New features for 2017 VW CC include:
Adaptive cruise control with braking, lane assist (automatically steers the car and keeps you in the lane), autohold (you can take your foot off the brake while at stoplights/traffic etc.) emergency autonomous braking, auto dimming drivers side wing mirror (and rear view mirror). Passenger mirror tip down while in reverse (to help see curb).
Other features include:
Leather seats with carbon and piano black trim, sunroof, key-less entry, push button start, 18" Montauk rims, adaptive headlights, LED running lights & tail lights, steering wheel paddle shifters, sport mode (transmission)
This car is very quiet on the road and has great driving dynamics. The DSG transmission and 2.0L turbo engine are extremely satisfying to drive.
That engine sounds nice.
Beautiful color, only downside is the gravel on the road that would leave unsightly spots on the hood after getting the paint chipped. Other than that, thats an awesome car!
These are marked down quite a bit now. I saw a sport with 20k miles certified for under 17k. Great price for a nice car.
It's definitely a steal, I'll be getting one soon after they start coming off lease this summer.

ketan d, They Euro spec version probably has it. These foreign manufacturers have been known to "dumb down" what they export to us. The CC & Taoureg are still made in Germany.

Sliding roof would look creepy with the concept of comfort coupe with sloping roof

Now that you have had it a while, do feel like the more expensive CC is the way to go over the Sport version? I'm just wondering if you found the extra electronic additions + leather worthwhile.
US spec cars are weird, no buttons for parking sensors, no adaptive suspension, no camera, nothing
Awesome, my moms toyota siena had active cruise control 10 years ago. Congrats Volkswagen for catching up. Maybe in 10 years Volkswagen will surprise us with this option to be standard on their vehicles.
Volkswagen has had adaptive cruise control in some of their cars since like 2004. It’s a known fact that the Japanese play catch-up with technology while Europe plays catchup with reliability.
