Thank you for this review!! I see your viewers growing!!! Praying you keep getting more Rhoda!! I'm always eyeing new foundations. Sticking w my Dior for now😂❤
Oh nooooo, I’ve been wearing for about 7-8 hrs and mine isn’t bad but definitely glowy. I think a bit too shiny on the nose and I usually wear a matte formula on my nose only if I use a glowy product lol. I used the YSL powder which helped to mattify but I’m going to keep trying. You’re right it really does look perfect when you first apply. Are you going to keep it?? Congrats on 500! It’s taken me ages to just get 930 so you’re doing something right! ❤
When I used a really grippy primer (blur jam) and over powdered (mini baked) around my nose it held up really well so I will keep it because it’s so gorgeous. You have to prime and powder though for sure :) thank you so much !!!!!! I’m so grateful for my subs !!! I see you hitting 1000 very soon! I love how you can do an entire video without editing it’s truly a gift I can’t talk straight for 45 minutes like that! Xo 💋
You read my mind! I was planning to test that out because I love how this foundation looks at first .. you are right that possibly I need a sticky primer in my t zone especially because the side I primed and powdered looked not bad at all .. it was my nose and the non primed side that were the most problem .. perhaps I can add something more gripping in that area.. I will do another test with a heftier primer because if that works I will be happy because this is a beautiful foundation :)
That doesn’t usually happen to me.. especially not at this level of streaking.. it was literally sliding off. I haven’t tried this trick but I have heard that you can add some setting powder to the rim of your glasses to avoid this. 😊
@@painttheface Do let me know how you get on. I found it worked great on the part of my cheeks where the lenses sit, but still get a little bit of foundation piling up on the bridge of my nose
Hi! Just came across your channel looking for reviews of this foundation. I really wanted to get this, but after watching your review, I’ll probably take a pass. Thanks so much for this review!! It really did look so pretty when you first applied it. That’s a shame.
I love this foundation so I have to HAVE TO powder more than I usually do and also use a sticky primer .. that helps :) glowish blur jam works also the Tom ford soft matte primer :) I love it but it does take more work to make it last :) I hope that helps!! Thanks for watching!
Yes I've heard that the shades can be finicky and hard to match across the different formulas! i hope you find your shade... nobody wants orange lol xo
This is the ONLY negative review I have seen. Make sure to use primer, and get the Kind for your skin type, Make sure you said it well with a setting powder and that you touch up during the day with your powder, that should help.
Hi! As I mentioned in the video My primed and powdered side looked fine and you’re right you most definitely have to prime and powder this foundation well for it to last .. but I don’t have to touch up any of my other foundations (haus labs, Valentino, pat mcgrath, nars, geurlain, hourglass) so I’m not sure I want to start now :) however, because I love the way this foundation looks I may try going a little heavier on the powder around my nose and see what happens. Perhaps I will also try a different powder. I used the new hourglass in the video - I think I’ll try with huda or givenchy.
THANK YOU!!! 🙏🏽 I LOVE YOU!!! I FINALLY FOUND YOU WITH MY SKIN TONE AND SHADE!!!
Thank you! Yay!! Glad you’re here :)
when the video started i thought you already had foundation on! youre skin looks amazing... i got this foundation too and i love it!! i have dry skin
Oh thank you! Glad it’s working for you!!!!!!!

Thank you so much!! You cannot go wrong with Dior :)
I'm glad I saw this review. I am not going to buy this foundation now. You saved me some money
Glad it was helpful!

Does it stay with a sticky primer?

I wear glasses and every foundation does that striking thing 😮

@@painttheface Put a heavy swatch of pressed powder where your glasses sit and let it bake for a couple of minutes then brush it away. That helps
My foundation does it too👀
@twoleftfeet9626 I’ve never experienced this before so I haven’t ever tried baking in that area - BUT i will now lol… thanks :)

@@painttheface definitely helps. Heck yes, I’d use whatever I had to to make it work if I’d already purchased this. Thanks for your prompt reply. ❤️
Love you Queen

I wear shade 240. However in softlit 240 is very orange.
Yes I've heard that the shades can be finicky and hard to match across the different formulas! i hope you find your shade... nobody wants orange lol xo
PS. I think for that price I want it to work without having to do different stuff with to make it work
If you know what I mean.
Totally 👍 I get it

What do you recommend for some thing similar coverage and finish but lasts 7 to 8 hours? 🫶🏻
Hi! Try the NARS Light Reflecting foundation - it’s similar and long lasting!
