You're right, of course is inferior but the price is not! Some people say is good for the environment, so then we should stop eating beef as well, this way we don't need leather, but guess what, I'm not stopping eating beef and I will still wear leather shoes.

After that, tons of people would buy them because they were made to believe its a value for money. Never ever buy monogram on canvas because it uses faux leather its another way for companies to sell you an overpriced bag using cheap materials. If you like the logos on your items, make sure to buy an embossed one not with a printed one. LV, Gucci, Goyard, Moynat, Fendi etc. are notorious for using monogram on canvas.

On the other hand if we pollute the Earth with waste polyurethane, how many animal lives will be saved? Because the material is both cheaper and inferior people are likely to produce more waste that is non-degradable. Companies are happy to sell cheap plastic and market it as the more sustainable option but the impact should be carefully considered from both sides. Maybe it would be better to buy long-lasting items and not fall for fashion trends.
