I just found your channel and ended up spending two hours watching psychology videos, which I’ve never done before. I love this video, because I love comic con and it’s sort of difficult to explain why I go year after year to wait in five hour lines and push through crowds, and your video did a great job of that. Also, your misophonia video helped me understand some things about my own sound sensitivity. Thanks!
Excellent video. For me, cosplay is my favorite thing. Of all the things to do at Comic Con, is roving around, having pictures taken with me. You are 100% correct about striking up a conversation with someone near you while standing in line. When in cosplay, people will often initiate the conversation with you about your character. It makes standing in line one if the fun parts of Comic Con, rather than something you have to endure, to get to a panel, a celebrity photo op, or anything else. I don't think I would enjoy the show nearly as much, if I didn't cosplay as my favorite super-hero character.(The Greatest American Hero) Other than an occasional Halloween party, I would never really have occasion to "suit up", if it wasn't for these conventions. It really IS an opportunity to dress up and live a fantasy for a while. Another draw, is the panels. I find some of them very informative.
