  • For many people the teeth looks brilliant white from the front, but in the back side, they are brownish or dark yellow. Of course no body sees it easily. So are you fine?
Definitely not. Tartar is nothing but plaque, which is left to buildup over a long time. This plaque is full of bacteria. So the tartar which is very hard acts like a concrete house for bad bacteria. This growing bacteria can get into gum lining and cause gingivitis, gum diseases and other health conditions including heart diseases and heart strokes. Yes there are chances.
    #tartar #tartarremoval #plaque #oilpulling
So we should get rid of tartar as soon as possible. Fortunately, there are some effective natural remedies to get rid of tartar. Lets see them
    1. Chewing Sesame seeds: Simply chewing sesame seeds is one of the safest and healthiest way to get rid of tartar. Just take a little of black sesame seeds. Black sesame seeds are more potent, has more calcium when compared to white ones. Happily chew them until it produces oil. The sesame oil then mixes with saliva which is superb remedy that breaks down tartar, dissolve plaque and build tooth enamel. Keep chewing them for 5 minutes and let it flow through all the teeth and gums. After that swallow and drink a lot of water. You can do this anytime during the day.
    2. Chewing Fennel seeds: Fennel seeds help to get rid of the food debris stuck on your teeth. When you chew fennel seeds, it increases saliva dramatically, that clears away bad bacteria causing plaque and tartar. Chew a teaspoon of uncoated raw fennel seeds to get rid of plaque and tartar buildup.
    3. Oil Pulling - Oil pulling is ancient remedy that is practiced still today. Even scientific studies confirmed that it is a magical remedy for oral health. It has ability to heal gingivitis, reduce plaque, tartar, heal bleeding and swollen gums. It works on underlying root cause.
Fortunately, it is very easy to do oil pulling. Simply take 2 teaspoons of sesame oil, coconut oil or olive oil. To that add 1 tablespoon of water. Swish for 5 to 10 minutes gently and slowly. Then spit out. That’s all, you have successfully cleared bad bacteria. Well, don’t eat anything upto 30 minutes after doing oil pulling. You can do this daily or on alternate days preferably as last thing before going to bed.
    4. Guava leaves - I came from a place where you can find one Guava tree in every street. Currently, I don’t have access to the guvava trees. But if these trees are growing in your country, you are very lucky. Just take 2 tender Guava leaves, clean them in water and chew it for 3 minutes. It gives a lot of juice which mixes with saliva. This easily dissolves plaque and kills bad bacteria in mouth. After 3 minutes, spit it out and rinse with fresh water. This is one of the best ways to keep your mouth free from tartar accumulation.
    5. Orange peels powder + Baking soda + Salt : Finally, one hard way to get rid of stubborn tartar. Just take Orange peels. Chop them into small bits like this. Dry them in sunlight for 2 to 3 days. They become hard and crisp like this. Just grind them to get a coarse powder.* Take 3 tablespoons of this powder. To this add 1 teaspoon of baking soda. 1 teaspoon of salt. Any type of salt works.
Just mix them all together. Now, take a little amount of this powder. Wet your brush. Dip it in this powder and brush gently on your teeth where there is tartar.
Well, don’t try this method for more than once a week. Because, orange peels are slightly acidic and baking soda is a mild abrasive.

I can't say how thankful I am for your information. My front teeth enamel was nearly gone due to hard brushing. I used black sesame for one month once a day and it did miracle. My teeth are not only got whiter and healthier but also start to building enamel and repairing themselves, which is very expensive by dentist.... if they can do it at this quality at all ...... I will definitely keep using this method. Thank you again and I wish you the bests to come on your way.🙏🙏🙏

This is most interesting - thank you so much! I have now done the black sesame seed chewing for two days. I am amazed how clean my teeth feel afterwards. I found on another site that after chewing, you get even more benefits if you brush your teeth with the seed pulp still in your mouth. I saw my dentist about a week ago and a filling fell out during the exam and he put a temporary one in - I have to go back in about 3 weeks' time to get it fixed permanently. While I was there he mentioned that I have a little tartar which he will deal with at the next visit. I shall be very interested to see if he notices a difference now I've started the sesame seed treatment!

Thank you for the information. I made an appointment at the dental clinic. While waiting, I purchased dental tools/hygiene kit from Amzn. A diluted mixture of baking soda and fine salt softened my tartar (don't want to give the proportion bc I didn't follow what I read online; more baking soda than salt in warm water). I gargled & just let the mixture sit in my mouth for 10 min or a little longer; did it 2x in a week before going to bed. Three nights before my dental appointment, I used my scaler & was able to remove the tartar easily. I canceled my dental appointment and give the slot to my son. My daughter has been wearing dental braces. Well, I'm just happy to cut dental expenses. SMILE.

unfortunately, while you may have been able to remove some of the tartar, it is nearly impossible to remove nearly all of it. remaining tartar can lead to gum disease. Scaling the teeth properly is not something you can do yourself, even dentists can not properly scale their own teeth. I recommend you go see your dentist for a thorough cleaning

would white sesame work? i have a hard time getting black. I've had total crap teeth all my life no amount of flossing, brushing, special mouth wash, or even prescription level toothpaste has helped. I've even changed my diet to limit sugar and acidity foods. I still have constant problems, lots of pain, and big dental bills. I'm pretty sure by 50 I'll need dentures.
