Why can't they have a Northern Ontario Car Mechanic Simulator, where every nut/bolt is seized on from Ontario winters/salt. Takes breaker bars and stripping bolts to get one out!
PhishTV cant be stuck if its a liquid
Bill Jones salt aignt a liquid

Welcome to being a mechanic. Lol.
on the checklist click the stars next to them and it will highlight where each of the problems are so you can fix them quicker
squirrel if you click the littler star listed beside the part that needs to get changed it will highlight it, so you dont have to take the whole car apart to see which part which actually needs to be change
1) Wheels are always placed back on by cross tightening in a star pattern.
2) Brakes pads, drums, discs, shoes are ALWAYS replaced in sets, fronts or rears.
John Borchers it’s called a game.
TheBloxer - Roblox and more! It may be a game but the real way to fix anything brake related is to fix them in sets
Shaun Bulmer But it is still a game, they’re not gonna get everything right.
@UCqqpYYj-y%C4%88clYfHYmlS8_w None of that applies to this video game.
21:40 those camshafts were for a V8 but being installed in a 4 cylinder?
Could they make this a bit realistic? No garage would ever replace a disc and refit an old pad! Plus brakes are done in pairs, you can't just do one side without the other lol. Also when you buy a caliper, the cylinder is always already in there! Hurts my head.
That's entirely bull many slapstick big box mechanic shops either pad slap or get away with some crazy business aka reusing oil filters.... its a shame but I've seen it many times.
I’m hooked on this game!
This game teaches so many bad habits...NEVER use used pads on a new rotor. Always change rotors and pads in left & right pairs (4 at a time). It'd be cool if they came out with a version that required you to torque the bolts too.
They should also add hearing loss and lower back pain
@@pinkharmonica1312 they need to bring out some DLC... "Severe Lower Back Pain DLC"... "Effing and Blinding DLC"
why you dont use the stars in that list ...just click on it and all the damaged parts will show
Bought the game for the laptop, it looked like fun - 15 minutes later I'm getting a refund. It uses WSAD to move around, no arrow keys, and it can't be changed. I'm left handed and not about to re-learn my playing style. It's also memory hungry - 6.5GB of ram for what should be a simple enough game. It takes too long to load a game, Squirrel must have a beast of a machine to load games as fast as he does. It takes approx. a minute to get going. Moving around and clicking on stuff seems laggy too. My laptop is still reasonable (Core i7 with 16GB of ram & Nvidia Geforce 860M graphics) so performance should be way better. Oh well, I'll still watch the video's :D
Yeah, it's currently quite buggy. I was excited for it until I saw all of the bug reports
They've improved a lot in the past few months, in terms of loading times. If you want, give it a second try, it's quite good without lagging now (and I have a two core i3 processor and an old GPU, while running the game on an 31" 2560x1440 monitor
Laptops arent for gaming.
I know that it's only a game, but never change only one side of your car if it is brakes related. Brake disc even brake pads are always have to be changed in pair for both side of your car. If this game is called Simulator I would count, that it'll be automatic.
But it's just by the way. I love your vids Paul, keep up the good work. I'm subcriber since your ETS2 videos.
Squirrel, can you do more stranded deep, the bugs have mostly been fixed and I think you should give it another chance
950 quid to keep a 500 quid junker you own running or 5,000 quid to buy a new 4,000 quid junker... Hmm I know what I'd do...
Love coming home from the shop and seeing another car mechanic sim video ❤️. And also great job on the video
Yessssss been waiting for this since last night please do more because my summer car is getting a bit stale
Same.
Also could you make longer episodes like 40 mins long
Yeah that game is so dried out by now
I like watching squirrel play my summer car because he is "the" only youtuber who plays the game "properly" I mean not just messing about...
jamie churches he is playing it again
I started playing CMS2015 due to watching this (I had it for ages in my steam library and didnt bother d/ling it). Looksl ike they have improved alot of things this time around, but CMS2015 seems super grindy and will take ALOT of repairs to reach endgame (which you already mentioned in the 1st vid)
I hope CMS2018 is a bit better in this regard, otherwise this could be a very long series :D
Who else wants to see squirell drive that 70 tonne Volvo again?!
Hello Squirrel!
Will you be doing any more iRacing? I see that the videos did not do so well viewer wise, however I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed them and I`m looking forward to the next one.
Not sure whether or not you reply to comments but I thought I`d give it a shot.
Cheers!
manstafstevnav he uploads most of his iRacing stuff on his second channel SquirrelPlus as it's much each for him to export his long Saturday streaming sessions.
Hey man it's chris from ttv. I didn't know you played that game too. Thanks you saved me wit hthe last car parts, for the M3 gg
Some people got dragged to your channel with my summer car. Thats sad because all they ask for is my summer car.
Love your vids
Jamie Buckworth me to
I enjoy ALL the videos he puts out.
How do you go back to your garage from this garage please tell me i dont know how to
It is only the parts listed that have to be above that percentage
michael woodward yep but if you don't have a list then any part you find less than the minimum must be repaired
That's a negative. You only have to repair part that are flagged as broken (25% or lower or marked in red anyway). So if the threshold is, just to say, 45%, and a component is at 42%, you don't have to replace it because it's not broken, unless differently specified in the job order.
Really liking this. Good job!
Make this a series plz
some nice long ads watched for you there to squirrel $$ gotta be done!
I love my 2010 Hyundai i30 sport petrol 5DR :):):) fun to drive with stick and 152hp on tap with stick
Been watching this series on SquirrelPlus! I enjoy the playthrough and the "story" mode you do here. Keep it up Squirrel on the great vids!
Lol, just finished the last episode
k
With the timing job you had "repair with minimum condition of 100%" , yet you did not replaced all the things under 100%. How comes that the game accepted that?
I was watching slaptrain playing cms18 when a squirrel notification came , you know the rest ; I clicked faster than a guy running to the toilet because of diaria
*Hi Sqiuriel, when you get money can you fully service a car.*
*P.s Well done on the good work*
Do more of this!
I agree with the cost vs value you were saying. Our 98 sienna needed a new tranny which was going to cost around 3,000 after all said and done. We didnt do it and donated it to charity. Had 307,000km on it and was my daily driver. Bought a 2005 honda accord for around 3,500 and has been great since. It's even the same color!
Lol "Brake Caliper Cylinder". That is a Piston not a Cylinder, the devs. have some work to do with that as well.
Other noteable bugs to avoid: You can remove the oil cap and the dipstick while an engine is on the stand. DON'T DO THIS, as you will soft lock the game! The oil cap and the dipstick both have part condition values, but I have not found either parts for purchase, nor do I know how to actually remove those parts to repair them, as if you pull those parts in car, you will either fill the oil, or check the level, not store the parts in your inventory proper like everything else.
Typically, the customer pays for the labor AND the parts.
I don't why the oil cap is so strange to you, You have to remove the cap to put new oil in unless i'm missing something here.
Keep em coming.. love these buddy
Squirrel old chap. You can inspect the breaks without taking the wheel off you know;) might save some time. Still got more bugs than all the Starship troopers films put together.
One tip: The oil will automatically stop pouring when it has enough to be OK. No need to top it up. (Unless this has changed since CM2015.)
Have you thought about playing Truck Mechanic Simulator? You do a lot of truck driving simulating, but why not learn how to become a Truck Mechanic
Co-op would be nice on this.
Cheesy game if you can just go xray mode and all the 'bad' parts are lit up in red. A huge part of repairing anything is diagnosing and narrowing down what could be going wrong.
Brake systems are new parts only, what's this part worn bullshit, big NO.
WOAH YOU DONT DROP AND LOSE SCREWS IN THIS GAME????? what kinda simulator is this?
get the junkyard and find scrap cars cuz the cars at the junkyard are better give you more money and you can find better cars I just went saw that had a BMW I mean a Bugatti that they got from the junkyard
i got an asus laptop
Am I the only one that wants to be able to store the parts and tools? When I take off the item, I should have to store it on the table or the like. Is there another sim like that or am I just crazy? Looks like a great game though!
Please do more this game is awesome
Realistically if you were changing the brake disc you would change the pads too being the pads being worn and not being straight or flat.
Wait so you're not meant to take off every wheel, suspension piece and the exhaust and take apart the whole engine to find problems?
06 patch is terrible! crashing every time i finish a job.
hi squirrel. have you ever considered playing the long dark? seems like the kind of game you would like :)
Hi I was wondering what you use to record your videos because my viewers are requesting me to do omsi and euro truck for my youtube what would be good way to record of my pc
Well squirl I like it I want to see more is there a truck macanic simulater that be up your street
I do wish they used an effect other than rust to indicate the body wear, particularly on newer cars. Dented/scratched panels would work better IMO.
Well, each time I see Squirrel to take the disc off, then I always thinking like this: "Nha they are fine, just need to remove the rust. Now, where is my tool to do that" Untill I saw how much wear they have "Oh, never mind then"
That rust looks like, someone had a diarrhea and ran over with it on the car. Just look at the trim on the steering wheel. Not even a 50 year old car would look like that.
Georg1979 do You have Plymouth DLC of Car Mechanic Simulator 2018?
As always great video
hi squirrel just a small tip if you click the stars on the first list of items they are highlighted on the car without needing to do any tests
OIL FILTER! You forgot the OIL FILTER squirrel!
Not as "a thing he should do", but as a thing that would normally do, yes
What do you use keyboard ,steering wheel or a controller ? Where do you play it on play station tv or on computer ?
i like the game and i wanna buy it but 2 things im scared my laptop cant handle it and it seems there is bit to much bugs...
great stuff ! Now me being Mr picky time, i think you might want to do one wheel at a time or actually take notes on what wheel needs what, as i think you replaced the front wheel with all new parts when it only needed 1 or 2. in the end it didn't matter because the parts were still good.
Squirrel, the video versions are interesting and fun. However your streaming
versions of mechanic are somewhat boring.... I tried to watch last Saturday's
stream but I could not stay attentive and focus.... so as for me I will just watch the video versions.... Keep up the good work and thank you for bringing us joy and fun with your
other contents.(I do miss the ELK HUNTER game..and the fishing game you started...just to let you know ..)
Game sucks but video... das ist gut.
Squirrel I really liked Your reviews. (I checked out a few) You made me buy this game. As a real life mechanic I enjoy this thing. Reminding me to Street Rod 2 - if You remember that. The only thing is a bit wierd for me is replacing 1 brake disc instead changing in pairs....oh, and the radio. I really miss the radio from workshop. :D Keep up Your great job man!
Really enjoying this series please stick with at least to show off some of the more interesting late game stuff.
Thanks i was stuck on last one. Didnt expect them to throw an actual cam replacement at me. Im very shocked at how in depth this game truly is I LOVE IT
this series is awesome
What's better? Game Mechanic or Real Life? This one is less messy....
just got this game hopefully its good or else im buying my summer car in halloween
why is the screen for me black??
SQUIRREL stranded deep s2 what happened.
Now if only you could actually take a car apart that fast ;P
Hey squirrel you can find the broken parts by pressing the star button on the list
How come when i do this car and go to buy brake parts nothing shows up?
Hi Squirrel do you know that you can chance the name of the cat model.
I send you an mail on business@squirrel.tv
Greating Pierre
Why does the Mayen M3 have a 306hp N/A inline four?
I will buy this game ^_^ but only once the bugs are fixed
It should show a spanner whrn your uscrewing stuff bit unrealistic
you can also add parts to your shopping list (notes)
the wheel nuts may not be a bug. Very often car bolts have handed threads
Finish first episode. Check feed. New episode appears. I like it!
If I was 14 again, and had never been able to tinker with car mechanics, I would absolutely love this.
You can press the star near the items in info and it will highlight the parts
Great video's mate I don't now a thing about cars but I'm learning. So fun to watch keep them coming.
Hmm a very nice game for a carhead like myself, thanks mate👍
Is there a recording schedule of this planned yet or did i miss it?
Well, *now* this game looks really decent! It became so much better since the previous ones, in almost every way.
External Camera? Mind blown! Didn't know that!
Squirrel when you have a list of parts like here 13:18 you can press stars next to the components to highlight them.
I know nothing about cars and i really wanna play that game.
Is it possible for people like me to actually play it and not just get lost instant?
Do you have to have knowledge about cars to play it?
If you have a or some knowledge about cars then it will help big time. But generally, no. For the most jobs it does say what that needed to be changed, if they dont... Then there is the over veiw thing where it will highlight what parts that need to be fixed, or that are bad. But if you want to try the game, then I hope this will help you with some of it:
*Anything about brakes* (All from brake problems in the system, or to disc or pads that are broken): Always on the wheels. There is 2 - 3 "modules" in the engine room, which is to the brake system too. ABS "block", head or master cylinder
*Anything about driving comfort and stability, as well handling* : Suspension and/or streering. They are normaly on and around the wheels as well some (Streering) is in the engine room, which you can come to unscrew from under the car.
*Anything about power or engine problems, as well exhaust or "loudness"* : Engine in the engine room, and/or fuel, which normaly only the fuel pump which is around the engine, or the fuel tank. And exhaust pipes, which are from the engine and under the car
*Anything about lights or electricity promblems* : Battery, generator and/or wires. Battery is normaly in the engine room and the generator is on the engine. The wires (if the game has it) is all over the car
*Anything about gearshift or clutch problems* : Gearbox and the clutch, which is between the engine and gearbox, where the flywheel is.
*Anything else, or related to the body* : Car body and so on, with the rest.
The game can help to teach you about some of the stuff on a car. So it is a great starter if you want to be auto mechanic
Daniel Jensen Are you danish?
Great vid, thx
Gearbox jobs are always the best way to get a lot of money off the start
realli nice videos like always, your videos are awesome and fun and your streams to. keep with the good work.
I demand anyone who works on my car, complete "car mechanic simulator" on the hardest setting!!!!
DA SQUIRRELS NUTS 😂🤣
Your old channel name was so funny
