Please make as many of these as you can lol. When the Wii shop was announced to close and because of the PSN Store closure scare, I spent a good month or so compiling as many potential games that I would buy on them before they were gone. I bought as many as I could and while I couldn't buy them all, I at least gave it one last good effort. The same thing is happening again.

@@FromTheVoidGames Not that we should need to, but the Wii is one of the easier consoles to hack. Out of the ones I have, I rank the PSP the easiest, Wii second, PS Vita third and PS3 the most complicated to hack and maintain. The only hiccup I had for the Wii was picking an OS, but the rest is pretty light. I have no idea about the handhelds, though.
@@FromTheVoidGames i took myself an entire day on the 3ds e-shop and checked virtual console, below 3€,demos,exclusive(download),cartridge/download and all other sub categories, i found more games that i am interested in, Super Mario Kart for example, i could play it on the switch for freee but the 3ds sounds better tbh, i NEVER played a kirby game before and in the span of 2 days i bought kirbys adventure wii aka kirbys return to dreamland, blowout blast and triple deluxe
I heard that the ability to add points went away the day after it did. I don't get how it's possible that I heard so little about it then, while now I've heard about this in lots of places. 3DS and Wii U sales combined are less than Wii sales.

yup. theyre basically forcing our hands at pirating and emulating. once the eshop goes down and we lose all these digital exvlusive titles the only next thing is to either pay a ridiculous price for it or to emulate
I'm glad I bought dragon quest 7 and 8 on day one. definitely a series you do not want to sleep on if you think very expensive you should check out the physical versions of four five and six on the DS they're over $100
Yeah, it's awesome how they made remakes/remasters of every single Dragon Quest from 1 to 8, most on the DS/3DS, unfortunetly like you said, all expensive now for the physical versions, which will get more so once the eshops close.
Although not a 3DS fan nor collector, I am highly worried about practice of shutting down digital stores without offering us an alternative. Thank goodness for the Redump project. It seems it's up to us gamers to preserve video game history.
yes, its a total disregard for the games. Companies don't treat them with the due respect, games are art. Yeah, things like Internet Archive are so important, while Nintendo keeps fighting off emulation like its the devil. Its shameful.

I didn't get to do this with the ds and was very upset and sad mine was broken from my dumb sibling. So now I feel like this is my redemption arc to try and get as MANY 3ds games I want to play as possible and enjoy the adventure along the way , enjoying the stressful will I or won't I find games for cheaper before they sky rocket . I'm buying a frame from a friend because I never saw it irl again after it's launch as we speak At least this way I know I'll have given it my best !

a piece of information that would be vital and helpful in your future lists - Provide how much memory/how many blocks the games take if possible? Unfortunately we have to put money on our account and get to the buy screen before we can even see
I have a pretty expansive knowledge of the 3ds but even many of these passed me by! Mainly Sakura Samurai, Ninja Battle Heroes, and Nano Assault EX. Definitely reccomended putting Gurumin a Monstrous Adventure 3D on your next video, and Gotta Protectors. Yokai Watch games have also gotten super expensive save for digital. Mainly Blasters and YKW3.

12:35 - I was on my way of checking these games on the eshop on the 3DS. BUT, I can't find it and when I search on it in the search bar, it says can't find what you searched for (or similar words). How do I find these games on eshop? Would be very thankfull if someone could explain how to find it. Also, do they not exist on the European eshop? Would appreciate some information on my questions.

OK, I think I stand corrected, seemingly it is possible. From Nintendo's website: "Users who link their Nintendo Network ID wallet (used with Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS family of systems) with their Nintendo Account wallet (used with the Nintendo Switch family of systems) can use the shared balance to purchase content on any of these systems until late March 2023. After that, the balance can only be used to purchase content for the Nintendo Switch family of systems.“
Yeah, that's also what I heard, so that's why I didn't freak out. Through the Switch we can still add funds to our account (obviously) and since the account is the same for 3DS and Wii U we can use those funds on those systems until the stores close. I'll be sure to address this after making a thorough check for the next videos. Appreciate the extra detail!

You added one of my 2 favorite 3DS games which was Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology which is definitely one to be on this list. My other fav which is more just my taste is Stella Glow which has some really good music in it and if you like anime fire emblem, it's pretty dang good.

I dont think I say about updates specifically in the video. But yes, you will still be able to download updates for games you already own after the eshops close. Here's Nintendo statement about it: "Even after late March 2023, and for the foreseeable future, it will still be possible to redownload games and DLC, receive software updates and enjoy online play on Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS family of systems." Of all your content, these types of videos are my favorite. Too bad they are prompted by companies announcing store closures. The 3DS was my only console for a while so I was familiar with most of these and own about half but I love the passion you put into your videos, and calling out the prices is super helpful. You make me want to buy games I never considered or never even heard of. Keep it up man! Make as many of these as you can, there is so much good stuff to cover.
Yeah, I really like making these too. Thing is, when I do them without the store closure behind, the algorithm doesn't pick up because my audience is still small, so the videos end up kinda buried. I made one on PS3 and Vita recently very much in the same vein as this, full of hidden gems and lesser known games, but only a few hundred people watched it. Ninja Battle Heroes totally looks like Muramasa The Demon Blade. Muramasa Rebirth on Vita is one of my favorite games of all time so definitely looking into Ninja Battle Heroes. Another game I would recommend that you can get physically is Little Battlers eXperience.

I mean if the publisher wants their games to die in the abyss of time, why should you as the consumer bother to stop them? Let them! This is all so very strange. It should be Nintendo themselves preserving the games. What a nasty company they have turned out to be. Very different from the GameCube days.
I get your point. Its a shame how companies treat the games they own... specially these smaller ones. The thing is that these games are valued by consumers, as the works of art that they are (in my view at least), so many see value in efforts to preserve them, and Im doing what I can in this sense as well. I see, there is one "physical" version with both of them for the 3DS, I saw it only now. These region excluisve versions fool me sometimes, sorry about this misinformation, my bad. I also learned that there is no cartidge inside these, so its not actually physical. But anyway, thanks for this correction!
No difference between them, did a little research here and nothing came up. Just a heads up, just in case: If you have a North American 3DS, it won't run european 3DS games. You probably already know ths, but just in case.
Or you could just homebrew your 3ds/2ds xl which is stupid easy and not have to worry about the eshop closing. I'm sure the wii u is easy to homebrew as well. Not sure though never tried.
I hear its also easy to jailbreak the Wii U. Yeah, that is certainly an option specially given how Nintendo treats its own IPs and custumers... they are making the best case for emulation with this sort of thing. But I think its important to support the creators and owners of the IPs by buying their games, otherwise we would stop getting them. Yeah it's worth it. I mean I enjoy seeing people's take on games and games I might of missed. Not a fan of rythmn games but some people are. Glad you said Dillon trilogy. Everyone is mentioning Rolling, but not the other two. Awhile back I decided to not get Rolling two. It's supposedly more of the same as 1 but Dead Heat differs. Which I bought the last time I heard of eshop closures outside of North America.

Watching this list reminds me of how awkward it was to be left handed during the ds era and how I had to research the controls before buying any game. Most of the touch screen controlled games were made with holding the stylus in you right hand in mind and it made many games a lot less enjoyable. Bless the games that made left hand modes

Yes, thats a top priority for the next video on exclusives. I did not cover it yet because I dont have them, and never played them. I wouldn't feel confirtable covering a game I never played, cause I like to go into a little bit of detail. So, tell me one thing if you dont mind, why is psychic specters so much more expensive than fleshy souls? Cause I found a Fleshy Souls for cheap here and if the gameplay is simmilar I'll play that instead to capture.

The absolute weirdest part for me is... I never bought "Rhythm Thief and the Emperor's Treasure"... All i did back then was download the demo. And all of a sudden, after a few years of not playing on my 3ds, I have the full game on my 3ds and I still don't know how.

You should absolutely cover the Silver Falls games! There are five on 3DS and two on Wii U, and they're all fantastic and unique games that will be gone soon! They're made entirely by one guy and massive labor-of-love games for the systems.

Rhythm Thief is so interesting and it’s a shame that it never developed into a full series outside of the cancelled iOS game. Definitely a rhythm game player must have. Same for Harmo Knight, thought the songs are less memorable the gameplay is extremely good.

Liberation Maiden and Raidiant Historia PC are SUCH cool games. Anyone who hasn't played them has been missing out...and Nano Assault EX is one of the best shooters on the console. I LOVE playing it twin stick gray nipple style. Sakura Samurai is a great title I bought and played when it first came out. Such a shame that generations of gamers won't get to experience it (and Liberation Maiden) now thanks to the eshop closure. Unless, of course...🏴☠

I'd also like to add Terraria and the first Dementium to the list. Terraria is available in so many other devices but the 3DS version has its own exclusive contents due to no longer receiving updates and the firdt Dementium game was the only One of the 2 to receive an HD remaster on the 3DS. Fun fact, Dementium was the original pitch for Silent Hill on Nintendo so I find it to be of someehat historic value as well.
I looked it up and there is a 2000 limit of subscriptions, I didn't know that. Did you actually hit that or its more like you have too many to juggle already? 13:39 such a shame to see another "battle system" in an action/tower defense game. So unnecessary. When I see someone say "but the *battle system* is .." I turn off. I find it jarring that it takes me out of the action and removes me from the immersion. To me, it is like a QTE system. It just jarrs you out of the immersion. And for that reason that its a no for me personally. There are ample JRPGs on the system for you "Battle System" junkies - but I ain't one of those.

Picked up liberation maiden among the list. Loved it. Wish Suda51 & Grasshoper manufacture would go back to this world of new japan & make a TRUE spiritual sequel or successor. I know that a sequel does exist for liberation maiden but that one never got localized and on top of that it’s a completely different genre and studio behind the sequel, Suda wasn’t even involved with it either.

Please make as many of these as you can lol. When the Wii shop was announced to close and because of the PSN Store closure scare, I spent a good month or so compiling as many potential games that I would buy on them before they were gone. I bought as many as I could and while I couldn't buy them all, I at least gave it one last good effort. The same thing is happening again.

Out of the ones I have, I rank the PSP the easiest, Wii second, PS Vita third and PS3 the most complicated to hack and maintain. The only hiccup I had for the Wii was picking an OS, but the rest is pretty light. I have no idea about the handhelds, though.

Finally...Liberation Maiden got the attention he deserve! This is one of the most obscure 3ds title and the most forgotten title of LEVEL5!

Yeah, it's awesome how they made remakes/remasters of every single Dragon Quest from 1 to 8, most on the DS/3DS, unfortunetly like you said, all expensive now for the physical versions, which will get more so once the eshops close.
Although not a 3DS fan nor collector, I am highly worried about practice of shutting down digital stores without offering us an alternative. Thank goodness for the Redump project. It seems it's up to us gamers to preserve video game history.
yes, its a total disregard for the games. Companies don't treat them with the due respect, games are art. Yeah, things like Internet Archive are so important, while Nintendo keeps fighting off emulation like its the devil. Its shameful.

I have a pretty expansive knowledge of the 3ds but even many of these passed me by! Mainly Sakura Samurai, Ninja Battle Heroes, and Nano Assault EX.
Definitely reccomended putting Gurumin a Monstrous Adventure 3D on your next video, and Gotta Protectors.
Yokai Watch games have also gotten super expensive save for digital. Mainly Blasters and YKW3.

12:35 - I was on my way of checking these games on the eshop on the 3DS. BUT, I can't find it and when I search on it in the search bar, it says can't find what you searched for (or similar words). How do I find these games on eshop? Would be very thankfull if someone could explain how to find it.

Does anyone of you know, if you'd still be able to use the money in your Switch eShop account on the 3DS and Wii U after August. Because the way I read it, this will also not be possible after the cut-off date. But I might be wrong here.
OK, I think I stand corrected, seemingly it is possible. From Nintendo's website:
"Users who link their Nintendo Network ID wallet (used with Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS family of systems) with their Nintendo Account wallet (used with the Nintendo Switch family of systems) can use the shared balance to purchase content on any of these systems until late March 2023. After that, the balance can only be used to purchase content for the Nintendo Switch family of systems.“
Yeah, that's also what I heard, so that's why I didn't freak out. Through the Switch we can still add funds to our account (obviously) and since the account is the same for 3DS and Wii U we can use those funds on those systems until the stores close. I'll be sure to address this after making a thorough check for the next videos. Appreciate the extra detail!

You added one of my 2 favorite 3DS games which was Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology which is definitely one to be on this list. My other fav which is more just my taste is Stella Glow which has some really good music in it and if you like anime fire emblem, it's pretty dang good.

I dont think I say about updates specifically in the video. But yes, you will still be able to download updates for games you already own after the eshops close. Here's Nintendo statement about it: "Even after late March 2023, and for the foreseeable future, it will still be possible to redownload games and DLC, receive software updates and enjoy online play on Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS family of systems." Of all your content, these types of videos are my favorite. Too bad they are prompted by companies announcing store closures. The 3DS was my only console for a while so I was familiar with most of these and own about half but I love the passion you put into your videos, and calling out the prices is super helpful. Yeah, I really like making these too. Thing is, when I do them without the store closure behind, the algorithm doesn't pick up because my audience is still small, so the videos end up kinda buried. I made one on PS3 and Vita recently very much in the same vein as this, full of hidden gems and lesser known games, but only a few hundred people watched it. Ninja Battle Heroes totally looks like Muramasa The Demon Blade. Muramasa Rebirth on Vita is one of my favorite games of all time so definitely looking into Ninja Battle Heroes.
Another game I would recommend that you can get physically is Little Battlers eXperience.

No difference between them, did a little research here and nothing came up. Just a heads up, just in case: If you have a North American 3DS, it won't run european 3DS games. You probably already know ths, but just in case.
Or you could just homebrew your 3ds/2ds xl which is stupid easy and not have to worry about the eshop closing. I'm sure the wii u is easy to homebrew as well. Not sure though never tried.
I hear its also easy to jailbreak the Wii U. Yeah, that is certainly an option specially given how Nintendo treats its own IPs and custumers... they are making the best case for emulation with this sort of thing. But I think its important to support the creators and owners of the IPs by buying their games, otherwise we would stop getting them. Hi Fajar! Yes, it will all remain opperational after the eshop closes on March 27th 2023. They have not given a date for when the servers will be shut down alltogether, so its not on the foreseable future.

Watching this list reminds me of how awkward it was to be left handed during the ds era and how I had to research the controls before buying any game. Most of the touch screen controlled games were made with holding the stylus in you right hand in mind and it made many games a lot less enjoyable. Bless the games that made left hand modes

lol, yeah, I have to agree there because of Nintendo's decisions of not making games available and instead doing the subscription based thing in Switch Online, that doesn't give us ownership of the games, which I hate so much. Yes, thats a top priority for the next video on exclusives. I did not cover it yet because I dont have them, and never played them. I wouldn't feel confirtable covering a game I never played, cause I like to go into a little bit of detail. So, tell me one thing if you dont mind, why is psychic specters so much more expensive than fleshy souls? Cause I found a Fleshy Souls for cheap here and if the gameplay is simmilar I'll play that instead to capture.

You should absolutely cover the Silver Falls games! There are five on 3DS and two on Wii U, and they're all fantastic and unique games that will be gone soon! They're made entirely by one guy and massive labor-of-love games for the systems.

Rhythm Thief is so interesting and it’s a shame that it never developed into a full series outside of the cancelled iOS game. Definitely a rhythm game player must have. Same for Harmo Knight, thought the songs are less memorable the gameplay is extremely good.

Liberation Maiden and Raidiant Historia PC are SUCH cool games. Anyone who hasn't played them has been missing out...and Nano Assault EX is one of the best shooters on the console. I LOVE playing it twin stick gray nipple style. Sakura Samurai is a great title I bought and played when it first came out. Such a shame that generations of gamers won't get to experience it (and Liberation Maiden) now thanks to the eshop closure. Unless, of course...🏴☠

50? Been through the entire lot on the 3ds and found like 3, two of which I am sure I can just get a cartridge for.
Some of these are unavailable to me. Yeah... you mentioned one of the games. Attack of the Friday Monsters!
I'd also like to add Terraria and the first Dementium to the list. Terraria is available in so many other devices but the 3DS version has its own exclusive contents due to no longer receiving updates and the firdt Dementium game was the only One of the 2 to receive an HD remaster on the 3DS. Fun fact, Dementium was the original pitch for Silent Hill on Nintendo so I find it to be of someehat historic value as well.

13:39 such a shame to see another "battle system" in an action/tower defense game. So unnecessary. When I see someone say "but the *battle system* is .." I turn off. I find it jarring that it takes me out of the action and removes me from the immersion. To me, it is like a QTE system. It just jarrs you out of the immersion. And for that reason that its a no for me personally. There are ample JRPGs on the system for you "Battle System" junkies - but I ain't one of those.

Picked up liberation maiden among the list. Loved it. Wish Suda51 & Grasshoper manufacture would go back to this world of new japan & make a TRUE spiritual sequel or successor. I know that a sequel does exist for liberation maiden but that one never got localized and on top of that it’s a completely different genre and studio behind the sequel, Suda wasn’t even involved with it either.
