All the background radio chatter and character voices make it feel really alive and hectic, especially when mixed with the deafening effects. Then you’ve got all the visual effects like different types of tracers from heavy weapons and tanks, different explosions from fireballs to dust clouds. This game was fucking great. Felt like an awesome war movie the whole time.
Best shooter ever. If they remastered this I would marry it and get it pregnant; Our offspring would be Bad Company 3 and would rule the genre for many generations.

BC2 and CoD4 are my favorite military shooters. Played the shit out of them, and they haven't been surpassed by any of their sequels.

It was definitely sick bc I loved this game too BT let's be honest? No prone, limited weapons selection (compared to BF4), and it wasn't 32 vs 32. BF4 is the BEST BF game ever. BF2 is a 9/10 and BF4 is a 9.5/10.. jus my opinion. Nice gameplay to the maker of this vid
Because of the sound, I’m immersed in the game by just watching this video. Crazy how good the sound design is. The yelling, the distorted voice from the radio, explosions. Perfect...and that’s just the sound. I miss this game so damn much. Bad Company 2 and BF3 will forever be the best Battlefield games for me.

Once in a while a mysterious feeling comes up that implores me to search for BFBC2 and reminisce about the time where I played this game regularly. I don't think I've played many games that have that sort of effect on me. I really hope they release another Bad Company or at least remaster the game.

Have you tried BF V? Im a huge fan of Bad company 2 and Battlefield V actually sometimes feel like BC2. The new maps feels like the open maps in BC2. I got it for $30 and I'm enjoying it a lot. Too bad that no game can come close to the sound of Bad company 2, but this still feels great.
@@FelipeCh it's just muddled tunnel reverb filter, I rather enjoy the crisp clean sounds in BFV over this. 3D headphones is good for surround sound and wartapes is good for bass subwoofer setups.

Battlefield 3 was the best and that's how every Battlefield should feel and play like. Plus the dialogue was 10x better and not screaming women. DICE did an excellent job with the audio and gameplay in this game, immersion was second-to-none. Bad Co 2 remastered would fly off the shelves in 2019 if done properly.

i dont know why but my for me the mouse movement is not quite smooth as with bf3 and up. it is not due to the graphics card, maybe the netcode was not yet mature at that time ?!

It's so awesome to hear the different languages of both teams screaming in the same area of the map. It really puts you in the war of the game. You hear Russian and then you hear Americans screaming in the next room. It's so awesome
Everything in this Game was better than in BF5, Sounddesign, Weapon Recoil, Feeling of War, Screams in game which let you feel youre in a Battle for your Life, Mapdesign, Voiceover fitting to the Team and so on .. this was a Masterpiece in the Franchise !

I bought BFV after some time out from gaming (I’d been playing since 1942). I wanted to reignite my love for battlefield and all I thought the whole time I played it, was how good BC2 was. I honestly don’t understand how you could of built a game like BC2 and let it all go to shit. Evolution of the game and not revolution would of made today’s battlefields so much better. EA is all about pumping out constant shit and making money, Its destroying a community and that’s actually quite sad.

Man I remember seeing the "battlefield moments" episode trailers showcasing what we were in store for this game... They were so good. I remember being so hyped for any info I could get my hands on for this game... Then the Vietnam expansion! I can honestly say bc2 and battlefield 3 were the last time I was super hyped for a shooter. Good shooters and games have came out ofcourse but that true giddy excitement hasnt been matched.

Man, i miss this Battlefield, battlefield 2 and bad companies were the best. They were arcadish as the core of battlefield is indeed, but also, they were more tactical, nowadays Battlefield is a COD in disguise man, like every fucking kid loves the Locker map or Metro. Where is the slower paced , more tactical, arcadish shooter that Battlefield was. Back then you could appreciate the battlefield moments.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 was the peak of battlefield. Battlefield 3 was a step down, battlefield 4 was a glitchy pile of shit, hardline was underwhelming, battlefield 1 didn’t deliver and battlefield 5 ruined the whole thing (first battlefield I haven’t bought since Bad Company 1)
Every time a Battlefield came out I’d hope it’d match BFBC2 but never did and now I see the direction Battlefield 5 has taken things I know nothing will ever match this legendary game.
It’d be nice if Xbox One and PS4 players could get the P.C version that had 16v16 rather than the version 360 PS3 got that was 12v12.
This game's sound effects are amazingly very- very Realistic and the best, campare to Battlefieldf 3 and 4. Bf 3 & 4: We feel like the soldier is wearing sound-proof headphones and cannot hear the full gun sound- echo, his Shoes and jacket's metal gears makes very minimal sound- kills the whole vibe of an immersive gameplay...
Bad Company 2's lighting is neutral and colorful, compare to bluish-dark- Battlefield 3 and 4.
Sniper's scope opens to the upper edge and lower edge of the tv screen, as compare to Battlefield 3 and 4's sniper scope opens to a small hole in center of the screen that keeps on wobling, making snipping stressfull.
Its Medic-Reviving animation and Knife-Melee animation is short & quick, that keeps the persons mind running for next move, compares to Battlefield 3 and 4's, which has long 3 second animation teaser- that kills the immersive gameplay vibe!
In Bfbc2, really made you feel like you were achieving something, like this map, I really loved the challenge.
BF1 I actually really liked, BF4 was pretty cool but BF5 was meh.
Now the only shooter I play mostly is Apex Legends. It's an entirely different game but the engagement factor mixed with the idea of teamwork and accomplishment strikes the same areas for me.
Still nothing comes close to the realism of tanks firing. The way they shift weight is so spot on, the throttling of the Abrams and T90, the trees moving from the turret blast.
