Wanting to get more clients at his cafe, Greg came up with a “genius” idea. He made the waitresses wear extra revealing uniforms. The girls refused first. But when Greg threatened to fire them, they went along with his vile marketing move.
Amanda, on the other hand, wasn’t about to accept this. She had something else in mind.

I really like the new concept and direction that DramatizeMe is going. All women actors wearing swimsuits while performing their roles.

Idea: shoot multiple versions at once. Same amount of work. 4x the video content. Much more views. More $$. Alternative story paths or timelines: One where the investor IS that guy, and the surprise in the changing room is the expected one.. one where, that, but the girls decide they want to be able to feed their families, and let it happen.. one where Amanda isn't such a prude and gets tons of tips and $$ and makes an OF.. one where title is "Waitresses Forced To Wear Thongs".. etc..
He has no right to force his employees to wear something that is very inappropriate and uncomfortable for them.
Even if Gregory pulled out a cheerleader or drum majorette uniform is a problem.

The fact that all the men in the comment section are trying to justify the objectification of women while all the women are complimenting it on how it points to the issues in society when it comes to sexualizing women is not only sad, but ridiculous. It is clearly an expensive restaurant or at least one where the dress code would be completely out of place as the swimsuits don't even match the theme. 🙄

I'd love to see to see a part two that takes place a few years down the line; the former manager is now homeless and the team at the restaurant eventually take pity on him and hire him... but he has to start from the ground up as a janitor or busboy and hopefully as he grows in experience, he grows in humanity and humility.

Manager was right from the beginning.
If waitresses doesn't want to dress in a way the management damands them to, they can leave and do whatever they want. That's the free world we're living in.
And the selling for 1 dollar part? Even if he did that knowingly, he can still sue them and revoke the selling easily. Because a restaurant can never be sold at that price.

Except in places like Hooters, where the waitresses have to conform to the business policies in order to work there. Just about every nude bar, and top less bars require the girls to wear either lingerie, or swimsuits, or other sexy underwear related outfit like thongs, G strings or whatever else.

lol. Why would it be "humiliating" to wear a swimsuit, especially one as covered up as that? I'd argue dressing to look like Mary Poppins is more humiliating. Serious self-esteem issues for those waitresses.
Also I'd argue the fake investor (FI) was creepier/worse than the owner. The FI made one of the girls wear a swimsuit despite protests, looked down her swimsuit, and presumably was in the same room while she changed her clothes... but he's a hero and the owner isn't?

I used to like other episodes, but not this one… What he did was legal (just google “at will employment” in the US). On the other hand, what they did was completely illegal (fraud), a US court will invalidate the deal, and those two will probably go to a jail. So what is the moral of this story?

The only unrealistic thing was the one-dollar trick; even if signed by the owner, a contract like this cannot stand as the price is way too low for the subject of the agreement. They could have fooled him with a small amount, but not one dollar. Otherwise, a perfect story!

This kind of thing does still go on to this day. I may be an old guy if 60, but the girls portrayed in this video should open the eyes of those who are harassed. No person, male or female, deserves to be embarrassed and humiliated like this. Good, hard working women are why businesses thrive. They're smart, reliable and very hard workers. As i watched how the girls were being treated, i was getting ticked off. I had a great mother who always taught us to respect women. To me, women are the heart and soul of the world. Men need to understand that we are all equal. All races, all colors and all genders. This was what my mom taught this little kid. I grew up taking care of her during her alzhemiers. She passed in my arms as my sister and I tried to get her to the hospital. She was a wonderful mom, mother to all 3 of us, and a good wife to my late dad. The workd needs more like her. And they are out there. Good, honest women. Thank you for being true to who you are. Sorry if this ran long or got preachy, but I just believe in respect to all.
