Hi I'm the dev, thanks for your video, the giant wave coming during an moment of heavy fog made it quite confusing ^^" I'll have to prevent the fog from happening at the same time as the wave...
@@davidmmuench I was part of the "Toulouse Game Dev" group of indie dev like Miju Games, it's not a surprise we share some inspiration, and my first Steam game Alchemist's Awakening was already about gathering resources with the same mechanics, crafting and bringing life ;)
So there are Iron, Copper, Quartz, and Cobalt nodes on the island. If you head to the center of the main island or go north from where you started (over the mountain) you'll find all the nodes. If you build the scanner, it will show you on the map where the nodes are. If you hold down left-shift while crafting, it will craft bulk instead of one at a time. As you build and craft, it unlocks more things so keep building and crafting.... Have fun Kage, love your work.
Love this game. Cannot wait for the full release. The wave comes after so long and takes out the power stations but does not destroy structures. It respawns you back in the base. Copper nodes are up in the mountains
Foundry is another great one, Evospace has hard receipes and options, looks great too. FortressCraft is completely different but also a great find indeed! ;-)
I agree with you. There is no reason why all survival games aren't random - triggers and "required stops" can always be placed over a random gen. If Devs want us to want to replay a game and make buying it worth the money, they should consider this a way to allow us to play again in another map generation.
There are 3 sulfur caves - you can find them on your own or look for info how to locate them in discusions on steem More sulfur and one more finite resource can be found on the other island if you unlock and make power cell for your ship
Another SE Fan, glad I'm not the only one here. :) This game is even more amazing than it seems. I know Kage loves building stuff, and the building is way more than first meets the eye.
We all know how dramatically Demo presentations change when rebalanced and optimized for early access, but this presentation shows a lot of intriguing potential as is. It's my hope, @Kage848, that you'll be able to overcome your uneasiness related to the Tsunamis in short order. @OsarisGames, perhaps you'll allow the Fog to directly follow the Tsunami in succession, hence giving it a reasonable origin. To be fair, because the Ocean water is toxic, then the resulting Evaporation Fog should be also. This affords a reasonable logic to the necessity of growing Organics indoors, until the Planet atmosphere can be adjusted to support unsheltered life.
Isn’t this very similar to the game planet crafter…..with the only exception where in this you can dig into the ground……THAT IDEA IS AWESOME and to few games do it
Hey. your wind turbines are still there after the tidal wave event??? and FYI, the wave happens about every 40-45 minutes real time and it wipes out all electric, at least mine does. make the analyzer, it will show all mine-able nodes on the map.
I've played this but didn't realise the wall of water didn't do anything whatsoever if you was outside, I mean what is the point of it, doesn't kill you, doesn't wash anything away, atm it's completely pointless.
Kage it’s about time somebody put you in your place. Stop it bro, just stop it with all these new survival games I can’t keep buying all of this crap. Please stawwwwp! My wife is pissed.
This is an exact replica of planet crafter, with the only exception being that you can dig in the ground, also planet crafter is already finished, this DOES look interesting though
Is this a carbon copy of planet crafter? I mean even the premice is the exact same, same building and even animations, cmon at least put some effort into making it different from the rest.
It may be convenient to have this stupid Majic Gun builder of everything but I hate these types of games. I wish I had money. I could build a better, more realistic game out of a cave with a box of scraps than how fake they make these games today.

i love the game... but this water wave could be also optional. i have also an issue emotional with this
@@trimax4308 in the full game, you'll be able to choose your planet, including "peaceful" ones
Since Miju Games is also from France & this game is very similar to Planet Crafter, are you associated with them?

this game could be huge seems like a good mixture of a lot of other games i really enjoy. going to download the demo after work, looks amazing so far!

I got the demo after watching and there is a near by big copper ore that can be mined! Awesome game from what I have seen so far!
I have found plenty of large Iron deposits but no Copper ones so far
For voxel procedural gen crafting games, "Evospace" is often overlooked. Alternatively, an older game but still great - "FortressCraft Evolved!".
Foundry is another great one, Evospace has hard receipes and options, looks great too. FortressCraft is completely different but also a great find indeed! ;-)
This game is awesome but I never would have found it. It has so much potential I've already added it to my wishlist. Thanks for highlighting it!!
Being able to build under then quick clear the area is going to make Josh at Let's Game it Out, very happy...

You had me at "New Factory Survival Game".
I can see the similarity between Planet Crafter & Satisfactory. Looks interesting.

More sulfur and one more finite resource can be found on the other island if you unlock and make power cell for your ship
Looks really good so far. Hope for several more videos then I will decide to buy or not. I love playing Planet Crafter so this should be to my taste.
You know, you and GameEdged are two awesome dudes.
out side a klan raging out kage space engineers think a co op with splitsie or wastedspace would be epic as hell
Another SE Fan, glad I'm not the only one here. :) This game is even more amazing than it seems. I know Kage loves building stuff, and the building is way more than first meets the eye.
This game look so much like Planet Crafter, with the only difference digging in the ground.
it's like the baby of planet crafter and space engineers
Looks like it has some promise will give it shot. Love planet craftier so this could be a good fit
Loved the vid mate 😁👍

this is the some engine of planet crafter
Definitely looks fun. I'd be interested to see more vids...
Game looks great and is in my wish list Love that you can dig down
Yep, a tsunami will do that to you. Quick, make a surfboard and see what happens next !
Isn’t this very similar to the game planet crafter…..with the only exception where in this you can dig into the ground……THAT IDEA IS AWESOME and to few games do it
Check Foundry and Fortresscraft, if you like the blocky world that is... but that soon becomes normal once you play of cause... ;-)
Much as i would love to play this demo will not run on my pc keeps crashing like some other demos
Would like to see as much as possible of this game
The first 5 minutes give me huge No Mans Sky vibes
I think 7 Days to Die does a good job of using the Voxel concept.
for orientation looks like you can just remember leftie innie rightie outie
How to give energy cells to space ship
This game looks sick, I wanna try it now 😝
Looks good so far

Start adding them from the miner
looks like a low res planet crafter mixed with hydroneer and space engineers.
Planet Crafter meets Osiris.
I agree. I like random world gen.
You should play Empyrion Galactic Survival if you haven't already, it has so much more to do than this.
Tried but found it a bit awkward to figure out the ui mechanics, looks cool though
Poor lizard brain 😂
Makes me think a little bit about Empyrion.
I've played this but didn't realise the wall of water didn't do anything whatsoever if you was outside, I mean what is the point of it, doesn't kill you, doesn't wash anything away, atm it's completely pointless.
This game reminds me of Crafter ans Satisfactory.
I like this game
Hello almost Empyrion
u right click your oxygen bottle and it will fill the bar up
This looks promising ..... im digging it
Thank Dev for no person talking constantly telling me what to do , i get im odd , but its annoys me for some reason, in fine with text dialogues
More Eden Crafters
Kage it’s about time somebody put you in your place. Stop it bro, just stop it with all these new survival games I can’t keep buying all of this crap. Please stawwwwp! My wife is pissed.
In my case I’m the pissed one. But I’m also the one I’m pissed at. My library is full of Kage games.
do u have a play list Kage? of this?
[wince] When a new game is a bit too much like an existing game. Hopefully it separates itself later.
i tried to put addition and it would not work for me could not rotate it and it was blue to put down
So its like Planet crafter then
More!
What is voxal? Thanks. Greagt video
Interstellar and Moonfall are such great movies!!
So this is Planet Crafter... but "easy mode"
what is different from planet crafter ? what is better ?
Can be a really good game, have to see how it evolves. I have played the demo some, along given feedback on their Discord, still very EA.
Might as well switch to this since i finished story for Fountain of Youth - all thats left is some SM stuff for trophy and finishing the base
This is an exact replica of planet crafter, with the only exception being that you can dig in the ground, also planet crafter is already finished, this DOES look interesting though
@@zachall101 Sorry but with statment that its exacly as Planet Crafter I must sey - Did you ever play Planet Crafter?
Lol this guy, how can Vogel based proc gen games make a comeback if no band sky had the market "cornered"
Is this still a demo?
I still like Empyrion more.
What is this a new planet crafter simulator game
Look up! Holy sh!t
#2 lol
Fisrt

Not everyone wants to spend hours grinding in a video game. It's meant to be fun, you know? 🙄
