I completely agree that different decks give different readings, but then every situation has multiple ways to look at it. It's like talking to friends about something that's troubling you. They can give completely different advise but all be right in some way. Different decks can address different aspects of any situation. I feel like it's part of our job, as the reader, to make the right deck choice depending on what's required. I have decks for general readings, which are mostly RW or RW clones, and then everything else I decide on a case by case basis.
Without a doubt a great Sunday chat! I wish I only had 1 deck some days, just because I have a few styles and wonder why I have/need so many. I like Vincent Pitisci, his bare bones book gives a set of key words to apply to any situation or reading with virtually any deck. However I get what you mean, if I did a reading with 2 very different decks would the same spread look different contextually speaking (eg druidcraft vs Balbi) if you went on intuition rather than a set way? The reason I do have a collection of decks spanning 70's to 2020's, I love what I see in the cards and have different clients who would suit a particular deck when I read for them. Wishing you a wonderful week ahead 🙏💜🙏 And what could your news possibly be???? Excited for next week 😁
Hi Matt, I had to laugh at your intro, the only tarot I feel comfortable enough to use when reading for others has and will probably always be the Marseille... I use the Osho Zen as well, but only for myself. But if I want a "pick me up" reading or a "let's have a laugh" answer, I choose the Monstarot, or the Ganeshian Village tarot, or the Playful heart tarot. Great question, btw !
@@soulshifter1111 I feel flattered, really ! I had never thought of these decks as being exotic, but the sagittarian in me looves this, so thanks a lot 🙏🥰!
