Steve C is asked to bring the cake down. But, there is no cake. Steve C is asked to explain why there is no cake.
"Wasn't in the budget."
"Steve doesn't even know how to do him anymore." Opie says that Patrice is on to something.
"Sam loves this stuff."
Patrice questions Steve C. "If this was Roots, it has come to the point when he changes his name."
Patrice calls them "fucking assholes!"
E-Rock is brought in. Jim claims that Steve C hates certain members of the staff.
Patrice thinks that Steve C wants to fight people but can't.
"Dudes don't push buttons!" After some arguing, Patrice claims that no one is on Steve's side.
"I never don't accept an apology." Patrice doesn't like staying angry at other "dudes."
Kevin Smith reveals that he's still around!

Because by that point Patrice probably highly disliked Danny as well, plus he was able to pick up on the off the air office evil vibes. And also, listen to some of the other Steve vs his staff segments, Jim is always just right under the surface so wanting to call out Danny for being a cunt, but I’m guessing held back because of the whole Danny-Ant shit. You can tell Opie hated Danny as well, and certainly didn’t like the way him and Travis would do Erock dirty af behind the scenes, but again another person reluctant to let that fuck really have it due to his friendship with Anthony. That was a major way in which Op appeased Ant, Danny was a gd cancer in that back office. He got Master Po booted I’m pretty sure, was the impetus for all the Steve C hatred behind the scenes, etc. Sam was a shit stirrer absolutely, but there was a distinct difference he wasn’t just straight malicious the way Danny and Travis would be to people. I hate that pussy gang mentality shit, just a sign of weak minded peop.

Patrice tried too hard to sound intelligent sometimes and made the most vague meandering descriptions of what he thought was going on in someone else's head.. people tend to worship this dude because he died. I loved his standup, but he was completely overbearing on radio and he never shut the fuck up on tough crowd.

Funny how everything Patrice said about Steve up to the type of death was correct. Unfortunately the other idiots in the room couldn’t see Steve needed someone to stand up for him. He didn’t last a year after one of his only friends Patrice died.
