When he suddenly teleported to the Infinity Castle, he didn't know what urgent situation would occur, but instead, he laughed excitedly just because he enjoyed killing demons. as simple as that.

The master has a special power when he speaks btw. They mention it earlier in the anime that he makes people feel comfortable for lack of a better word so that’s part of the reason muzan couldn’t feel his murderous intent. The children playing also threw muzan way off along with how seemingly non threatening ubuyahiki looked so it was a perfect trap.

AOT cliffhangers relied more or less by keeping the basement out of reach,, so much, you just expect it. Cliffhanger on the crusade, "ok were getting out for some world building." Cliffhanger on the human form of the beast titan... "ok. We knew there would be a human coming out of there." Cliffhanger of making it to the sea. "Ok, now we gotta take the fight across seas." AOTs biggest impacts happened during the season,and gave you a breath toward the end. DS built the season up to the end, building that anticipation, then it just cut. like the end of a chapter on a good book, it doesnt make you want to stop. Whereas AOT just teases you a bit at the end, to keep the story interesting, after already doing something breathtaking. @sonyasilohar

this ain't a spoiler, as you should know this but I'm glad you caught up on the fact that Muzan's attention was only to Tanjiro this whole time, and obviously at this point in the anime you should know there is a legendary swordsmen who lived centuries before who almost ended Muzan that Muzan fears as you said his ''earings'' so Tanjiro looks like ''that man'' so that's why Muzan is only focused on Tanjiro who possesses the same earrings as him. Im excited for the infinity castle arc and over the next arcs you will see more about this mysterious swordsmen!! As a manga reader, I'm finally glad this masterpiece is getting animated.
