Why ?
I’m just curious as to why they can’t have any raw Demo gameplay released. Like all they gotta do is record one guy playing the demo and release it.
I won't pre-order until they do something similar to CD Projekt Red with Phantom Liberty. Have a bunch of publications and social media influencers play the game.
Not gonna lie, it looks like it was hit with a downgrade.
It won't be released until Q1 2024.......and people need to stop talking about graphics or you'll get more Unreal engines with higher costing games

I Love STALKER ♥
i care less about mega ultra realistic graphics and flashy effects and more about the aesthetic and art style of old stalker being present. even small things like the way the HUD looks now and how the old Font is gone, it removes alot of the stalker "feel" and "style". also stalkers story has always been great, im not sure that itll be as interesting this time. i mean if im understanding this correctly did someone re-enable the scorcher? Marked One already turned it off in Shadow of Chernobyl. so why are we going backwards in the story rather than going forward and doing something new. they couldnt come up with anything interesting so they were just like "Lets re-enable the scorcher" ? and also at the very end, where that one guy is speaking on the roof. i guess the person they killed was Strelok? really? so rather than using Strelok for some interesting story or maybe Major Degtyarev, we instead just kill Strelok? 😭 i mean maybe theyre talking about some other person, but you know. in many ways it feels more like a Metro and Escape from Tarkov than Stalker, feel and aesthetic wise.
Antes de empezar, lamento profundamente, el fallecimiento en combate de personal que estuvo involucrado en el desarrollo del juego, eso ha retrasado también el lanzamiento de S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 para la nueva generación de consolas, dicho eso, he jugado los 3 S.T.A.L.K.E.R. y es de lo mejor en FPS, en inmersión, idea original, etcétera además de padre espiritual de Metro y Escape From Tarkov (sobretodo en su sistema de administración de recursos y equipo), el mejor de los 3 S.T.A.L.K.E.R. es Call of Pripyat, por lejos, redondito y con final en medida de méritos y acciones, logré sacar el final muy bueno 💪, aunque el primero tiene su gracia también aunque con muchos glitchs... el segundo mmmm.... lo dejaría de último, ojalá el nuevo quedé despues del último, que tenga hilación y concordancia de personajes, me gustaría ver al Mayor, Sidorovich o a Marcado por ahí, en fin, excelente análisis. Yeah same i have really low expectations today, this is not same era and they are not staying true to original game that much... It will be probably really disappointing underwhelming... I think so with the more i see... And feels very arcady, anomaly is 1000x more immersive it seems... It looks simplistic... Even so yeah UI and not staying true to original style/atmosphere which they definitely could have is most warning sign for me, that it won't be just same game very much, but like modern crappy remake... What it made it good, it is hard to replicate today...

To give you a example of the state of the game... Here is a quote of a guy who could test the demo:
There is a certain type of cloaked enemy that I couldn't hit with my shotgun blasts from less than two meters away, and although I questioned whether I might not be using the right weapon for it, the GSC developer next to me insisted that I could kill it. The reality was that the enemy shot me down and the game crashed, putting the character into an endless loop of death animation that the game didn't come out of until someone restarted the powerful PC I was playing on. There was no way to restore the game, so I had to restart the demo. But the PC crash and restart error happened to me three times in the 30 minutes of testing for various reasons, and I can assure you that the look of circumstance on the developers' faces clearly indicated that this game was something they still wanted to show off.
Lemme guess... A new engine 5 title extremely demanding who will only relies on upscaling technologies and frame generation to run at 60 fps still with fps drops
thats gaming from now on, i dont like it more than you do but the sooner you will accept it the better for you, nvidia said it, AMD also leans this way too.

The newest and most advanced games have always been difficult to run at launch, even with the best hardware. Why do you expect different?
@@DaboooogA sorry to expect developers to do their job and have games be optimized like back in the day. im not saying stalker 2 will be unoptimized, i didnt play it. just arguing to what you said. its devs job to deliver functional games. if their stuff aint working alot of people arent gonna buy their games.

I know ima enjoy it but it looks alil different then the previous gameplay trailers I seen
This looks a biiiit rough around the edges and the gameplay seems a bit lacking. The guns should feel and sound a bit more sharp /realistic imo.. since the world and the scenery is. But again , i hope the gameplay is fun and the music and vibe is creepy like Resistance games was but just more gritty and dark.

Yes they say that they downgrade the graphics for this demo because of framerate issues and thats why the game is reported again to polish that

Ощущается конечно также допотопно, как будто ты спустя лет 7 после релиза первой части смотришь на геймплей. Растительность только чуть грамотнее сделана. Но.. как уж есть, что смогли- то запилили.

Yea I’m big on games that give us the option to customize the hud. I only like to just see my health bar everything else is off lol
Don't worry. Even if they don't, modders will add it. It will have full mod support, and since the original games still have a massive modding community, you can rest assured that this will too
i dont see any different betwen anomaly and stalker 2.... but i still hope for progres.

Le downgrade est énorme (syndrome ubisoft), ça n'en finira donc jamais cette pratique qui consiste à vendre du rêve, ce genre de trailer pour créer de la hype devrait être interdit. En espérant qu'ils vont améliorer cela mais au vu du gameplay présenté, c'est inquiétant pour la suite.
Alors je vais pas les défendre ce trailer est moche et ils ne savent pas faire de la com'. Mais en tt cas la demo proposer était créé exprès pour la gamescom, les devs ont parler dessus en disant quil y avait plein de fonctionnalité qu'ils ont enlevé dans cette demo pour ne pas trop en dévoile et ont dit utilisé cette demo pour avoir des feedback des joueurs et changer certains aspect ( par exemple la fumé pas trop belle qui sort de l'arme va être revu)

This got TURBO DOWNGRADED the difference between the first segment of the video vs the rest is huge, we all get they are working under very unusual and unfortunate contitions, but damn it hurts. Let´s just hope it´s just the console version vs PC...not very optimistic to be honest.
I played a demo and it looks good maybe not as the previous trailer showed but still good by today's standards, definitely better looking than anomaly/gamma mods, also atmosphere is there as before so that's most important things, if something missing mods will be made

actually there are 3 stalker games. Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl, Stalker: Clear sky, and Stalker Call of Pripyat. theyre calling this one Stalker 2 but its actually the 4th game in the trilogy. the first 3 games was all a one connected story and I guess the reason this one is "Stalker 2" is because this ones story will not be as tied to the story of the trilogy. it still happens in the same place and the same universe though - so if you dont play the first 3, you will be missing some history and lore. but like i said they probably want to make this one in a way where a new person can hop in and enjoy it - as evident by the fact that in the beggining of this video, the protagonist talks in a way as if he knows absolutely nothing about the place hes in. so he represents the New audience who will learn of the world through him just as he does. so i guess youre fine. but the first trilogy is amazing. u dont need to play Clear Sky if you dont wanna, thats a prequel to Shadow of Chernobyl and it had some problems, bugs in some areas where game crashes alot. but Shadow of Chernobyl , and Call of Pripyat are really good, Id recommend them. Call of Pripyat is the Best. but youll be missing some context cuz CoP's story follows after Shadow of Chernobyl's story.

@@DamakriaStudios have fun. i would probably recommend the "Stalker Complete Mod" it fixes some bugs that were left in the games and improves graphics abit. there is a Stalker Complete Mod for both shadow of chernoybl and call of pripyat

Without the Internet, Stalker and Metro Exodus are being developed
Download some special files and change them in old files for the Stalker game

Despite the graphical downgrade, it still looks visually amazing, and ensures that most people can play it - anyways, just like regular stalker, people will likely make texture packs and use shaders to improve the game quality so honesty I am still very much excited for the results given this trailer

@@zaczeen1121 truth is nowadays nobody actually cares about graphics. i just hope the game is fun and lives up to the stalker name. but i dunno, in my life many sequels to great games ended up being disappointments. so im not having my hopes very high. anyways, the people saying "downgrade" in the comments are cringe. i dont come to stalker to look at grass and leaves. i come to play. but i feel like the old stalkers had somewhat of an art style to them. a certain feel, an aesthetic. something that is seperate from "graphics". i dont know if it still has that.
Hopefully they releasing it with Raytracing.

I think you're gonna be dissapointed, it's a Stalker game, not Anomaly which is a mod for Stalker. It will probably be focused on a linear story, like the other games, with an optional freeplay mode. But don't expect a lot of the features and freedom of Anomaly. Personally I want a big focus on open world with a well made story, basically the best of both, but if I had to guess it'll probably be closer to the originals than Anomaly.

Сталкер 2 пишется на DX-10.
Оружие и стрельба отвратны. В-остальном сделано с оглядкой на Метро.

@@The_SSSlopperdude. We are on the ps5 and xboxsx generation and this game uses UE5. The first thing that we want from a next gen exclusive games are next gen graphics. Shut up
And not only that, the fact that this game clearly was downgraded indicates that the modern consoles just cant handle the power of the UE5, and this is a really bad sign for those who spend their money on next gen consoles expecting new and exciting technologies
