Hey, yall! This is Marc, one of the 4 people at Ohma World. Thanks so much for checking this out. We're also excited to hear how Jeremy puts our mics through the paces. If anyone ever has any questions about our mics, sounds, or company itself please give us a shout anytime. We're always happy to dive into details or just nerd out on anything audio related in general.
Hi Marc, Just wanted you to know that I am ordering the RIBBON as I am typing. It will be used in a new music video. Thanks to Recording Studio Looser for showing us this unique mic.
It looks utterly wonderful and sounds pretty good, but to be honest the constant clonks in this video got pretty obnoxious, I can't see any shockmounts for sale on their website and I feel like I'd have a lot of difficulty finding a shockmount that that would fit in. Which is a shame. I hope they rectify this and start producing some, because it seems like a really odd oversight.
Would love to see side-by-side comparisons of different screens and different sound sources. Or vs. a similarly-priced standard (TLM102?). They sure look cool!
What would you say compared to the/VooDooVR2--se-electronics-voodoo-vr2-active-ribbon-microphone? 499$ price point. Just curious if you have worked with this one yet?
Listen, your comment completely misses the point. The video showcased a great microphone, and the diverse background of the company owners is a key factor in its creation. Brushing it off as "virtue signaling" is presumptuous and implies you know my own background. Of course, we should judge microphones based on their quality, regardless of who made them. But it's frustrating that I'm somehow not allowed to describe the hands that made it as a contributing factor to its uniqueness. We're trying to have a genuine conversation here, and it's time to cut the dismissive attitude. Let's start appreciating the value that different perspectives bring instead of trying to shut them down. Or, move on.
@@RecordingStudioLoser So you are telling the @brothertoughlove that you are trying to have a conversation here, but then tell him his part is invalid and to cut out his dismissive attitude? An opinion you don't like is the other part of the conversation. Your "let's start appreciating the value that different perspectives bring instead of trying to shut them down" is so full of irony it nearly breaks the internet.

these look awesome can't wait for more videos on them
This is really cool. All industries have been moving away from modularity/repairability, this is very, very cool.
Great as always! Those look rad🤘
Hold the wedding! Need mic.
Very cool!
Wow
can't wait to hear if it sounds as good as it looks
I have a Neumann TLM 107. It is a edge terminated mic. Sounds great. Really wide!
Wont diff patterns result in different polar responses?

Hey there! Our mics work great with the standard Rycote shock mounts. They do an awesome job of shock absorption and fit most other mics too.

I have a JZ mics vintage 11 which is supposed to close to a 102…
Can you make a video on what mics are best for acoustic guitars? That'd be great love the channel
I think you would go further ahead if you didnt have the word Loser attached to the name, just my opinion.... theres great power in words
It keeps me grounded.

Just need a microphone that sounds good. Virtue signaling doesn’t improve the sound but thanks.

Are you... being offended because a brand tries to create a decent work environment ? WTF is wrong with you ?
