I Can't Believe They Demolished this Unique Abandoned House!!

- The Santa Fe Estate
This abandoned Santa Fe style two-storey mansion was built in 1969.
After the owners passed away the home was sold for just under $6,000,000. The house sat for a little while and then was completely gutted right down to the studs. This may have been done after the owner was initially denied a demolition permit for the building. Since then new demolition and building applications were submitted and approved. The mansion was then demolished about a year later.
The home has been again listed for sale at prices ranging from $8-$23 million and has yet to sell. When the property was listed for $23,000,000, this would have been for the newly constructed mega mansion that has been designed for the lot.
That current building permit allows for a 17,000 sq/ft mansion, with 5 underground parking spaces, 5 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, elevator, home theatre, sport court, a pool as well as other amenities.
Would you prefer to own the current Santa Fe style house or the proposed mega mansion, let me know your thoughts in the comments below!!

Wow, what a terrific place! I'm saddened to hear this was demolished. We are such a wasteful species. I can't believe this wasn't enough for someone. It's a shame.
Ya quite surprising given how i retesting the home was. Glad you enjoyed the tour and thanks for the comment!!
I agree this is a beautiful home I would definatly live in it it always can be decorated to your taste but sometimes different is unique I think it gives character
This was certainly a no expense spared mansion. Fascinating to walk through it with you. Just the ironwork was mind blowing, let alone everything else! The workmanship, though outdated, is top notch!
Shocking that there wasn't any vandalism.
What an extraordinary waste of money and materials, soon to be replaced with yet another extraordinary waste of money and materials.
Heck of a world we live in.
Cheers James!
Oh i completely agree, it was a very solid house and i really enjoyed the decor. Dated...I'll take a home decorated in the 60s over anything modern, hands down. Plus that way you don't have to spend money trying to keep up with the Jones' every 10-15 years. Still so amazed anyone would want to demolish this house. Thanks for commenting!!
The best location you’ve ever filmed. Beautiful home! Solidly built. Move in ready. Sad it has been destroyed for new cheap architecture.
Great find!great video.
Glad you enjoyed it so much Jan! You know, this house is really is one of my favorites too! Thanks for the comment!!
Troppo bella per essere demolita, perché mai 🤷
Why demolish this big house well if no one want to live in. I have seen the front load washer and dryer for free that any of you do not want them 🤗
Don’t you know that was a spectacular home in days past. It’s still in very good condition. They spared no expense in the building materials. What a shame it was demolished. I hope they donated the materials to somewhere like habitat for humanity. Imagine being able to get these treasures. I’m always baffled at people that never seem to have enough to satisfy them. Thank you for showing us this “used to be” magnificent home.
You don't have to tell me it was spectacular, i loved this house! 😆 You are right i could tell how well built this one was and whatever replaces it won't have nearly the same quality of construction. Thank you for commenting!!
Hi James
This is one house that never should have been demolished. It has so many cool features.
That indoor pool was one of them. That pool table was huge. You called it something else
but it looks like a pool table to me. So many bathrooms. One for each day of the week.
Rich people sure do know how to live. All the fireplaces were incredible. The kitchen was
nice too. A really cool video James. Thanks for taking us along on this explore. Stay
safe and well.❤
Glad you enjoyed this one Irene, it certainly was a unique place! Yes, it's called a snooker table, pretty much a pool table with a few minor differences. A bathroom for each day of the week. Lol Thanks very much for the comment Irene!!
I agree they should sold it to someone else the house is beautiful ❤
I'm surprised they would want to demolish it... so much of the decor and setups are so original. Surely SOMEBODY could have salvaged a lot of it 🤔😕❤️
They did gut it before demolition, so maybe they salvaged some materials during that process. But i agree, can't u see stand the desire to demolish a house like this. Thanks very much for the comment!!
Beautiful job done on this video. What a GORGEOUS home. Thank you for sharing your adventures. ❤
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks very much for the comment!!
What a house!! Awesome is the word. The fireplace was beautiful. Wrought-iron door--so attracting. Wood carved doors. Can't understand why that house was not enough for someone. Loved the tour. You do an excellent job showing the houses. Thank you. 😊
I just don't understand either, there seems to be a real hatred towards old things these days. I personally blame our faced paced society but who knows. Glad you enjoyed it Sharon and thanks very much for the comment!!
Probably one the most unique abandoned house I’ve seen ! Thank you for capturing it before it was gone !
Very unique indeed and glad you liked it! Thank you so much for the comment!!
Hi James! I am absolutely lost for words. There have been videos in the past where I have really struggled to find any words because the places are just so unreal but I honestly don’t know what to say. This place was incredible. I cannot believe it was demolished. The basement was my favourite part. I know someone who would have loved that snooker table. In answer to your question I would definitely take this place over whatever will replace it and do it up to make it my own
Glad you enjoyed this one too Stephanie, it was quite a special location, can't believe it is gone. Thank you very much for the comment!!
This place has (had) a lot of character. I _really_ dig that indoor pool room and the winding stairs cases. R.I.P. derelict mansion.
It really was an impressive house, glad you enjoyed it and thanks a lot for the comment!!
WOW! OMG I cannot believe this place!
Incredible!!!!!
I’d definitely take this place!!!
Thanks for sharing!!
Right, such a special location! Glad you enjoyed it and thanks very much for the comment!!
How did I miss this one? I'd seen this place done before but not with the details you covered. I really like it. I'd wake up every day and my metabolism would kick in just looking around. That massive bedroom with that mammoth bathroom and closet; apparently the owners enjoyed their material comforts.
Every space is an adventure. Well built with top materials. Really good video.
Yes that main bedroom with ensuite were quite impressive! And the basement would be great for when guests were over. Don't know how you missed this one Dan but glad you found and enjoyed it! Thank you very much for the comment!!
I'm surprised but I loved most of this house. I found it unique and interesting as well as beautiful with most of the floors and lighting and fixtures as well as wallpaper and the color schemes but my favorite was the iron used in the house and wood. Just a mixture of all kinds of styles.
It was not boring and for me grand and special home. Kept me interested in the whole house but the first floor was the prize for me 🎉.
Thanks for the video I really liked this one a great deal. I am sad it is no longer wanted 😢 as a home or it's style.
The iron work is what surprised me most about this one, it's not everyday you see that sort of thing in a house. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks a lot for your comment!!
Love this place. How the other half lives and still wanting more. Thanks for the look 🌞👣
If only half the population had that kind of money. 😆 Glad you enjoyed it SD and thanks very much for the comment!!
Hay James, This was One very Cool Party Pad for sure! This is one of the best ones I have seen yet. Thanks so much for what You do! Stay safe out there! Cheers!🙏🏻👍
Ah glad you enjoyed it DC! I can imagine there were some happening parties in that basement. Thank you very much for commenting!!
Hey SS! Yes I definitely enjoyed this video! For being built in the 60’s, it certainly was kept up. So clean. I’d love to know who decorated. That home had everything. Party place for sure. Thanks SS
Yes, it seemed to be meticulously well maintained. Glad you enjoyed this one CK and thanks very much for the comment!!
Love the added bloopers at the end of all your videos
Thanks Lisa, really glad you are enjoying the videos!!
It’s very disappointing that this house is demolished but the bright side of this is that maybe one day this house is going to be fixed and good as new again
Thank you for the comment!!
Hi James👋🏻,
I really enjoyed this tour of this Spanish style mansion👍🏻. I feel the SAME WAY that you do I DO NOT see a GOOD reason to demolish this mansion. I see absolutely NOTHING wrong with this one but maybe whoever bought the property decided to demo this one and build something completely new. I really DID like the bathroom with the black and white and gray tile in it. I thought that was a nice touch. There was also a good sized pool as well that was pretty good👍🏻. Good thing that you DID find that “secret room” in the basement because I like finding things like that. Thanks for the great video of this mansion and see you in the next “Static Space”.
Absolutely, there was nothing wrong with this house at all. I still after years of doing this find it unbelievable that people will buy a house and tear it down just because they like the location. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks very much for the comment!!
Wow this is one of the best if not the best houses I've ever seen I love I love this is the it's the best I might have seen one before in the beginning but this one is outrageous love it I love I love love love this one
Well, i'm glad you enjoyed it so much! Thanks a lot for the comment too!!
21:50 This is hilarious, but the mobile home I lived in from the time I was 8 til I was 22 had a cabinet just like that in the bathroom! It's still there!
Wow, that is quite surprising! Thank you very much for the comment!!
I’d live here in a heartbeat! Loved it.
Glad to hear it and thank you very much for the comment!!
Static Spaces thanks for sharing this awesome video with me i really enjoy this kinda of videos i hope you will join me like i just joined your channel and this video is awesome about I Can't Believe They Demolished this Unique Abandoned House!! and God Bless.
Thanks a lot for the comment!!
I just discovered your content. I'm not new to watching Urban exploring but your content is some of the best I've seen. You are great at what you do and the grace you do it in. You don't embellish or assume a back story and you treat the places with respect. You are a great story teller that gives enough info but delightfully leaves one to wonder. It's so profound to see the personal lives of others as they lived. I hope you stay inspired and keep it coming. Thank you!!
Awe thanks, that really means a lot to me, glad you found my channel! I'll definitely be trying to stick with it and thanks a lot for the comment!!
Wow the house is beautiful I would prefer this house and change it the way I wanted it
Ya, it certainly has more character than the new one will. Thanks very much for the comment!!
Seus vídeos são incríveis amo❤parabéns que casa deslumbrante sem palavras
Love both bathrooms
James this place was amazing . That black and white bathroom was beautiful, I thought the kitchen would have been nicer then what you see.. not impressed with that at all . Thanks for showing this amazing house ..
Ya that kitchen was a big letdown compared to the rest of the house. That black and white bathroom is popular, a lot of people really liked it! Glad you enjoyed and thanks very much for the comment Gail!!
I would have the mega mansion the one you were walking around in the video is absolutely beautiful I would take the Santa Fe for a 54 year old mansion she sure has grand style
It had style alright and seemed to be really well built and maintained too! Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the comment!!
Essa mansão e muito linda uma maravilha 👏 toda florida tudo de luxo e um espetáculo amei ❤️ uma paisagem maravilhosa 💓 parabéns pelo seu trabalho
Thank you very much for the comment!!
Awesome Bathroom
Wow !!!!!!!!! what a beautiful house I have seen this video so many times through different explorers and it is very unique and it's very sad knowing that the y demolished this beautiful home 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😂😂😢
It was definitely a popular location and rightfully so. Thanks so much for the comment!!
The walls of that first bathroom were awesome. Sad to know it was all destroyed
Agreed, that was such an interesting bathroom. Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks very much for the comment!!
Beautiful Staircase
Stuck in the 70’s extreme. No expense spared in building the house. It would take someone a fortune to de-70’s it. Enjoyed your video. Nice house but I’d never want to own. Not what I need.
Ya but why would you want to "de-70s" it? I mean, isn't that the point of a house like this. It's definitely not for everyone though and i understand that. Thanks very much for the comment!!
I would prefer the original over the proposed house.
Glad to hear it and thanks for the comment!!
James, do a video about how you find these homes, how you get into them and please show some more shots of the exterior before you jump in to the interior.
I could definitely mention in a video how i find these places. I will also see what I can do about adding more exterior photos as well. Thank you very much for the comment!!
That was AMAZING beautiful place , I could do with out all the mirrors! But still beautiful, thank you for another video love from naples Florida
Seriously though, who wants to see that much of themselves on a consistent basis while taking a shower or a bath. 😂 Glad you liked it Samantha and thanks a lot for the comment!!
That's true I don't want to look at myself taking a hot bath. Lol
Lol my small house growing up could fit in this large house but I do remember thinking we were very high tech because we had an intercom system and a central vacuum system like this house has😂😂
This is definitely a large house plus not many people have indoor pools or a sauna for that matter. Central vac and an intercom system were not all that common either! Thank you so much for the comment!!
Static spaces ? What does that mean?
This was the most Gorgeous house I've ever seen. I love it...!! It's such a shame they had to tear it down. I know it's not what people like today, but to me this house was way more beautiful than the houses that they build today.( boring house ) lol!!😀 The only thing I wouldn't like is having the swimming pool and the sauna in the house. I'd rather have it outside and the sauna in a pool house. The mildew seems to always be a problem when people put the swimming pool and the sauna in the house. Plus, I love the swimming pool being out in the sun shine.
I remember when I was growing up in the 70's and the Spanish look was the thing. But this Gorgeous house is off the charts with beauty. Or it was. That's sad. 😥☹️
Thank you for sharing this video. I'm going to save it and share it.
Static Spaces, well it can mean whatever you want it to I suppose but in an oversimplified way, abandoned buildings I guess. I agree with you about indoor swimming pools, they certainly can cause problems with mold etc. But I think because this home is in Canada and get maybe 4 months of good swimming weather, I can understand why they would want to have it inside. Glad you enjoyed the tour and thanks so much for the comment!!
@@StaticSpaces , oh yeah that makes sense about the weather in Canada. I didn't think about that. 😃😉👍
COOL 😎👍 💯 HOUSE... ✨🏡✨
Glad you enjoyed it Brian and thanks for the comment!!
Beautiful home, it's a shame it couldn't have been saved...
Really was, I'm just glad i was able to visit so that i could show you all. Glad you enjoyed and thanks very much for the comment!!
unique is an understatement!
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks a lot for the comment!!
Well, this was one of the neatest houses I've seen. So much character with the iron, stained glass, faucets, glass doors...I was in love with it before even seeing the pool. I hope someone saved what they could before it was demolished. Such a shame! I wish I would have counted how many times you said, "wow!" You weren't wrong, this one's going to haunt me for a while.
Haha ya, i did say wow way too many times. This was one of my earlier videos where i was still learning. Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks very much for the comment!!
This was one unique mansion. Too bad it has met the bulldozer. Why couldnt they just renovate this. Darn McMansions eh. Id prefer this with a little fix ups here and there. Its a great size and corner lot. Love it. That pool room is amazing. Another great explore JH 😊😊. BIG HUGS.
A little too big for me but the amenities are nice! Definitely a shame to see this one go. Thank you very much for the comment Kimmy!!
I love all the layout and the details in this place James ☺️
Glad you enjoyed it Fawn!!
You are welcome James 😁
Super nice. Great video. Thanks for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the comment!!
@@StaticSpaces I like your videos, just found you, so I'm watching older ones. Crazy. Lol
Well i am glad you found me and are enjoying the content!!
Wow i love this house. I can't believe it's going to be destroyed for McMansion trash to replace it.
Ya me too, it certainly had style and a uniqueness about it. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks so much for the comment!!
Love this house very beautiful I will take this house over the morden house that is going to be going up
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks very much for the comment!!

Thank u
James so the mansions gone now how sad no taste for character these days. The place reminded me of ye ole Spanish Club back in 90s it got that venue look like it wanted to host parties and events. The banister to basement is very place of business like perhaps they were running a brothel or swingers. That indoor pool was ginormouse. If the mansion was still around and i was in the area i would picket in front and stop the wrecking ball on this one but hey daddy warbucks wants a elevator house and places to park the Rolls. Thx for the tour
Ya, now that you mention it, it does kind of have an event venue feel to it. I would imagine it has been the place for many parties in the past. Glad you enjoyed this one Michael and thanks for the comment!!
It wad a beautiful home. I love your videos.
Glad you are enjoying the videos and thanks very much for the comment!!
Great explore. This home is amazing, such a shame it was demolished. It did look like it had a serious mold issue. I noticed on several walls it looked like the green mold was starting to grow and spread. You asked if we would want this house or the new one to be built, and I would have to say the new one. Even though this one is great, there were several things that I would have to redo. Anyway, really enjoyed this explore.
Glad you enjoyed this one! As for that green mold, I'm not sure how big of a problem it would have been, it didn't seem to be that extensive. I would also imagine it's not as toxic as the black mold you see in so many places. Thank you for the comment!!
I would have loved to had that home so beautiful but the kitchen just did not fit with the rest of the home but it was beautiful kitchen stay safe
I completely agree, that kitchen was so out of place in that home. Thanks very much for the comment!!
Absolutely beautiful! I wonder if you or any of your viewers have any hypotheses about why abandoned houses are so attractive to us? I find myself viewing as many abandoned explorations as I can, and wonder why? It seems to fulfill a need, but I don't know what is the need. Any thoughts, anyone?
I think the reasons will differ for everyone but a very good question. As for me, i just enjoy architecture in general and i also really like the quiet that usually exists in these buildings. Thank you very much for the comment!!
Hi Nanette!
I think it's rather like exploring old cemeteries. We wonder about the people, their lives, their deaths. Where did they come from, and under what circumstances. We consider what their dreams were, and ponder if they ever fulfilled them. We try to imagine who built the place, whose home it might have been, how much work and pride did they put into it. What did it look like before it began to fall apart, unloved. Humans are just naturally drawn to history, and abandoned homes are about as personal as it gets. For me, at least!
Cheers...

Nicely said Marian!!
That is a beautiful place!
Glad you liked it and thanks very much for the comment Khono!!
That is an amazing house,, so sad to see it go,, I would take this one over the new one,, thanks for showing us before they tore it down
Completely agree! Glad you enjoyed it and thank you for the comment!!
Mold remediation and a restoration over demolition. Hope all that beautiful woodwork was salvaged.
I agree. Glad you enjoyed and thanks for commenting!!
Can't believe it, what an amazing find! such a waste in the end too.
Ya, it was a really unique house for sure. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the comment Greg!!
@@StaticSpaces of course man. I actually watched on my computer instead of tv!
Nice! I mostly watch on my phone. 😆
Wow its beautiful
Sure is!
I don't feel bad for anyone who would buy this beautiful place just to tear it down an build some bigger monstrosity... and it doesn't sell. This home you are showing is more than enough and it's sad to know it's gone.
Yes, i agree. The property will eventually sell but at that price point there aren't a lot of potential buyers, so it may be a while. Thanks very much for the comment!!
@@StaticSpaces That house was amazing! I know I wouldn't be able to afford it but wish people saw potential for homes instead of trashing them.
I completely agree
Very nice too bad they demolished it seems like a very nice mansion love the rooms
Definitely was a unique house. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the comments!!
Beautiful
Glad you enjoyed the tour and thank you very much for the comments!!
OMG! That place is gorgeous! I would take it in a heartbeat! It’s my dream to have a large indoor pool like that!! Not too crazy about the wallpaper choices though. I find them a tad too dark for the dark woods. I liked the tree one but I think it would’ve been better as an accent wall, opposite the window with the same pattern curtains. The fixtures were breathtaking. Loved the stained glass windows. The master bedroom has a closet to die for! I’m not much of a fan of fireplaces but I did like that one. If I had had the money, I would have bought it myself! ☹️ So sad to hear that it is going to be demolished!😢
I can't even imagine having an indoor pool in my home, certainly would be nice in the winter though! Glad you enjoyed this one KS and thanks very much for the comment!!
Hi James 👋 Wow what a wild looking wallpaper 😳 Great find too James and I love the staircase too ❤️ This place is amazing and I can’t believe no one is living here 😁 Bring the house to me 😂🤣😆😅
You know i like my wallpaper and even then i still don't think it was my favourite part of the house! Lol Thanks for commenting Fawn!!
You are welcome James and 😊 And I do love those wallpapers too😆🤣😂😅
I WANNA SEE THE PLACE THEY BUILT WOW... 😯
They haven't even started i don't think, they need to seel the empty lot first. Thank you!!
Wow!!!
This makes me sick that they are going to tear this house down.
Thanks very much for commenting!!
It has a Mediterranean feel
It really does!
Beautiful sad it was demolished.
Really was such an interesting house. Thanks a lot for the comment!!
Oh my gosh the iron work in this house (not sure what to call all the rod iron) it is beautiful. The stairs rails I love . The wall paper is so in your face, I don’t know if I love it or hate it lol. The basement looks like for strictly entertainment A man cave if you will. The bath rooms were crazy Bold comes to mind lol. From the pretty marbles , the floors even the drapery seems so sad to demolish it all. Wouldn’t it be fantastic to repurpose the nice materials . The stained glass too.
I agree with everything you said about this one and now that you mention it, the basement does seem to be a bit of a man cave. I think they likely did save a lot of the materials since the house was completely gutted before the demolition, i mean, why do all that work and not keep them. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the comment Cee Cee!!
i love this house.
Can't blame you for that! Thanks a lot for the comment!!
I'm not really a fan of the style of architecture but I love the layout of the house! I would have to tone down the bathrooms - except the black & white one, that one was gorgeous!!! The jetted tub was incredible - I'd be in it all the time, after removing the mirrors lol. I'd love an indoor pool, especially one with a diving board. I will never understand why they demolish places like this. It was very pretty even though I'm not in to wrought iron inside a place. I want to know where you can get drapes to match your wallpaper - I love how it made the window blend into the wall. Great explore James!!
It is definitely an eclectic interior decorating style and not for everyone. Personally i really liked all of those bathrooms. Ya those curtains that match the wallpaper are not common at all, i would imagine they were custom made or maybe just available from high end design companies. Certainly makes the room feel a lot more seamless. Glad you enjoyed the video KMF and thanks very much for the comment!!
I love that house. It shouldn't have been demolished. I don't like new construction any way.
Me too! Ya the new homes are pretty ugly and a bit sterile for my tastes. Don't think they are built nearly as well either. Thank you for commenting!!
I would have loved that home too bad it got demolished very sad, some people have too much money
Ya there is a lot of this sort of thing going on these days unfortunately. Another really nice home gone forever. Thanks very much for the comment!!

This is such a waste, a terrific waste. I grew up with a pool in my home as my sisters and I tried to swim. Um, my home was nice but nothing like this home. For me. it is just a waste and I wish something better could have been done for humanity instead of tearing this down. Thank you so much for showing us this marvel.
Oh wow, i could never imagine having a pool inside the house, then again i am not a big swimmer either. Would still be a nice thing to have though! Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the comment!!
@@StaticSpaces @ the time it was I suppose it was great as each of us, swam. Honestly, I probably would not ever do it again, as to have something like that in your home becomes very expensive especially when there are 5 girls. I still do not know how my parents did it as my Mother did not have to work outside of the home only at Christmas it seems. (MACYS) My Father had a good job, but the pool was so expensive. Now of the 5, 3 got scholarships to swim, and the other 2 (me) did not. One of my sisters still has the home, and we all share the expense of the pool. I was just there today, and I kept thinking about the home in your video, please please keep the videos coming. Blessings, Reid!!
I will most definitely keep making videos...just fyi there is at least one other location i have posted that has an i door pool as well. Yes i can imagine it would get very expensive but sounds like it was a good investment since 3/5 got scholarships. Pretty cool that the home is still in the family too!
I'm sorry, I'm new here, but if it was "gutted down to the studs" what are you showing us? Don't get me wrong, I Love, love, this explore. what an amazing place!

Hi James : Looks to me like a member of the mafia built that house ! No taste but tons of money . In my opinion , can't be demo 'd soon enough ! Can see why it was unsellable !
Wow, i thought everyone would like this house but i understand, not everyone has the same taste. However i could totally live in this house if i had that kind of money. Thanks very much for the comment John!!
@@StaticSpaces You are most welcome James ! No way to busy for me . That wallpaper was God awful !!!
It does seem wasteful to demolish this, but some properties have appreciated in value so much that it doesn't make financial sense for the owners to retain the older, lower-value buildings on them - especially if they'd require major restorations and updates anyway. I'd say most buyers don't want 70s style decor everywhere, even if it is cool to look at it in a time capsule I think living with it is maybe a different story.
IDK, i would gladly live in a house that looked like this, it's great! Wouldn't want the expense of an indoor pool though. You do make a good point though, most people look at a house like this and think demolition is the only option. One major reason is some people just have so much money that dropping $10 million plus on a home is no big deal for them and those are exactly the buyers that move to that area. Thank you very much for the comment!!
This place was torn down because of greed. Greed over history. It's an amazing house...or was.
Certainly was an amazing home! Thanks very much for the comment SG!!
I’d rather have this house
I'm not surprised, i think only one or two people so far have said they would prefer the new one. Thanks very much for the comment!!
Green Mold!
Ya, that certainly was odd to see!
👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
What a waste! I liked the black/white bathroom and the swimming pool, to me I can’t believe how people can put so much time and money into a house that size and then leave it. All in all I liked the mansion.
Glad you enjoyed it. The original owners sold it but the new buyers only wanted it for the land, which is pretty crazy in itself. Thank you very much for the comment!!

I wonder how they got the snooker table in the basement.
You have to bring it in disassembled and then put it together in place. It probably had a slate surface and those things can weigh 300 lbs a piece. Once the table is assembled the felt needs to be added, all this is done by professionals, it's probably not cheap. Thanks for the comment!!

Beautiful house. Too bad it was demolished. Why build a mega mansion and it will probably be abandoned because whoever owns will not be able to keep up with it's upkeep.
Better it doesn’t go vandalised , such a pristine place!
Agreed, it is a beautiful house. I think the root of the problem is that people today think that old is bad, maybe it's because we are so bombarded with new things all the time. I would imagine if they can afford to build or buy a brand new house that size that they can afford the maintenance, but who knows, maybe they don't realise how much it would truly cost. Thanks for the comment!!
Agreed, I'm glad this one never had the chance to get vandalized.
I hate vandalism just as much as I hate litter bugs.
Me too!
There's nothing boring about this house. i really am going to stop viewing these beautiful abandoned places because it just infuriates me to hear that these places are being demolished.
Ya i get that but at the same time, if they didn't become abandoned then you may not have been able to see them in the first place. That's how I look at it anyway. Despite that is still disappointing to see them get demolished. Thanks very much for the comment!!
Sad
Thanks for commenting!!
I wouldn't want either of your two choices. I'm happy with my modest living place. I'll spare you my feelings concerning developers.
Ya, i get it and agree. Both of them are too big for my taste but at the same time, this one was pretty incredible. Thank you very much for the comment Bill!!
Kitchen wasn't impressive at all
I know right, what a let down that was! 😆 Thanks a lot for the comment!!
