Oh wow! This was my Grom! I ended up trading for a Ducati Monster in Charlotte! Anyone have any info about its whereabouts or how she’s doing?? I’d love to follow her!
Awesome man! It sold fairly quickly and I don’t have any information on the buyer but if you email us or message us on instagram maybe we can chat further. Thanks for the comment!
How is this channel not at 100K+ subs yet? The quality of these reviews is top notch.
You're so supportive. Really appreciate it!
@@ridexdrive I found your channel when I bought my '21 Kia Forte GT. You were pretty much the only person to review that vehicle with a manual. I bought it after watching your review and have been a loyal subscriber since. I also used to own a '16 MX'5 ND Miata and a Ninja 250 & Ninja 300. So your channel is perfect for me.
That’s awesome. Haha. Makes sense. Good lineup.
I’ve got a 2017 grom heavily modified. I ride it more than my boulevard. It’s so nimble and light even at 42 years old I feel like a kid riding it. I have kenda dual sport tires and often go off road and I mean off road between trees with no trail in the mountains around my home.
Thanks for sharing this!
Nice review man. Picked up my 23 Grom a couple of weeks ago and love it. Haven’t done anything to it yet but I plan on stretching it soon.
Haha! Awesome. Enjoy it!
Is it more challenging to wheelie it?
Love it! What kind of handlebars are these?
Does the new motor fix the oil pick up issues when stunting?
I've seen quite a few Grom videos and this is up at the top. Well done sir, thank you for sharing!
Yoo! Thanks. Glad you thought it was well done. Appreciate the comment!
I use to have a Honda XR250R that I parted with 14yrs ago and recently I find myself itching for a bike to ride again.
nice, i have 2022 grom with intake, exhaust, ecu flash, and windshield and it does 70. like it depends on your area but i needed the extra 10 on top due to 55mph roads where people will be going 60-65. otherwise stock, it is very nice except for cheap chain. i replaced mine with protaper. like i had a ninja 250 before and i think this is a better first bike given you understand that it is a bit more forgiving on mistakes.
Thanks for sharing this!
What intake and exhaust you get?
@@lucaspaxton5131 TST Worx airbox and Tyga high mount exhaust. Exhaust is pricey you can go with something cheaper from amazon or ebay. I also run 30/30 psi and have a new chain and sprocket. I got it up to 72 on flat no wind surface. I highly recommend the TST Worx airbox if you are not going to do a cooler in the future. It does sound badass, gives good power, and is super cheap.
@@bakotako is there any way you can post a video showing the sound and point out the mods?
@@durkadur27 sure I have a separate from channel. I'll post link tomorrow
ive had 81 on down hill with only after market exhaust but gets to 77 on flat easy
I can strap it to the back of my 1000 in case I run out of gas or break down 😂
My local dealer says they are going to be at least $4200
I think this review was a little understated. The grom is incredible on fuel for a 6L tank. I'm getting 220-250km per tank. I ride 11km each way to work and it's almost every 10-14 days when I'm refilling. It's such a forgiving bike... accidentally up/down shift with no clutch? No worries, bike won't jerk outta control. The LEDs are BRIGHT. Despite it's price, not much feels cheap about it. Stock chain is a bit crappy and needs adjustment every couple hundred km. It's so small you could fit it into the back of a car as is. It's so fun blasting through the gears. The aftermarket accessories list goes on forever and there are HUGE communities willing to help out with any questions. Amazing bike, particularly for new riders who may need help or might not know anyone in person to support them.
Thanks for your thoughts! Really appreciate this comment from an owner. Cheers!
I'm getting insane mpg. I'm 6 foot 2, at 180 pounds.
I’m going have to ride the hour drive to Motorcycles of Charlotte.
Do it. Tell them we sent you!
Good luck fining one 😏
man where do i find one?
Why didn’t you shift to 5th gear on that top speed run?
I did multiple runs. When I shifted to 5th gear it actually lost speed and was slower to gain it back. Essentially there was no benefit to shifting into 5th.
I haven't modded my 2022. But then I saw your seat. What is it and how do I get one? :)
Thanks for the review
Hey. It’s not my personal bike so I am not sure about all the details for this bike’s modifications. But google “Grom Quilted Seat/Seat Cover” and perhaps you can find it or something similar. Thanks for the comment!
Thanks for the reply. I’ll look it up.
Your video got me to ride my grom today. My fear of riding has been getting to my head and I needed a reminder of what an awesome bike I have to ride it
Ride safe, cheers!
May I ask, why are you afraid of riding?
@@ridexdrive I’m a pretty new rider. Still have shitty clutch control (at the beginning of a ride, I tend to stall once). So my anxiety just makes me get all stressed out about it. By the end Of the ride I’m good though. ITs in my head
Gotcha. Definitely understand. You’ll gain more confidence with time. Safe riding!
