Did a 200 miler yesterday I-4 and I-95, Orlando to St Augustine, then back, but from Daytona the last leg opted for the 2 lane.
Because, as you know, A Lot Can Happen While Riding.
There are more wrecks going to same direction, even on straight road here, I bet, than anywhere USA.
That’s crazy I live in Sanford and literally about to get my first bike soon can’t wait to make a run like that
@@2naPhish I-4 and I-95 are, in my humble opinion w 40+ yrs of riding, dangerous for any rider. If you're thinking about riding your first bike on either I would say get some road time in before doing that, and then during non peak traffic hours. Plenty of good 2 lane to roll about on. I rregularly hit 46 out to 429 then up 19, 17, 40, and a lot of non heavy volume road. Never gonna tell someone what to do but maybe find some riders to ride with that won't take you beyond your abilities. Then there is always 'the man', so ride safe, ride smart.

Goat, Michelin Road 6 GTs. They're like butter and glued to the road, even wet. The GTs because you're at speed.
Those are what I just got for my Ninja 400. Replaced the stock Dunlops that came with the bike new. :)
The "GT" model has nothing to do with speed - they are made for heavier touring bikes.
@@S4WYERonPC yes force = mass X acceleration. The higher there the speed the more force that is exerted so for what the Goat does, the thicker the the sides the more stable he will be at speed.
@@morningfam unless he's running MotoGP aero he's not generating any down force, so he doesn't weigh anymore at speed than standing still. The extra layer in the GT spec is specifically for bike weight and / or passenger weight.
Actually, mine are just the Road 6, not the GT...

I've had TWO bird strikes while riding. One was horribly bad that I'm grateful I survived without dying ( hit owl at 130) the other, I kinda got revenge on birds. I hate birds..

Those bird strikes have gotten a lot in recent years, or have they? I have only experienced three last summer, but never before that. One out of the three I even had to duck, otherwise I would have hit that hawk.
I think bird strikes by vehicles is the leading cause of death for birds.

What that guy did in the blue car. Sometimes I wonder, What's their point? Or what was that persons thought process that made them conclude that what they're doing is a good idea? I mean really? Is he saying to himself, "I show that guy on the motorcycle a thing or two and teach him a lesson!!" Then afterwards saying, "Yeah!! I showed him what's up!!"
As ridiculous as all that sounds, there are folks out there that think (or whatever you want to call it) like that. I guess it's like trying to figure out why we call red "red". There's no real answer, it's just how it is. Oh well.

A motorcycle is one thing, odds are overwhelmingly not in the riders favor, as far as an accident. But doing that in a car is something different all together. I don't care what their driving!!
