I love the feedsack reference ! It's so easy when you get the right thread. But when you don't --- argh ! Thanks for the great shows!
I've found that those cheap, sticky lint rollers work great for picking up threads. I keep one on my ironing surface and can just pick it up when I press the "once sewn" seam again for re-stitching and just roll quickly. It saves from all the picking at it with your fingers and you can just pull off a clean sheet when that one is no longer sticky.
Rose55 Gentry That's wonderfully useful to know. Arthur (Ritis) is twisting my fingers so that making a "pinch" is becoming impossible. I'm new at quilting so hints like this keep me encouraged. Thanks!
Thanks you was picking them off one by one had to look for a tutorial before I went bonkers!!!!!!

Why do they never answer questions in the comment section????
Hi! I just watched the Bunco Club lady show how to rip a seam in a second by using the red ball end of the ripper. I thought "can you do that safely with patchwork?" What do you think?
The sticky roller is a good tip . It works well
