Wendy Achatz, of Achatz Handmade Pie Co. walks us through the process of checking the quality of the pies at her bakehouse.
In 1993 Wendy and her husband Dave began baking a few pies every week from their home and selling at local farmers markets. Today they, along with their team of over one hundred make tens of thousands of pies each week in small batches and deliver to hundreds of grocery stores and restaurants nation wide.
