For me, I would have to recommend the first time Brook plays Bink's Sake after the defeat of Gecko Moria. The flash back to when the Rumbar pirates are singing never fails to make me cry. The audio in that clip is simply amazing.

All the rumbar pirates singing together and slowly dying is one of the saddest moments I have ever watched in anime, it's an incredible scene.

oh yeah. vivis voice actress screamed her HEART out. like i genuinely was afraid for her voice a few times there. it made her desparation really believable!

Merry's funeral you have to genuinely watch from the start of the burning to the end because part of the feeling comes from the memories of their meeting to that moment

So the cool thing about that last clip is that there is audio right before it. There's music, there's Luffy yelling at Croc, telling him to stop, and then it just cuts out when Luffy gets stabbed. It's so well-done. Sucks that the clip started after the audio cuts out.
A set of scenes that I think are severely underrated are Garp crying to Ace and Garp Taking Luffy's punch. Those moments had me choked the hell up.

William D. Skinnypenis Nordwrench, I *IMPLORE* you to watch Bink's Sake's adaptation in the anime. I've seen the manga panels and i tell you now that the way they executed the "gradual collapse" will genuinely break you.
Bink's Sake is already the saddest backstory in One Piece, but if you haven't seen the anime execution, you're gonna be pleasantly surprised.
The crocodile moment unlike a lot of anime-manga comparisons is that it spends more time developing the scene
You know this actually explains why Jack always rolls you in the GeoGuesser videos... the One Piece color palette is pretty distinct per art as animation teams and directors change so using pictures from the anime gives Jack a massive advantage.
Tbh, for a person like you, with little to no animation experience (atleast that i know of) you explain these scenes and what they mean, suprisingly well! like even as an animation student like myself, i didnt notice some of the things you pointed out, keep up the good work man!

I gotta promote WCI the sad moments really hits really hard for me and also the musical aspect really goes well when in audio form :
-Big mom song introduction
-Sanji's backstory espetially when his lock down in the prison
- the all Sanji vs Luffy fight ( btw about this it's a two parter with the first part with mainly just flashbacks and it may annoy some people but I think it really pepares the ground for the heartbreak and especially the happy montage on the first endind at the end which hit like a truck when compared to the present)
- Sanji being betrayed by pudding and his heartbreak by the window is MASTERFULL
- Sanji running towards Luffy in the claring ( it's a relativly small scene but I like how the deseparation and speed of Sanji is portrayed)
- Sanji and Luffy's reconcilation it's beatifully orchestral and emotional
- finally The end roll / Soul pocus song on the last episode. I really like how it concludes the arc and also show that it's not a usual arc that ends with victory but that shows the people left behind just to get to escape.
This is one of my favorite series on the channel. You should definitely make a part 3.
Bro you should've seen the Crocodile clip started just several seconds before. The music is going crazy, Luffy is screaming at Crocodile aaaand boom, we cut to red and the music just comes to a sharp halt. It's amazing at communicating that we are halting this climaxing action, shifting the tone to something deathly serious (pun intended). After all, it's the first time Luffy really loses, at least that hard since he escaped Smoker before anything serious happened.
Oh and for Part 3, you should react to Luffy's final jet gatling against Rob Lucci.
If you like Crocodile voice acting you should react to the moment in impel down when they meet again its just INCREDIBLE:
Dub version of robin saying “I want to live” is gas, I know you already saw the sub version in your last vid but the dub version just goes so hard.
Croc definitely has one of the greatest voices in One Piece, both his laugh and his deep voice. You should definitely check otu the moment they reunite in Impel Down! It's SICKENING!
Jimbei reminding Luffy of his crew post Marineford is a really good scene. Also Fourth gear transformation and Sabo eating the Flare Flare fruit as well. Franky walking into the factory after beating Senor Pink, Luffy freeing Ace, and last but not least Luffy beating Crocodile and Eneru.
Glad to see you enjoyed these scenes! The only other one I can think to recommend is Jimebi's blood transfusion for Luffy in Fishman Island. Such a powerful and emotional scene!
For a part 3 you should watch binks sake flashback, doflamingo and luffy’s conqueror’s clash, momo telling zunesha to get rid of Jack, the walk to Arlong park, the straw hats holding up their x symbols for vivi and Karoo, and for a funny one there’s them climbing up zunesha’s leg at the beginning of zou
ooooh bro that last clip....like, thats art. alabsta was full of memorable moments in the anime specifically, and just the sound design of complete silence, crocodiles SEXY ASS DEEP ASS voice, the sound slowly coming back in with the sounds of the sandstorm in the back....oh man, its perfect. you cant help but sit there like :OOOO
i personally also LOVE LOVE LOVE in episode 126 i think, when luffy finally beats crocodile, they play dvoraks Symphony no. 9, which is just SO cool and SO epic, i get goosebumps everytime. the final shot of the episode i think is vivi declaring the fight over, and the last bittersweet notes play....its honestly so sad that they dont use classical music like that more. because it just really feels like the conclusion of a whole.....oddysee honestly. SO GOOD.
i hope maybe you could put that into a potential part 3, because it really really is iconic.
i can't believe no one has mentioned Afro luffy, or the entire foxy vs luffy fight. Most of it is really well paced and it's some of the best animation i've ever seen

I believe that you would also enjoy the last fight with crocodile in Alabasta, the music they have used there is just perfect.
shanks stopping the war, zero cutting pica, pel flying the bomb up in alabasta, and luffy and katukuri using their conquered hoki together are all great moments.
Zoro vs King and Luffy's first transition into gear 5 with the drums of liberation sound track would both be awesome.

You should do the scene where dadon beats up harp after aces death
Some scenes: Zoro vine swinging in Skypeia and Luffy's song in the same arc the voice acting adds to the comedy, Brook's flashback final rendition of Binks Sake in Thriller Bark, Crocus' Intro in Reverse Mountain in the anime is funny, The walk to Arlong Park/Nami's cry for help, There are a few anime moments I'd recommend from Whole Cake Island.... but to play it safe I won't since I have no idea where in the arc you are.
12:20 Alabasta Arc in Old One Piece Hits Different My Favorite Scene of this is Zoro vs Mr.1 the Final Technique of Zoro's Lion Strike is one of the Coldest, Silent and Most Badass Fight i saw in Pre-Timeskip One Piece 🔥🔥
Nami asking Luffy for help is one of the strongest vocal performances in my opinion.

The raid to onigashima is a real good one too
One of my favorite moments in the anime to this very day is Luffy finally beating Crocodile in the climax of Alabasta. Admittedly, it's largely because the music and voice acting in that scene is incredible, more than anything specific about the animation itself.

-castoff ceremony before entering the grand line
-literally anytime one of the strawhats says luffy will be king of the pirates
Nami finally asking luffy for help in Arlong Park into the walk to arlong park definitely gotta get into the next video. That one hits way too hard in the anime
You kinda started watching the Merry scene after the best moment. The "I'm sorry" of Merry always breaks me omgg
the merry's death would have been more impactful if you had started from the point where luffy does a small speech before he sets the merry on fire.
The song that follows just makes me cry everytime

A personal favorite is the end of Sabaody, where Luffy is powerless to save his crew from Kuma.

If you get to the Arc after Whole Cake Island there is 1 Fight that only works in the Anime because of the Goofines
Kuma separating the crew at the end of Sabaody and the Luffy vs. Usopp fight over Merry are worth watching!
u need to include luffy singing on skypie as an honorable mention that shit is comedy gold and not something you can really experience in the manga

The scene of Katakuri stabbing himself is fucking incredibly done in the anime, all of the shots are done for perfect suspense and the coloring and animation of the impact are beautifully done.
Actually, while I'm suggesting this, the Totto Land introduction song never fails to give me chills, its like a dramatic and dark Disney orchestra lmao
Edit: Okay, actually, in Wano, the entire scene of the Onigashima Konjiki Kagura is genuinely impeccable. Its fucking movie level production and its one of the most mesmerizing scenes in the entire show C:
