I’m looking to start my sweet potatoe pie and dessert business this in genius thank u soo much!! People love my desserts and I believe I found a market that need them the most
I've followed your instructions on shipping with good success - thanks! The least expensive shipping I can find so far thru USPS or UPS is about $20 per pie. Any hints on a more economical shipping method?
I have been watching a few of your videos and I’m so happy I found you! I have a food truck and I have been in business for a year now and I would like to start a website so I can sell my empanadas on line for xtra money! Do you have any advise on how I should pack them? I’m thinking the same way you ship a pie! Thank you for your videos and helping people out! Your amazing!
I followed the links you provided and purchased everything you’re using. The shrink wrap was super flimsy and was really hard to work with. The shrink wrap you use in the video seems a lot more stable. Can you tell me exactly what you used? What I got from Amazon was 18 Inches X 1000 Feet Tough Pallet Shrink Wrap, 80 Gauge Industrial Strength Plastic Film.
Yes you can ship cheesecakes we actually had a cheesecake that we used to sell we don't undersell it anymore just because it was an item that we didn't sell a lot of but we it deep freeze it and we would overnight it you can do that also which is ice packs but you want to make sure that they surround the cheesecake and you do a one day express shipment

Just found you...your channel is awesome!!! I have a pie business, but mine need to be shipped frozen or refrigerated. Can you do a video on that topic?
thanks for these, very helpful videos. this looks like it would work for empanada-type baked goods, but any tips would be greatly appreciated! also, im considering a vacuum sealer in place of the heat sealer (multi use seems more practical, for roughly the same price), any thoughts on that?
Hello there. I found your channel last night and ive been watching since then. I'm working/ planning on starting my own baking business from home. All the videos ive seen have been very helpful and so informative! I've learned so much! I have a question or maybe I missed it, How do I get the free mailing boxes shipped to me? Thank you so very much for all you do!
Thanks for the feedback glad you like it! Depends on the type of cakes and cookies . Certain cream, or iced cookies or cakes dont freeze well when they thaw they form sweat beeds, and can ruin the product. Fresh and then ship is best. Shipping cakes I would only use a cream cheese based icing. They freeze like rocsk which makes great for shipping
@@MarketingFoodOnline I'm making peanut butter cookies and cherry pie to my boyfriend for his birthday (4 hours away) should I freeze them and let them thaw before shipping?

Hey Whitney thanks for asking this will depend on the size of the platter a 9 inch will need a 10 or 11 inch wide bag. and at elast 12 inches long to allow for shrink

Hello Chuck no dont freeze ship right after it has cooled with 2 day priroity and no freezer bags will suck the air out and destroy the pie. Use shrick wrap with the heating gun I mentioned in the video for best results
My question is, the shrink wrap that you use from Amazon, is it FDA aporoved? It seems that what you are suggesting is a commercial grade shrink wrap, which is not food compliant.
Hello thanks for asking no we use and are only allowed to use FDA compliant direct food greade shrink wrap. There are shrink wraps that are FDA compliant and those that are made for eveyerthing else.
Thanks for sharing. I'm shipping a peach cobbler (has a top crust). I thought I'd ship it frozen (unbaked) with dry ice and baking instructions. But this looks much easier. Would this work for my cobbler? And do I not need dry ice to preserve freshness during shipping? I live in south Florida where it's always hot and humid.
