A rain stick is a long hollow piece of wood full of beads with a bunch tines stuck inside. When you turn it over the beads fall down and hit the tines and it makes a sound like falling rain.

That wasn't an old man being creepy... He thought Leslie and Anne were lesbians and was doing his best to support them, even if it was misguided and a little clumsy.
Yeah, he tried to be supportive but being commented on and hugged by a stranger like at 8:20 would make most people feel really uncomfortable. He crossed multiple personal boundaries and that makes him a little creepy 😄
It's pretty funny how Parks and Rec has like 3-4 of the ABSOLUTE best couples ever presented on Tv. And *none* of them are even hinted at in Season 1. Pretty much all the relationships, official and teased and otherwise, in season 1 are arguably the most painful part of the show, lol
@@kungfubrandon68862nd season is where it gets good tbh! I think season 1 can be a painful watch when u realize it gets better but also at first watch for me it was like the funniest season
