It was my first time ever baking anything. And this recipe (both the crust and the filling) gave me such a huge boost of confidence that I can actually bake. When Afghanistan fell into the hands of the Taliban and I was being evacuated, I made this just before leaving my home (forever). I took a piece of it on the evacuation with me, just to give me the comfort during a difficult time! Sometimes a recipe can go a long way 😍
Just tried this method after YEARS of watery apple pies…Amazing!!! Only thing I did differently was add the sugar and cinnamon together. I find it coats better than adding them separately. Love the channel and videos! Keep up the great work!
Now who thinks Natasha deserves a Netflix series I DO Best pie I ever tried talk about a real good pie luv the background music this was my first Natasha’s kitchen video best one ever plus ur kids are so cute 🥰 I’ve seen this about 12 times thank u
I've never liked pies in general, but my kids do. I made this recipe, and it was divine. It literally changed my view on pies. Thank you for teaching it. I love the video, which made me smile a couple of times. I did 1 laced and 1 with the strudel you also teach in a different video. AWESOME. thank you ❤
Thank you so much for the sauce and whole recipe. I changed this original to my own version by adding apples to the sauce cooked in medium low to 8-10 min then baked. I also added cinnamon powder to the sauce and vanilla, pinch of salt. Also dusted apples with some brown sugar before cooking. Yummy 😋
I made it today for the first time and my parents and brother liked it. :) I did lessen the sugar for the sauce (i used brown sugar) and the cinammon for my personal preference. I think i only used 3 apples (more or less, i peeled and sliced 6 apples but only half of it could fit in the pan i used, i still put all the sauce tho) I thought it won't turn out well because of some of the instructions that i wasn't able to do exactly as how it is in the video, (One example is the dough was over pulsed, it got sticky and hard to get off the food processor) but the good thing is it did turn out fine and tasted good! :) I will definitely make it again and will follow the instructions properly. Thank you for the sharing the recipe. It worked and we enjoyed it! :)
You are a LIFE SAVER! I had exactly 7 apples that needed to be used up before going bad and oh my goodness, this apple pie was so good. My mother in law asked me for the recipe and if I could make it on her anniversary, thank you so much Natasha, for sure subscribing!
WARNING/ ADVISORY: I made this pie this thanksgiving, it was absolutely delish! But you should make the sauce/ syrup AFTER you are done slicing the apples, or it will separate, without being able to be brought back together. Amazing recipe, although! Ill be making this for tomorrow as well! Merry Christmas and happy holidays!
Yes mine did this too, i removed all the liquid with a tissue and reheated the caramel and added milk about 3/4th cup, which looked about how much liquid had come out. Tasted divine and didn't affect the texture, but while baking it did get bubbly and sticky on some parts of the crust
that's true, 2nd time making this pie and it happened both times.....i don't think I'm that slow cutting up the apples lol. it did not affect the taste thankfully but I will prepare the apples first next time and keep them from browning with lemon juice.
I use this recipe for any major holidays including my birthday as my "birthday cake"!! I also use Natasha's pie crust recipe and it is delicious NEVER USING STORE MADE EVER AGAIN!!! love love love these recipes together!! this apple pie recipe is a favorite in my family!!
Oh my God, this pie is the best I’ve ever made and I been baking 50 years,,, the filling is the secret everyone is missing from being the best baker in your family, thank you
It was my first time baking a pie so I was quite nervous about and honestly I think I even made some mistakes but this recipe is so perfect and flawless that despite all of the difficulties, the pie was delicious!
I made one of your apple pies for Thanksgiving and I now have three request for Christmas getting started today, and thanks 😊 for those perfect instructions to make a perfect apple pie and the secret is that sauce.
Hey Natasha I made this yesterday for my American husband for Father's Day meal. I've never made a fruit pie before (because where I'm from a pie is a type of puff pastry with Meat or vegetables inside). He said this was the best pie he's ever had in his life. I used a pumpkin pie dish so I could only use half of the filling and it turned out so good. "The crust is not mushy it's sturdy and buttery, the filling is perfect"-Husband. Thank you for helping me make Father's Day great for him
thank you SO much for this recipe! I make this for my family every thanksgiving or christmas and they always love it, I'm excited to make it again this year!
I made this today and it was really really good. I have never baked a pie at this perfection. The dough was crispy and the filling was amazing. I added 1 lemon juice to my apples to prevent darkening and it was the only change I made. The one thing that is sad is we can’t leave our home and it’s just me, my dad and our cat. So just 2 people ate this pie and I felt heartbroken. Some things are better when you share it with the people you love. So I’m going to make this pie again, whenever this pandemic would end, that is going to be my totem. 🤞🏻💕
Thank you so much for sharing it with us. So true, it feels better when you share it with the people that you love but don't worry since you already know how it make this pie, you can easily do this again when everything is back to normal. Stay safe and healthy!
I just want to say how amazing this recipe is! Especially the dough. I have had issues in the past with dough, it was either too soggy or too stiff and wouldn't cooperate with me during the lifting over the pan phase. I doubled your recipe because my pie dish was slightly bigger, in addition to adding a custard layer underneath the caramelized apples. Result is spectacular and it was done in no time. Thank you for sharing such a great recipe!!
i’ve been making this pie for about 3 years now and it’s been a hit in our family (especially around christmas. TO THIS DAY). if you’re looking into making this recipe you totally should it’s amazing!!
Making an apple pie has always been on my bucket list, and this recipe was super easy! I used store bought pie crust because I was in a rush (single, working mom syndrome), and it tasted great! I used gala apples, and it was a tad too sweet, so I’m going to reduce the sugar when I make it again today for Thanksgiving. Is there a reason why I should use unsalted butter? I bought salted butter in bulk and used that last time, and it seemed fine. Happy Thanksgiving!
GIRLLLLL!!! Let me tell you my fam and I just made this tonight and I’m literally in shock at how amazing this was!!! Hands down one of the best tasting apple pies I’ve ever had and it was so simple to make!! ❤ Thank you so much for this recipe, I’ll never buy a pie from the store again!!! 👍🏻
I used one of those apple cutters to cut them into pieces and core them, then I used a knife to slice them into thin slices. This has saved me so much time!
I have never baked anything in my life and I decided to give this a try and OH MY GOD! I never imagined how good it was going to come out! Thank you 😂🙏🏼
I’ve got to say I never made an apple pie before, but Natasha, you are right. This came out incredible that crust was the best. I just made my second one for Christmas.
Absolutely delicious pie, made my first ever apple pie for dessert for my parents and received only positive feedbacks. So easy to make, also I used your pie crust recipe as well, it was amazing. Thanks for sharing this recipe.
This recipe was delicious and amazing! I’ve been trying to make apple pies for years and they always ended up being watery with hard apples😔. No more, with this recipient, I’ve nailed it!! Thank you, Natasha!!
Yaaas!! Absolute BEST apple pie recipe out there! I use this recipe all the time whenever I want to make an apple pie, and have gotten rave reviews every time I make it! Also the pie crust recipe is chefs kiss and I use it all the time as well👌💯
I’ve made this 4 times, and planning to make more this weekend!! Everytime I make it, it doesn’t last more than a hour 😂 it’s definitely a crowd pleaser
Update: I made two of these pies yesterday!! I made a few changes: 1. I added cranberries 2. I used Brown sugar instead of granulated. 3. I used Phillo dough for the top of the pie - should've used regular dough instead. Overall I loved it, I especially liked the filling! It was easier than I thought. Awesome recipe!!

Now who thinks Natasha deserves a Netflix series I DO
Best pie I ever tried talk about a real good pie luv the background music this was my first Natasha’s kitchen video best one ever plus ur kids are so cute 🥰 I’ve seen this about 12 times thank u
Aaaw that’s nice of you! That would be a dream come true. ☺️
I've never liked pies in general, but my kids do. I made this recipe, and it was divine. It literally changed my view on pies. Thank you for teaching it. I love the video, which made me smile a couple of times. I did 1 laced and 1 with the strudel you also teach in a different video. AWESOME. thank you ❤
You are so welcome!
Yummy 😋
Sounds awesome! Glad you enjoyed it with some of the changes that you made.
Omg I’m gonna try this!!
The best Apple pie I ever tried. My family was impressed & love it! It’s very easy to follow your recipe Natasha & delicious! Thank you God Bless you!
I made this recipe with “apple pie spice” instead of the plain cinnamon and it was DELICIOUS! I could eat the filing by itself every day. 😍
I just made this today and it was amazing, the crust was simply delicious.
I’m gonna use it for all my pies now.
Tq
That’s awesome! So nice to know that you loved the apple pie and crust. 👌
You are a LIFE SAVER! I had exactly 7 apples that needed to be used up before going bad and oh my goodness, this apple pie was so good. My mother in law asked me for the recipe and if I could make it on her anniversary, thank you so much Natasha, for sure subscribing!
You’re so welcome ❤️😊 I’m just glad that you found our recipe!
WARNING/ ADVISORY:
I made this pie this thanksgiving, it was absolutely delish! But you should make the sauce/ syrup AFTER you are done slicing the apples, or it will separate, without being able to be brought back together. Amazing recipe, although! Ill be making this for tomorrow as well! Merry Christmas and happy holidays!
That's true
I did mine before the dough and i noticed it got hard too. Just simmer it for a few min (1-3) again and it'd be back to perfect!!
Thank you! This comment helped me 🥰
I use this recipe for any major holidays including my birthday as my "birthday cake"!! I also use Natasha's pie crust recipe and it is delicious NEVER USING STORE MADE EVER AGAIN!!! love love love these recipes together!! this apple pie recipe is a favorite in my family!!
Oh my God, this pie is the best I’ve ever made and I been baking 50 years,,, the filling is the secret everyone is missing from being the best baker in your family, thank you
That’s amazing! My family loves this pie! It’s our favorite recipe.
SHE STILL HERE-
you see her eating as if she remember the days when her grandma use to cook this delicious food it brings back memories. AMEN
You are so welcome! Merry Christmas 🎄
I love how much 'Love' you put into homes all across the country!! Thank you for the inspiration!!!
i make this apple pie every year for father’s day and you have saved me so much trouble BEST PIE EVER
So glad to hear that
Hey Natasha I made this yesterday for my American husband for Father's Day meal. Thank you for helping me make Father's Day great for him
Wow thanks for the awesome feedback!
thank you SO much for this recipe! I make this for my family every thanksgiving or christmas and they always love it, I'm excited to make it again this year!
You are so welcome! Enjoy it!
Natashas Kitchen thank you so much for your positivity, I hope everyone would get a piece of that too 💕
I just want to say how amazing this recipe is!
You’re so welcome! Thank you as well for your great comments and feedback
I just made this pie tonight for Thanksgiving and my family loved it!!! I highly recommend this recipe!! Awesome!!!!!💯
Thanks for the great feedback. ❤️

Me too!!
I need your help i did the steps but the sugar and flour didnt melt (the sauce didnt melt ) how to fix that ? Please answer 😔😔
You can hardly taste the diference between salted and unsalted buttter. Just half the salt you add to the crust.
Yay that’s wonderful! Thanks so much ❤️
I have made it about 5 times I will never change recipes everyone loves it!
Same!
@@juliepurser4645 right! it will be a staple from now on in my house lol
I used one of those apple cutters to cut them into pieces and core them, then I used a knife to slice them into thin slices. This has saved me so much time!
Made this pie, twice now! Everyone loves it!

Me, though I'm wowing my bubble, no guests this year.
I hope it becomes a hit!
This recipe was delicious and amazing! I’ve been trying to make apple pies for years and they always ended up being watery with hard apples😔. No more, with this recipient, I’ve nailed it!! Thank you, Natasha!!
The apples came out soft? I hate hard apples in pie.
I made a few changes:
1. I added cranberries
2. I used Brown sugar instead of granulated.
3. I used Phillo dough for the top of the pie - should've used regular dough instead.
Overall I loved it, I especially liked the filling!
It was easier than I thought. Awesome recipe!!
It’s Thanksgiving 2024, and this is still the BEST apple pie recipe. Thank you for this!!!!❤❤❤❤
