      Str8OuttaCronton @adventureselfrelience stalks us all to thumbs down us lol. Ironically the thumbs downers are just another view and interaction to boost the views so the only thing missing is a comment to help me hahahahaha.

      Str8OuttaCronton no mate I looked into it and UA-cam just sees a view and then see that the vid had enough of an impact to get an interaction so the more likes dislikes and comments the higher up the recommended list you get. That’s why controversial vids do well.

    Great vid lad. I've been following you for a while now, thought the BFA was a bit silly at first but she's coming together beautifully now. Well done. Everything you've got installed so far adds purpose to the wagon which is exactly what I'm doing to my 110. If you're getting rid of any bits you should post on here (I'll buy and I can source you parts not necessarily on the commercial market). Keep up the great vids lad 👍🏻

    Love the rig! Question, Is there a dvr or video system that you could connect to it via your phone or computer/tablet ? What is your current monitor viewing screen type or make used now for the cameras? Great channel mate, Regrettably not in a financial situation to be a patreon as of yet. I'll have to steady send my moral support and appreciation for your vids!

      SAR Dan at the min it’s a stand alone 4cam system with a screen where the rear view should be but it’s getting a dvr that goes to the tv in the rear and a new monitor in the front. I could link it to the phone but I don’t need that.

    A self sufficient home on wheels ! Magic stuff, but only with much effort and cost and imagination and all the while informing folks here on yer ideas. It's very much appreciated and i only wish i had the likes years back when i had to spend the bones of 9 months in the back of a hummer in a combat zone ! At present i'm on the verge of homelessness and will be moving into a caravan and gladly so, no problem there for me ! I will be lookin around shortly for a Land Cruiser panel van to convert to somewhat of a camper/bug out vehicle. Just got the low down of the rules of conversion from the DVLA today. If you know anyone who has done similar i would appreciate a contact, it would save a lot of hassle. I'm a prepper and need to get my act together most ricky fkn tick, i have a lot of gear but not the wheels. I've been watchin yer channel since day dot and will return the compliment when things get flush. Take care lad ! Oh and fuck the begrudging trolling sad fucks, i wipe me arse with the likes !!

      @@Bugoutvehiclesuk Yeah, amongst other things they will consider a panel van and the commercial LWB cruiser is classified as a panel van. But your right they want it to clearly look like a camper, with an awning , seats, table etc but it leaves too much up for interpetation to the authorities, subjective in other words. Do you know anyone who has done the conversion that i plan ?

    Compared to video's from a couple of years ago, your truck's REALLY coming together now.
    Started off as a bit of a "fixer upper" but now you've got something that you could park at a show and other people are going to look at and be inspired by.

    Your biggest critics probably don’t have a camper of any description. I wanted a 110 but bought a friend’s Freelander. I put BF Goodrich KO2 tyres on and it drives fine on unsurfaced roads, but more importantly it has the Webasto heater so warms up and demists fast and is great on winter roads. It won’t do anything too difficult but is warm and comfortable for my five year old little friend who sits in the back colouring when I’m driving her and her mum around. The sound of a happy child singing to herself as she’s colouring is priceless. I might not be able to drive all the places I’d like to, but I’d rather have the entertainment in the back than be on my own wading through mud.

    I’m being challenged now about the legality and insurance disclosure of these, by a garage any ideas?

      Major Clanger the lights need to be stamped with the right marking and the beam pattern needs to be right but very few ppl are that fussed unless you get a strict mot tester. Transfer boxes are usually solid but it’s a good excuse to get the ratio you want.

    If you are reffering to the mud mirrors according to the landyzone fourm they arent that great thier extra size makes them move around on the mirror arms and loose thier point of reference pretty quickly. Might want to try getting the mirrors they have on the un and wolf ambulances they have bigger ones that attatch to several points of the door. Like old lorry mirrors.

    Having a Bug Out vehicle in the UK is like having an ocean liner on a small lake. If a true bug out situation were to actually occur, you want to be as inconspicuous as you possibly can be, and in most cases an extended cab pick-up truck to a preplanned destination is all that is needed. You will need to be prepared to do most of your traveling on foot, off the main roads and away from people as much as possible.

    That vehicle has a problem, 29:00 in , from that angle you can't see your Poppy.
    Honestly I am Khaki with envy.

    Good luck to you fella , and very well done.

    Why not fabricate a 1.5 inch extension box head end and feet end ? Youd hardly notice from the outside. (Ref sleeping diagonally)

      versatec1 I did look at that but it’s no issue for me as it’s a decent size bed.

    Hi Steve from Suffolk UK 🇬🇧. I have the same 127 land rover made in 1994 and come out of service 2004 and still has the v8 and I'm getting about 14 to15 miles to the gallon on petrol and it also runs on lpg. I have had it for 10 years. My question is did you put the side door in or did it come with it as my one didn't have that door?

    • @Bugoutvehiclesuk
      @Bugoutvehiclesuk  3 роки тому

      If you look at my vids you will see the install of the door. I think it was about a year before this vid

    Good informative video Rich, your vehicle is obviously a practical machine. I will have a look at the Olight site as I have a penchant for LED torches (unfortunately I have spent shit loads on cheap ones over the years). Personally I love Maglites but sometimes there is an argument for small, high output torches that aren't also built for bludgeoning people to death with!

      GateKommand hahaha can’t fault a d cell. Deffo catch the plights when they are on sale cos they knock big chunks off.

    200tdi because ? Also it don't stick out near cover it would blend in m8 3300 what PD or euro also tyre size slightly bigger would give better ground clearance ay ! Looks good bob

    • @Bugoutvehiclesuk
      @Bugoutvehiclesuk  4 роки тому

      bob anderson 200tdi because I got a 200 disco running and driving at the right money. 3300kg full with all tanks full and gear. The tyres are 265.75.16 so same diameter as utility board and military and any bigger the big wobbly bus with be terrible on the motorway. It cruises well at 65-70mph and isn’t bad off road for the size so it’s a good compromise

    How can anyone dislike this, it’s a personal vehicle modified to someone taste, if they didn’t like land rovers why on earth did they watch it. Rich have you upset someone?
    These two comments aren’t a criticism just if it was mine,
    I honestly think the only real thing I would change is to add some sort of swing away dual wheel carrier on the back instead of hanging them on the door, add a lot of weight but I’ve seen rear door hinges on an 88 and 90 twist with the weight of the spare.
    The only thing I would add, is an external quick release gas fitting so you don’t have to lift case bottles in and out to use them.
    I do like really like the paint job.
    I’m glad the firms are wanting to work with you, 2 minute plug to get a huge give away increase channel numbers help pay for better kit, spot on.
    Keep up the good work rich.

      wizardorlegend I get minimum of 6 thumbs down on every one the funniest one is an ex friend of the group called adventure self reliance who stalks our vids. I’d like the swing away but I’m already up to weight and with the body being coach built the doors are much stronger than Land Rover doors so are working well. Thanks pal.

    Might be fun in the front but from experience riding in the back is vomit inducing! Not sure why riding in the Snatch or a soft back was never a problem but in the Ambulance, no, not very nice at all.

    • @Bugoutvehiclesuk
      @Bugoutvehiclesuk  4 роки тому

      it drives way better than a snatch and with a tonne of kit plus modern suspension its not bad.

    1 thing I would recommend is a pully block for the winch to if your ever stuck stuck you can double your winch and pull anything out and with a thin diameter rope would be a small and light itemx unlike the ones we use that weigh more then 75kg
