    I admire the time you have invested into this project. You created something spectacular from scratch, and it was a success at all levels. You did something extraordinary, you are listed as a professional. The unit is cooled at high Temperatures, and the operation system is constant with no defaults detected. If the fuel capacity consumptions is low at high Rpms, it is gauged as an efficient power plant using more Air than fuel to transmit maximum power.
    Overall? Good Job! I like your Work. Your doing something many individuals never think about.

      Thanks a lot Andy👍👍👍
      Still working on performance and thrust.
      Today the engine spit out 34 Kg and still some rpm to go😉

    Great! You should Make a electronic starter for the engine and use the Xicoy Fadec V10 ECU . Then you'll be set.

    Thank you for the bilingual captions, my high school German was for too long ago and too basic to keep up otherwise!
    Did I see something dripping from the bottom of the engine between 5:20 and 5:35? Hopefully that was expected behaviour!

    With potential for high frequency vibration, wouldn't you want your diffuser made of a forged aluminum? Get yourself some used forged aluminum piston from a high compression engine and mill them from that. Don't get me wrong the whole project super cool. Well done!!

      Негода ver0, для него это запредельные технологии. Ему 3-5 кг (возможно меньше, точно не помню) тяги на его двигателях дались слишком тяжело. Ему проще купить Б/У движок, а не самому сделать.

    Wirklich genial! Ich grübele grad was der Diffusor thermisch aushalten muss. Reichen da knapp unter 300grad Celsius?

    • @rcpowres
      @rcpowres 2 роки тому

      Dann könnte man doch evtl ein Urmodell 3D drucken (pla oder petg). Oberfläche aufbereiten. Schleifen grundieren. Silikonabdruck erstellen und mit JB Weld ausgießen (quasi das Rapid Prototype Verfahren) unter Vakuum? Grüße in Richtung Hannover!

    • @Praendy
      @Praendy  2 роки тому

      Moin,
      das würde gehen.
      Die Lufttemperatur unter Kompression liegt bei ca. 170°C.
      Wenn man das Triebwerk noch dem Abstellen runterkühlt, gibts keine Probleme.
      Ansonsten hat man Stauwärme, die über 300°C erreichen kann und den Diffusor möglicherweise verformt.
      Danke😉
      Andy

    • @rcpowres
      @rcpowres 2 роки тому

      Ah ok! Weißt Du ob die aktuelle UT-160 am Diffusor diese groben Diffusor Keile hat oder ob da außen nochmal die kleinen Schaufeln auf dem Mantel sind. Viele Grüße Christian

    • @Praendy
      @Praendy  2 роки тому

      Also was ich eben so bei Jetmax gesehen habe, gibts den in beiden Ausführungen, wobei die "normale" UT 160 den gemischten Diff hat.
      Die LA Version (was immer das bedeutet) hat den einfachen Vollkeildiff.
      Andy

    • @rcpowres
      @rcpowres 2 роки тому

      Ja was das LA bedeuten soll frage ich mich auch. Ich habe mal gelesen das es Letzte Ausführung heißen soll (quasi latest revision?). Klingt aber etwas komisch. Ich würde gerne mal in eine aktuelle Bauplan Version reinschauen um abzuschätzen ob ich das gefertigt bekomme. Turbinenrad und -stator würde ich wahrscheinlich kaufen. Beim Kompressorläufer frage ich mich ob man den konventionell gedreht bekommt! (Ich hoffe das ist ok wenn wir hier so viel schreiben?)

    How does this engine work with gas fuel and liquid fuel?

    • @Praendy
      @Praendy  2 роки тому

      Hi,
      the engine only works with liquid fuel.
      I tried a 5 Liter Propan gas bottle, but there is not enough flow to the engine.
      So the gas is for preheating the combustion chamber until fuel is entering.

    • @Praendy
      @Praendy  2 роки тому +2

      Hi Oilaf,
      25 Kg sinds leider nur.
      Die innere Skala ist in Pfund.
      Beim heutigen Test habe ich 35 Kg erreicht und noch 7000 Umdrehungen Luft nach oben.
      Also 40-45 Kg sind möglich😉

    How the faq did you make a jet engine ,let alone by hand , i was under impression turbines need some exotic materials and some fine craftsmanship because they spin fast , have to be very precise , you cant make that by hand , you hand is not that precise . Its like Telescope , cant grind telescope mirror by hand it will be real bad , you need tools .
    Tho i never made a turbine , so i dont know , maybe you can make it .

      Hi,
      thats no problem in Germany.
      There would be only a restriction if the engine would fly.
      In Germany we have a max take off weight of 25 Kg.
      Above 25 Kg the plane needs an official check from the LBA.
      Thats a kind of safety board, or NTSB.

    4:59 - 5:05 Back part moving, looks dangerous.

    • @Praendy
      @Praendy  2 роки тому +1

      Hi,
      its not dangerous.
      The inner cone settles down, after the heat from the startup is gone.
      There are 3 stainless screws they centers the cone.
      During startup, the getting a bit longer of the heat. When the engine is in idle, the temperature drops and the screws taking their normal shape.
