I met a girl after a lengthy hospital stay and living in housing for homeless vets. Was just starting to work about 16-20 hrs a week. When Easter came along her parents invited me to dinner. I felt ackward and embarrassed through the whole visit. When they dropped me off her mother told me, not to worry, you make her happy that's what is important. That was 18 years ago.

If they wanted to pay everyone "their" money, which the banks don't have, just as they don't have the GOLD that people think they invest in and that they only own it virtually, the banks never owned it and don' t! If people were to choose their physical gold, no one would ever have it!

It's not just only an 11 minute short film but also carry the great lesson of life I highly appreciate the strong message.
What message? That homelessness doesn't affect people negatively, doesn't drastically reduce life expectancy and quality of life? One shave is enough and you look like the blooming life again! A strong message would be if the rich woman choses someone actually from the lower class instead of an upper class guy disguised as a bum.

It grinds my gears to hear people call homeless men bums. Just because a man is homeless doesn't make him a bum, last I check bums don't work they bum around asking for hand outs instead of working for it themselves. Teenagers 16 and older without jobs are bums if they're not going to school full time

Bums basically means lazy bums, so as teenagers who don't go to school.
Didn't you notice they are not peticularly good with English language? That means they probably used the words they use in their native language and directly translate those to English. They had no clue which words would be more appropriate.

And this was a magical episode as the sound track sang to us, the audience. This episode was firing all eight cylinders of a well tuned production engine. All of the nine actors, from the two fellow homeless to the friend and the landlord at the salon to the parents and the would be arrogant suitor at the restaurant to our two main protagonist played their roles to perfection. I would love to be on that set. Everyone was enjoying acting in this production and giving a great performance. The operative word is magical. Thank you for another magical love story. You all are the Best!

While it is not ideal, sometimes love can make things better even just for a while. But if it helps, even if it's in the most little form, it helps. But of course it's not a solution, but for couples like that, love makes things a little easier.
