I’ve been listening to Twista’s music since 1998… As an AVID gun enthusiast… I absolutely LOVE this! Twista is a REAL gun dude… this is f**king AMAZING!
Wow! Impressive collection!! I love that he made sure not to "flag" the camera even after he confirmed the weapon was clear. I know you should always do that, but he was so methodical about showing off the gun and being 1000% safe
@@Osprey1994thanks for putting that term in a positive perspective! Like many, there was a time not to long when I knew nothing about guns including how to even shoot one. Even then, when the term “gun nut” popped up, most people would associate that term with an itchy trigger finger lunatic, but I always considered a gun nut to be someone who had their shit together.
What a beautiful collection. Thanks to James and Twista for showing us these impressive pistols. It underscores what I would get if money was no object.
We definitely need more interviews like this. Serious gun guys that you wouldn't realize were serious shooters. I am very impressed that Twista is a certified instructor and a competition shooter, not just a fan of guns.
Mad props to Twista for immediately showing that he had both excellent taste, excellent handling and excellent knowledge of firearms, firearm competition and firearm safety. Really going above and beyond to show he knows his stuff and is doing it all perfectly. It'd be an honor and a privilege to compete with him in a match. This man knows what he's doing.
Yep I remember hearing “throwing my money” for the first time back in the day! That was around the early 90’s damn how time flies. Seems like yesterday!
I work for GLOCK and shot USPSA on the SVI Infinity pistol team so it was good seeing a mix of both of my favorite guns! I have the only SVI built for a Texas Ranger in my safe that everyone loves to look at when they come over.
Yessir, keep putting Chicago on the map. Contrary to what the media says about Chicago, a vast majority of us are very well pro 2A and our politicians here know that. Hence the reason why they put into place that PICA unconstitutional law. We have a VERY Strong and large gun culture here. The violence that happens here is 99.9% coming from criminals with illegal possession of firearms. Not from the law abiding citizens. Again thank you TFBTV for coming out and showing the world on your platform a part of our lawful gun culture here in Chicago 💯💪🏾💪🏾
It's crazy😅if you think about it. I think we are one of the most legally (and illegally) armed cities in the whole country. Chicago could definitely give southern cities for legal gun ownership
I've never been into competition/race guns but it's really neat to see someone who is really into them hard core. It's something I never thought to pursue or maybe ponder the aesthetics of them... Love it!
I always liked Twista. He is talented and should have been given more love by the mainstream. It's awesome to see he's also cool when he's not performing.
James, .38SC is used in the top IPSC/USPSA Open division guns mostly because of 2 things 1; the rimless nature of the supercomp version of .38super means combined with the non-tapered case (9mm are slightly tapered) you can stack more in a magazine and have then feed more reliably so you will see people running 28-30 rounds in 170/171.25mm mags (maximum size for Open division). 2; the volume of gas produced by the larger capacity case of .38super over 9mm means you can drive more gas through a compensator and ported barrel so you have even more reduction of muzzle climb and felt recoil. When you are racing with pistols every single advantage counts and if you can afford the gun (plus usually a backup gun thats identical to your main one) and all the upkeep and replacing parts through wear & tear and all the accessories and allied equipment (belt/holster rigs and range gear etc) then you can afford the increased cost of .38super and .38supercomp. Any gun in Open division can run major power factor (as long as its 9mm or bigger, with minimum projectile weight restrictions; in the '90s people running 70-80gr 9mm at 2k+ fps were causing significant fragmentation risking greater change of injury and damage to ranges so in IPSC the limit is no lighter than 120gr).
I wish I could upvote this more than once. Love to you Twista, and double love to know you're one of us gun folks, training and competing, not posing. Plus James' short-shorts, my head explode.
This was a real treat TFB. Thank you. If anyone wants to hate on this its only from a place of jealousy. Stuff we would all buy if we were in that position cheers 🍻
James, thanks for that very fun video. Nice to see something we don’t get to see every day. Twista, man what a collection!!! And you are a true gun lover and certified instructor and competition shooter. You da’ man👍🏼
Im really excited to see a rapper thats truly into firearms. And hes good. Damn if he could convince more people to het into this as responsibly as he has it would be a glorious day
Love it! Seeing his passion for high end 2011 and competition grade pistols is so much fun (and impressive). Twista, if you ever feel like branching out to other genres, give a shout.
Man I learned something new today, I never knew my boy Twista was a comp shooter! That’s freakin awesome man, I grew up jammin Twistas music and now I have a whole new level of respect for the man! Skål 🍻 to you Twista
Great Guest today!! Wish you could have done more with the interview and shooting range talk with him. How he got into the collection, becoming an instructor, etc.
Best pistol collection I've ever seen... and it's TWISTA of all people? Nutty!!! I do love how everyone agrees they would pick the Glock up in a life saving situation.
I like the collection. Not my personal favorites but those race guns are so cool. I like that he has the varieties of calibers that too me shows a real interest in the nuances of fire arms. The man is a true enthusiast.
Finally we get someone to put James into the "just as good" corner like the rest of us poors.
😂
😂😂😂😂 funny
😩 😂😂
😂😂😂😂
You can't mess with Twista, he can shoot 8 shots from a 6 round revolver
In the old days people would find stuff like this funny and somehow put it into a video game as an easter egg. I miss those days.
Like The *R8* 😮
...and he can do it fast.
So cool to learn today that Twista is a gun enthusiast, shoots in competitions AND is a certified instructor! Wow! Great video James and TFBTV!
“Breaks like a crackpipe” James has been holding that line for YEARS and finally got his chance
yeah i thought no one caught that. wild 🤦🏾♂️
He said what 😮
Lmaooo I heard that too I’m like OH OKAY
Lmao I didn't catch it

Champagne taste on a beer budget! I feel your pain.
Yeah I used to think I actually had a pretty great collection, but then I just had to go diminish that thought, by watching the video.
Awesome to see he's a true gun guy. 😎

I love how a guy who's famous for being an extremely fast rapper can also probably shoot way faster than most people
Bro, that was sweeet. Thanks Twista for showing us your top pistol picks 👌. Someone needs to put him and his collection into a video game.
And Black Rambo
Canik for the poor lol
This was a collab I did not expect to see at all
Twista can rap so fast that it's really impressive.
He's been a beast since his name was tongue Twista on them back ally tapes
Are his guns as fast as his lyrics 🤔?
Yep I remember hearing “throwing my money” for the first time back in the day! That was around the early 90’s damn how time flies. Seems like yesterday!

Love to see the gun community embrace a black man. Bout time shout out to this channel they have had him on several times.
