I like my potatoes salad just right after it's made and it still warm! I like it cood too. I'm 65 and back when I was a kid, on road trips a lot of time we would have potatoes salad sandwiches. One slice of bread with a little potato salad on it folded over like a hot dog. I still eat it, as an adult!

    Thank you for the recipe.
I'm going to start randomly picking a country every month and attempt to make a recipe from that country.

You should definitely do that. I do 12 countries that starts with alphabet A-L for 6 months. it makes meal times very fun and introduces your family to new dishes and you get to talk about the country and culture whose food you are eating.

Excellent Anjelica!! I love these and your recipes here are pretty much how I make mine. I LOVE a slightly warm Mustard Potato Salad! It comes from making it right before eating it. I actually prefer it to cold 🥰 Once I made a picnic for me, my kids, their friends, and some cousins of all of the summer salads, plus some of my own creations people have never heard of. It is amazing just exactly how much people LOVE these summer gathering salads, whether at home with a small group, or out with a large group. However, it took some care to be sure they stayed cool outside in Texas (all that mayonnaise, eggs, and keeping cheese pieces from melting in things like Pea Salad and Macaroni Salad), but Texans are prepared for such things!
I think I had 17 or 18 salads! The ones you have made here, plus Broccoli salad, Garlic Corn Linguini Pasta Salad, Cracked Wheat Onion Mushroom salad, Cole Slaw, Spiced Pear salad, Spiced Peach salad, Pickled Beet salad, Chicken Salad, Jalapeno Tuna salad, Carrot Raisin salad, Apple Walnut Celery salad, Egg salad, Crab salad, Blackeyed Pea salad, Israeli salad, Fruit salad. It could have been a Country Barn Wedding! LOL
Oh yeah, one I make with cooked Artichoke Bottoms, Roasted Brussels Sprouts, Grilled Asparagus, Avocado, the deepest center hearts of Iceberg and Romaine, Grape Tomatoes, Red Onion, Bleu Cheese, and Toasted Cornbread Chunks. It may sound weird, but boy is it good!! Everything is chopped into the same moderately sized chunks (1"). And none of these include any of the many great Mexican Salads or salad-like dishes. I think all cultures just love salads.
I won't even extend this by getting into the pies, but there are many wonderful easy pies!! Especially, for summer, picnics, and just a quick home dessert for busy moms 💖 Great video Anjelica!

Absolutely love that you get every bit out of the smaller bowls for the mac salad. It makes me cringe when I see people waste so much food.
*Adding about a tsp of baking soda to the water for boiling eggs, the eggs peel easily!!

Thank you for sharing your recipes ❤ you cook just like I did, I always cooked for my whole family usually 25+ people. They are all passed over now. Just me and my children and grandchildren. Now I’m old and sick but love Mexican food! I like spice and flavor just not mouth on fire food. I have never learned how to cook Mexican food but would love to. I’m lousy with the computer and would love to buy your cookbook! I don’t know how? Secondly I can’t use cilantro it tastes like soap to me, so I use parsley. Thank you again for all you do Blessings to you and your family 🙏🏻❤️🌹

I’ve never heard about adding a little water to bacon as you cook it to render fat. I’ll have to try that. I love baked beans and I use that same brand. I have a large family to cook for so I use three large cans. We like ours sweet so more brown sugar please and more bbq sauce. The pan sausage makes them so delicious!
Girl, that corn looks so delicious with that sauce that you made! My family will love it!

Question...my family is from Hawaii and I love macaroni salad but no one has ever showed me how to make it!! Lol. I thought that a little white vinegar was needed to the warm macaroni then cool before adding the mayo mixture? And yes, the little bit of tuna was always a part of it.

Teaching kids how to follow recipes is wonderful! Where’s the garlic ( a lot) and pickles?I love red pepper and the pickles would be dill based. When making corn bread muffins or such,I don’t add sugar,,,,maybe jalapino or cracklings ,why add sugar?bacon grease is great and tastes better . Love smoked paprika !that sauce with the ear of corn “ smelled” delicious tonight. Omg! Thanks so much !

For anyone that has a problem with msg you should stop eating cheese, tomatoes, etc... it's a naturally occuring thing.
