I live in a rural area, surrounded by woods. I take walks almost every evening on our dirt road to escape the life we as a species have built. It's very relaxing hearing the birds and the wind blowing through the trees. While I don't feel contempt with my life so far... I know what I want to do and am striving for it. Greetings from rural Ohio.
How Beautiful, You absolutely have the Tree Spirit (s) in you. Tree's are magnificent and can teach humans a lot. Feel proud Blair for being a spokes person and Dr. to the Trees. 🌲🌳🌴🌿🍁❤
Just a different world. I choose to live in the forest. Some people fear the forest. Some people are too afraid that the trees might fall or a fire might destroy them. True but I choose the forest. Thanks
Scientist Suzanne Simard discovered that trees feed each other -- and communicate with each other -- through their roots. The stronger trees sustain the weaker trees; the older generation sustains the younger generation. They are social organisms -- somewhat like us.
I've heard you say you're in the Santa Cruz mountains. Are you near the Shirley Temple Black estate? A family that grew up with my Dad owns it now and has for a long time. I've been up there in those mountains and love the perspective.
Everything is connected. If mankind could only see how simple it really is. Take a deep breath. Where does our oxygen come from? Why are the woods the most critical part of why we can live. Why does man destroy the very thing that gives him life?
@@arboristBlairGlenn to be honest, most oxygen comes from the sea. There was a huge extinction called "the great oxidation". Loads of anaerobic bacteria died due to oxygen being emitted into the atmosphere. The rest clung to life in places such us deep inside our bowels. So if we aren't careful, we too might have to crawl up some creature's ass to survive.

Live in the woods if you can

Beautiful job, Blair. We live in a rural place, surrounded by trees that I planted. I have gentle contentment. Thank you!!
Then you understand
Amen 🙏!

Your place is so beautiful! You look out on the world from above it. You are so fortunate.

The cloud movements were circular, almost like a whirlpool or eddy.
Amazing when we see things from a different perspective or time frame. Makes sense now.
I like that, and have shared.
Thank you
Important message!

But ahhhhh😊
@@arboristBlairGlenn Sounds of resonance!

Some people get it. Some people can’t see the forest for the trees. Some people just fall asleep.
According to the bible, even Jesus went to the woods when he knew his torture approached. Even God seeks the trees.
