Today I bring you a requested video review for this new foundation by the beautiful Rihanna :) It was such a highly anticipated product that it was almost completely sold out by the time I got to it at Sephora!

Am i the only one who thinks the foundation is too yellow for her?
Nope, I thought so too.
Did you even listen to her talk, she even said it herself that the foundation is darker than her skin. And her choices were limited since half of the shades were already gone.

It oxidized on me as well. I felt that I had a mask on, and my face felt super “heavy”. Didn’t like it at all.

You're the first to say it was "heavy" on your skin, even ppl with dark marks etc who used more then one pump didn't say that.
Dira501 Um, everybody’s skin is different? Just because nobody else has said it, it doesn’t make my opinion any less valid. I AM allowed to have one right? Or do I have to like a product because everyone else does? Please.
Adriana Delgado I didn't say you had to like it because there were plenty of ppl who said they didn't like it; but not one person said it felt "heavy". No one that reviewed the product had the same skin.
Dira501 Well what can I tell you? That’s exactly how it felt to me. Like I was wearing stage makeup.
I finally made the time to try out fenty at Sephora last week. There was a crowd of ladies gathered around the beauty rep so I decided to swatch 300, 290, 280, 260, but 310 was missing. So I swatched and went off to get some lunch and, when I looked at my arm 2 hours later, did I get a surprise, 300 was dark, 280 was orange but 290 and 260 was fine on my light olive skin, 260 for winter and 290 for summer! I think that you might prefer 290 as 300 really oxides to a deep colour.
Great review. Idk if it’s the lighting though but it makes you look kind of yellowy orange. At the same time, it also looks fine
I agree, I think the color is too dark. I had the same problem with 290. It's the right olive undertone for me, but I need a lighter version of it. 290 is unfortunately the only olive color!!!

Ugh!!! You're whole look is gorgeous. LOVE it. I have shade 290 and it's the only one that matches me. I have light olive skin...if that makes any sense lol But it's the only one that works for me. One pump gives me the coverage I love. 290, personally, is a good match to my NARS sheer glow in Stromboli. OH! And I also went in to Sephora like 5 times to find my perfect match lol
Maggie Mac ..lm nc42 and I tries 330 330 and 300 and I found them all too orange. I have 290 and mix it with a lil 300 and it works fine. I also mix 290 with jouer nutmeg too
Maggie Mac I appreciate how much women review make up and help each other out like wow. I’m 33 and I’ve never worn foundation before cause I’m scared of doing it wrong. Understanding my skin tones has been so confusing, but your comment has helped me decide. Thank you. I’m p sure I’m 290. My skin is medium olive, but sometimes looks lighter? Idk it’s odd plus it’s winter rt now so I wasn’t sure if I should go lighter. I like the idea of wearing a thin layer like u described since I’m not use to it and I only wear make every once in a great while as it is. I love heavy and dark eye and lips tho I just always worn only powder with yellow corrector stick in my dark spots first.

Hi Sarah! As always you knocked out another great review! I haven't seen a review that has shown it oxidizing. What brand of under eye corrector did you use? Will you review the new UD All Nighter concealer? I have a place in Myrtle Beach, SC. and my sister lives in Surfside. I totally get what you're saying about Charleston traffic! Take care 😘!

+Wendy Domann also, I haven’t heard anyone mentioning anything about the foundation oxidizing either. That’s another reason why I didn’t wait for it to dry in the store 😩

Did you use setting powder off camera? If so what was it? If you used under eye product for dark circles what did you use? I have those. I’m dry skin not normal to dry. I really want to try this product primer dries me out. I noticed u didn’t apply it under ur eyes on camera was there a reason for that? You look gorgeous!

I got matched to 290, which I think is a perfect match and we have similar skin tones, at first I was skeptical but the foundation oxidizes.

I had the same problem with the foundation not perfectly matching my skin and that it looks kinda orange. But it ends up evening out fine

Were you color matched at Sephora while you were there?
I’m nc40 in MAC , Barcelona in Nars , Cashew in EL and Sand in 2 faced.... and was matched to 250 which I like as my winter shade ... but I also tried 290 which works for me as well but would be perfect for me in the summer time. 💓
+Issy Mo i was not matched. Thought I could get away with matching myself, which I typically do. It was super busy when I went in so I didn’t even consider asking. I’ll definitely have to go back and look at 250. I too use Barcelona and NC40. Thank you!

I got the foundation and it gets really darker then it seems after it dries . And it makes me break out in pimples . I noticed.
Aren't you an NC30 in Mac Studio Fix? If so, 240 is the shade saaammage recommended.

how long would the swatch take to oxidise?
+cherylcro1 it only took a couple of minutes. The foundation sets pretty quickly.

Difference between oxidising and drying the foundation dries within minutes and sets slightly darker that's drying
Oxidising happens after an hour that changes the colour so I'm sorry I dnt agree with ur review🙃
