Love to see how you incorporate films with native speakers saying the words. It’s great for us non native speakers to hear native speakers say the words. It’s great to be able to hear many tones from others.
I appreciate your time & energy. Thank you

I've been in China for a while. Another way to say goodbye in some other way is to say "路上注意安全啊". It's kind of "照顾好自己啊",“路上小心点儿”,等等。 Chinese is beautiful

Your video's keep helping me dearly! I am attempting to tackle this intimidating study on my own. I am currently a year deep in this study and your videos are an uncanny support. I 100% love and enjoy the study! I hope to have a good and nice conversion with my mother in law one day! Thank you for all the high quality content! Genuinely a fan!

I hear “xing” all the time & was trying to look it up on Pleco, but didn’t know how to spell it. I thought it was an S and it’s really an X. Thanks for solving this mystery.

I think 路上小心 can be used even when the person you are talking to is not driving, but I don't really know, I don't really have a habit of greeting.

This is a wonderful video Luke, and am loving all of the new videos you and Phil are adding, which are helpful and great additions to the regular coursework. And also the "study hacks" and I keep reviewing and reading the books you have recommended on how to manage time to study, they are all teaching me new things to add to my "useful phrases" and to keep me moving forward!!

So useful, and so enjoyable at this speed! Wish your shorts were slower and the base ideogram stayed longer on the screen.

Really excellent how you explain what each phrase literally means and put it into context, which shows a deep immersed understanding of the Chinese language and importantly, help learners of the language to “tune in” and build fluency.

this is quite interesting because as a person with autism, even though I'm a native speaker, I learned a lot from this video. The social piece was what I had been missing.
