You really do keep teasing me with almost taking the aspect of Pan. But as usual, I love your runs! The Axe is amazing, I hope we can find some dark to take Thanatos' scythe out soon! Man, imagine being at that concert - the girl the band's dissing kills the backup singers, then the main singer, then after some cosmic random shit she just dies And you still haven't got your refund from Ticketmaster
So I noticed you something called "D-wood" to do one of those incantations. I looked and, you can only find these in the undead ships on the surface. But apparently, it's considered and treated as a rare spawn, so... good luck finding it.
Mang, I figured they're located at the ship. I've been following the testaments, but they're mostly Underworld runs. I'll just have to do some Surface runs with no bounty then. thanks for looking it up ^
Ah, to make up for my neglect, I have another joke for you Hamstir. What does Selene say to Hecate when Mel is acting up? "Oh Hecate, it's just a phase!"
12:00 I had a feeling Polyphemus would have special dialogue for the Knuckle Bones. (Hecate also has unique dialogue for them, I saw it in a different video) 19:10 Huh, so the ghost ships can't sustain themselves without Chronos. Perhaps the gates to the underworld aren't *as* open as we've been led to believe if the Titan's presence is required for the shades to escape. 28:28 I mean, if Frinos can casually stand in Chronos's instant death effects, I don't see why the cat can't lounge in the fire. 29:45 I mean... 35:25 Yep, happily married, there's definitely never been any drama regarding Aphrodite's near constant cheating with Ares. 36:05 Ooh, Duo boon offered right away. Nice. 40:05 Oh, Chronos is interfering during a Chaos Trial? That's brave of him. I personally would not risk angering Chaos by interfering in their experiments. 43:37 Yeah, Chaos Boons really aren't worth in for single region runs. Not enough encounters to get the good effect.
Right, I encountered it in Testing. Actually, it may be my favorite keepsake interaction from Hecate. The way she says, "I'm braced for impact" shows she's not afraid to take hits. That or Nem's keepsake may be my favorite actually.. Right! Seems like the reconstruction of Chronos only gives Olympus time to breathe before the endless mayhem restarts, These magical companions don't share the same concerns with us. Ya... LOL that's the thing here, Hephaestus either doesn't seem bothered, or it hasn't happened yet? because they still seem very happy together based the interactions I've seen, such as if Mel has Aphrodite's favor, then Hephaestus helps no questions asked. Chronos was feeling bold. I'm waiting til there's a trial in Tartarus for Chaos to handle personally. True logically ^ However, I'll be continuing for Chaos interactions haha
Icarus likes what we did! He notices! Love him! The Chaos trials are nice to see. It seems Chaos has the time of their life witnessing infinite possibilities, now that their nieces are gone. Eris is a rebel, much like Zagreus, if not more. She didn't like the status quo, but probably doesn't even want Chronos to win. If things stay just like they are, then she'll be all the more grateful. I believe the "I can't accept this!" Was a fakeout. Maybe. Possibly. Or maybe she'll be carching the feels for Mel! Chaotic Goblin and Little Miss Perfect do be a combo. (´ε` )♡ I was apparently wrong about the bow theory where one needs a lot of strength, back problems and so on, as Melinoë is apparently stronger than Ajax. Fun fact: The soap brand Ajax is named after him, because it's stronger than Grease. :D (Not kidding. It's their slogan.)
We love Icarus! It's very nice seeing Chaos take charge in some way. Graced by our master. I agree with your read of Eris ^ especially on the status quo. Sounds to me she has reasons to exist in a place like this. The senseless violence makes sense to her. Seems like I reached my limit gifting her nectar, but her fakeout was hilarious. I'm really not sure if they will be an option for romance. From most likely to least, I see Moros > Icarus > Nem > Eris > Dora and Arachne?! > Hypnos?!! Ah, thanks for the soup lore LOL. I'll keep my eye out for Ajax reincarnate.

@@dylanpyle6500 I will say, Eris specifically said no going back the way it used to be. Mel also frames their cause as "Moving forward" in response to Eris's critique. 4:05 they all appreciate it, some of them just have a measure of pride that doesn’t clash well with the fact that they need it 😂 14:52 Mh…I wonder if she says this because rather than greek war ships, the ships are modeled after more stereotypical pirate ships from circa the 17th century, aka they’re from somewhen else, fitting for the titan of Time… 29:45 [side-eyeing Pandora’s myth] ….yea…..
Not sure, maybe a shot in the dark from my part, but : Were they many sort of "blueprint" for trireme or bireme in the Antiquity ? Maybe the devs wanted to avoid having 7-8 encounter in basically the same ship, aka room. Also, if you take the "nerdy" route : For a troop-transport, what was the ratio rower per soldier ? Maybe Chronos prefer ship with many sail so no rower = more place for soldier. On the other hand, more recent ship like they show here could be "melting pot" of any british / dutch / spanish / french design. That case leave more liberty for "room" set up.
That's a good point ^ and I'm sure Mel has seen what Greek warships would look like from her teachings with Od. I would've imagined Chronos had enough manpower to organize rowers, seeing his fleet are undead and recyclable. But maybe they can't be organized at all lmao. If only Dora wasn't joking heh... I'm curious of what Nem would have to say whether Dora deserved the fate she had. After all, she was simply instructed not to open the box (or jar). But at the same time, it was expected she would open the gift. Hmm.
@@Hamstir4 I don't think Dora's joking 🤔 I think she thinks she's joking, making up a fanciful tale, but actually, maybe she's not at all. Too much of it checks out, at least for me Pandora (who in earlier tellings was called Aenesidora) was the first woman to ever been created, and it comes up more than a few times that Dora as a shade is extremely old. Following the Theogony, (because that's the version of Odysseus they used so we might as well), she was created by Zeus and Hephaestus out clay and given as a wife to Ephimeteus, brother of Prometheus, who had tricked the gods and helped humanity before, and she was given this large sealed vase as a wedding gift she was told not to open (In some other versions she was made by Athena and Hephaestus and I think that explains better her curiosity, because curiosity is a thirst for knowledge). I don't know if that's the general consensus, but at least to me, Pandora was set up to fail. She was made curious, because I'm sure if the gods didn't wanted her curious they could have not made her that, given something that they had filled with spirits of misery, illness and the like and then told her she wasn't allowed to open it, without anyone telling her why she wasn't allowed to. Now, that might be me, but if you hand someone a suitcase with a bomb in it, maybe telling them there's a BOMB in it that'll explode if you open it would ensure that they keep that closed. What also always made me think she was "set up" is that hope was at the bottom of the vase, like someone expected her to open it eventually and find it there. I do think she was basically used as a scapegoat for the gods to punish the humanity that Prometheus helped without actively doing so themselves (and possibly punishing Prometheus himself just a little bit more in the versions where she's married to him and not to his brother). So yes, I do think "A young woman who didn't know better and didn't deserve the tragic fate that she had" fits her
@@disastrouslylargeicedmocha Right, a lot of it checks out, nearly 100%. It's just supposedly Dora has her memories lost, my guess they're repressed memories as it was traumatic. Hmm!
