Miqra 2024 part 2

The School of Theology community will hold a 72-hour public Bible reading to celebrate our newly received gift of The Saint John's Bible, Heritage Edition and to bathe our newly renovated Hamilton Hall in scripture. The contemporary practice of reading the entire Bible is known as Miqra - a Hebrew word, which means “reading,” and refers to the ancient Jewish practice of gathering to hear a public reading of scripture.
