    What a beautiful rig aka home.
    Plan plan plan and research as much as you can. And like you said doing it is best.
    Go slow and never be rushed
    And something don’t feel right. Well stop that means something isn’t right. We learned that the hard way one time.
    So happy for you and welcome to the Rv family making new friends is always exciting

      Thank you!! I haven't done this much research since college lol.... it has been so fun! RV life has been everything we have hoped and more. And patience is great advice!! It is always that balance of respect for the process and learning but not letting fear keeping you from giving something new a try! Thank you for your kind words! It is hysterical to see how scared we were just 2.5 months ago compared to now!
      We appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment!

    I am so appreciative for all the knowledge you are sharing. I’m 75 and thinking of selling my home, in British Columbia, and living in a 5th wheel. I won’t be travelling with it, just living in it. I stayed in one while visiting Moab a few years ago and loved it. I thought it would be easy to just plug in my electrical and hook up the sewer but, thanks to you two, I realize there’s more involved than that. Especially when I’m going to buy an acre to live on. I don’t want neighbours. I’m thinking I should be looking into modular or tiny home.

      Thank you for watching our content-we really appreciate it! The sewer is what you need to think about most. If you don't plan to move, tiny homes can be more affordable and better built since weight will not be a factor. We were looking at tiny homes and realized we wanted to be mobile so we did a lot of investigating into them back in 2023.

    I stumbled across your UA-cam and really like your energy! We also have a Z3100 and absolutely love it. The fit, finish, and overall quality is really good (though not without occasional problems). You mentioned making sure you're level side-to-side. If you're within about 2 inches (think that's right), the auto-level will compensate. If you're way off, the auto-level won't work. I put a "Level Mate Pro" in the cabinet above the coffee hutch and I can see how level we are while still in the truck since it connects by Bluetooth to my phone. If I'm close, I don't worry. This is very useful when boondocking or at Harvest Hosts that aren't always level. Great rig! Enjoy! Safe travels!

      @LesbiFITAdventures  10 місяців тому

      Awesome tip! Our truck actually also lets us know how level we are which is great! We have found that the auto level gets us really close to level. We likely just need to calibrate it but just haven't had a chance to play with it yet. So awesome about the Z3100. Do you live in the rig or use it for vacation?
      Thank you for checking out our channel! Your kind words mean a lot!

    Beautiful RV! Be careful with the water filter. You don't wanna put too much pressure on the inlet with it hanging strait out. I had one break and flooded my site. That little short stub of hose that came with it is to be used between the filter and the parks hose connection so the filter can dangle straight down. Know what I mean. But good luck! Oh one question, How often do you all plan to move?

    • @LesbiFITAdventures
      @LesbiFITAdventures  10 місяців тому +1

      Thank you! We typically fill and disconnect as if dry camping, but this is a great tip! We have been learning how we use water this way as we plan to boondock as much as possible.
      We are testing out how long we plan to stay somewhere over the next several months. We have stays booked for as few as three nights and as long as a month. The availability of where we want to go is the most significant factor. Thank you so much for watching!

      @@LesbiFITAdventures I remember when we started, so much stress and excitement. But we are 2 years in, wife’s a travel nurse, and we still have not boon docked once! The boon docking out in nature is what sold us but we just haven’t gotten the solar set up yet. But Someday! Good luck, and your vids are great!

      Thank you! We are excited to boondock and be out in nature, and our first trip is in a couple of weeks. Stay tuned to see our first boondocking trip! How often do you move sites?

    • @OneStrangeJourney
      @OneStrangeJourney 10 місяців тому

      Not as often as I would like. We take 3 month contracts. So anywhere from 3-9 months at one site at a time. Then between contracts we get to have fun traveling. It's always exciting rolling into a new town knowing soon this strange new town will feel like home again. Also being somewhere that long you really get to know the area well and explore every nook and cranny. @@LesbiFITAdventures
