibly Cloud Strife and Sephiroth from Final Fantasy and also Smash Bros. :)

I grew up watching Tangled a lot as a kid (I’m serious.) I remember my mom taking me when I was in 1st grade to watch the movie in theaters for the first time. It also was my first time going to movies to. And then I remember going to ballet parties as a kid and Rapunzel would show up. Basically growing up I was raised by Rapunzel.
Nah, Both Frozen and Tangled are pretty good movies. Frozen had more elegance. And Tangled had more comedy. Thus, both Frozen and Tangled are unique in their own way.
if definitely put Tangled over Frozen even though it’s it’s less popular. Tangled has no “mystery villain” which is a trope that becomes a thing in a lot of the 2010 movies. Also there isn’t any shoved in characters for laughs like Olaf.
Sharing my opinion on that nostalgia factor Seamus was talking about. It's not only about the release date of the originals (and, consequently, their age), the gap between the original and the sequel is also crucial. Monsters, Inc. was released in 2001 and The Incredibles was released in 2004, which means that the audience grew up, in a period of more than 10 years between the originals' release and the sequels'. For Frozen, that gap was only of 6 years, which doesn't seem "enough" for an audience to develop that much nostalgia
The original chicken little basically an acorn landed on a chicken's head and he wanted to see the king and convinced a turkey, a rooster, a duck and a bunch of other winged animals before he tried to convince the fox that the sky was falling down but the fox lured him in to its lair and him and his family eat all of the animals. What a good ending for a children's book!
Meet the Robinsons and Bolt have a special place for me, probably because the ages of my kids when they started in heavy rotation on cable. Both are very rewatchable and have likeable characters.
@@mai_cool_beanzz5109 well, since frozen was made 5 years after tangled, the animation is very likely to be better because of advancements in technology. EDIT: I have been corrected it was actually 3 years sorry

Frequently quoted lines from my family:
"I know! I'll turn him into a duck! It's SO EVIL! oh, but I don't know how to do that... And I don't really need a duck."
"Hmm take responsibility for my own actions or blame you? Ding ding ding BLAME you wins hands down!"
"Keep moving forward"
"I have a big head and little arms..."
"Don't sass me boy! I know karate."
"I've got the caffeine patch! Each patch is the equivalent of 12 cups of coffee, you can stay awake for days with no side effects! Aaaaahh! Who is this?"
He didn't mention The LEGO Batman Movie as an animated superhero film, which is a shame, as it's rather good.
Mersenne Prime no offense but that movie is HORRIBLE I honestly hate it I don't actually like and Disney Lego movies they all kinda just ruin it
@@salma.hamadeh but... the lego movies aren't disney. and they're all good.
The Lego Batman movie is not Disney. And it was a good movie too so

I love PJO too
Oh hello Annabeth Chase I agree with you
Definitely and so do meet the Robinsons
@@OirichEntertainment omg I love Meet the Robinson’s! It gets such a bad rap but it’s one of my favorite childhood movies.

Fight me.
Reasons below
It may feel short, it may have some weak moments, but it has such wonderful likeable characters, A wonderful message that I live by (Keep moving forward- Walt Disney), and it is so entertaining to watch.
@@funkyfinn1 I was wondering who 4chan Waluigi was for a second then I got it....IM DEADDDD
I totally agree. This film changed my life.
I forgot the atrocity that is chicken little was actually made by disney
I pretty much agree with all of this except the placement of Bolt.
I think that's mostly nostalgia though because I nearly cry whenever I watch that one traveling montage scene. It just warms my heart so much
Seamus: putting Tangled and Big hero 6 in honourable after Frozen
Me who’s favourite Disney movies are literally those two films: :’)
Off topic-ish question:
Doth thou like the series of either?
(Please don’t ask why I said “doth thou” lol)
@@allisynweisenberger1941
I do like Tangled the series~ (or Rapunzel’s tangled adventure, whatever you want to call it)
I watched a few episodes of Big hero 6 the series. I didn’t like it quite as much but maybe I should give it a second chance.
They are my favourites too!
Seamus: I'm gonna call it a
For adequate
Your first time seeing Moana clearly wasn't in a theater. Moana just gets worse for because I can't recreate that magic at home. That animation on the big screen with great sound quality is gorgeous and gave me a lot of chills.
This is my ranking.
10. Chicken little ( obviously)
9. Meet the robinsons
8. Ralph breaks the internet
7. Frozen 2
6. Frozen ( now people hate me)
5.big hero 6
4. Zootopia
3. Wreck it Ralph
2. Bolt
1. Tangled ( well it’s my favourite Disney film.... and rapunzel is my favourite Disney princess...... and when will my life begin is my favourite Disney song..... so yeah)
Ours a pretty similar expect i would probably replace bolt with zootopia
@@luxx4 yeah, I don’t know what’s so great about it to me I just love bolt
Bolt , b-bolt locking bad guys up in the volt
Bolt, b-bolt more firery than a lump of coal!
Chicken Little is so fun. Please rewatch it! They put so much effort into little visual gags going on in the background with all the different animals. And the aliens are really fun and creative.
The movie is definitely better than Bolt...
"Is this an out of season April's Fools joke?" Stfu, Bolt was one of best Disney films on that time and you're comparing it to one of worst Disney films ever
I love Tangled seriously Rapunzel is adorable. Like seriously Eugene and Rapunzel are one of the best animated couples.
i disagree with maui being pointless, he was integral to moana’s self discovery and confidence spike, just my opinion :))
^
What are the odds.
If there’s no point to Maui, there’s no point to Han Solo. I REPEAT, HAN SOLO IS MAUI.
We need more seamuses in this world. Your videos are so fun and positive and it's nice to just listen someone talk about animated movies without getting too heated or serious or being overly critical.
Your videos make me so happy. It's a nice reminder, there is still good in the world. :)
Moana, like Hercules and many other films, follows the "hero's journey" formula beat by beat. Still good, love the music.
Nostalgia aside, I still find Bolt to be a hugely underrated film. Maybe I just like dogs too much, but I still loved the commentary on the movies/TV industry. It had its emotional and funny moments too. Seamus broke my heart by putting it so low.
I really thought you were gonna say “Elsa’s gonna run off into the.... unknown” 😐 shame on me for hoping I guess
You did your roots it looks so good!!!
I pretty much agree with everything except meet the Robinson is pretty good imo
Yes! It's better than Ralph 2, and close to if not better than Frozen 2. Also better than zootopia imo, which I would put as top of Adequate.
(Moana and Tangled deserve Top teir along with Ralph 1)
Yes totally agree. Meet the Robinsons is a great film but not the best out there. Should get more love tho
Everyone just forgets about it, and yes the animation isn’t great compared to today’s stuff, but that’s the point it came out 13 years ago. Maybe it’s just nostalgic, but I still enjoy it every now and then.
Yeah same!
@@erikliubakka6514 hmm... I don’t agree with u there. But I can respect it. For me, Zootopia has been one of the best animated films for a long time, but idk 🤷🏾♂️
so i found seamus's videos during quarantine and i gotta say, one of the best things that have happened to me this year.
I think you're TOO obsessed with Toy story, you try to find patterns with toy story and other movies. Cause I don't know if it's just me but I don't see Bolt being really that similar
It's closer to Finding Nemo, in my estimation.
@@a-s-greig yeah, it's kind of like 36% Buzz's arch, 51% Nemo and the rest is mostly original
It’s very similar to Buzz. I noticed while watching the movie for the first time.
I don't like the dissing of chicken little, that movie was adequate. Good video though!
“I’m going to put Bolt in this green tier...”
My childhood nostalgia: *internally screaming*
The in person audition people you speak of have no chance against me, I’ve got Penworth Shelfman, what does he have?
Seamus: I’m gonna start with Chicken Little
Me: Top Tier
Seamus: Bottom tier
Me: NOOOOO
Also there isn’t any shoved in characters for laughs like Olaf.
am i the only one that likes frozen 2 more than frozen like i never cry over animated movies but i cried about the parents about elsa's fake out death
Love this movie!
I went on youtube because I felt bad and needed a distraction and my favorite distraction just posted 😱 so thankful for you
i would really like a wreck it ralph video. I love it as well :)
Meet the robinsons is wayyyyyy more than adequate. The impact this movie has had on me is too much. But its fine

I cry every single time I watch it. It hits me in the feels lol
I've never disagreed with one of his tiers so much lol. That one hurt. Especially considering everything he put ahead of it 😩
It 100% deserves to be in top 5 at least.
@@MadiganinPeach when he put ralph breaks the internet over it, I screamed out loud
Seamus! If you're reading this, please rewatch Meet the Robinsons. Its way more then a time travel story!!
Am I the only one who hears the Monsters vs. Aliens song in his hand drumming?
Meet the Robinsons and Bolt have a special place for me, probably because the ages of my kids when they started in heavy rotation on cable. Both are very rewatchable and have likeable characters.
Seamus, you made a mistake putting Frozen ahead of Tangled!
Honestly I feel like frozen had better animation but they both rank on the same level in my opinion

@@mai_cool_beanzz5109 well, since frozen was made 5 years after tangled, the animation is very likely to be better because of advancements in technology.

@@mai_cool_beanzz5109 yeah, I actually prefer tangled but I respect your opinion.
the king candy twist was amazing because it wasnt too predictable, but it also wasnt from out of nowhere, mentioning turbo seemed like just a random backstory to raise the stakes of ralph leaving but then you learn hes back, not even a ‘hes back we need to find him’ but ‘hes back and hes here’
for your next tier list, maybe do the live action remakes, i want to see how that goes.
I remeber watching wreck it Ralph on my birthday. One of my favourite movies.
Seamus not sitting at a table is my sleep paralysis demon
first off, I would definitely watch a video of you talking about Wreck it Ralph, that sounds interesting and I'm curious about what you have to say about it.
For the most part I agree with this list, but I would switch Meet the Robinsons with Bolt, and I would switch Zootopia with Big Hero 6 (although I might be biased because of the memories I have with Big Hero 6)
another great video Seamus! cant wait for the next one!!
so this was the first time I ever checked your sub count and I was honestly shocked that you didn't have at least 1 mil. honestly, your content is so great and u need more recognition!
I actually loved frozen 2. They expanded things very well. Anna showed the reality of childhood trauma and elsa never made sence as queen she was truely an outsider to her people. My main issue is the mom being from the forest because the forest people are ment to be natives yet the mom is not a native like her people and neither elsa nor anna look like thier mom wad native.
There's an explaination for that from the directors. There's an affect called Vitiligo, which makes people skin gradually turn white. It's a rare affect in some people's DNA. I recommand reading this article for more info about it: www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/vitiligo/symptoms-causes/syc-20355912
OK, So, how many signatures would I have to get on a petition for you to start doing Disney Sequel reviews again.
I never thought I would agree with Seamus more than this tier list! I would change the order a tiny bit but overall I think this is a correct opinion! lol
I agree, I would just put Tangled in the top tear,
Ok, but like, maybe it's the nostalgia talking,, but I really liked Meet the Robinsons better than Ralph Breaks the Internet.. honestly wreck it Ralph 2 might be better than I remember it being, though.
No it's not that great. Most people don't like Wreck It Ralph 2 that much. He is just very biased towards the franchise because he loves the characters for some reason. I hated it way more than I hated the original (although most people think the original is good).
i actually agree 100% with your ranking and I'm pleasantly surprised
I would love a series about Seamus talking about each Disney films flaws and Best Moments!
