I’m a Gen Z (born in 2000, so early Gen Z) and I honestly share a lot of traits with millennials according to that quiz. You can pry my high waisted skinny jeans off my cold, dead body. I don’t like flared jeans, chunky shoes, or TikTok at all and I suck at taking selfies😅. Also, my top 3 emojis are 😂😅😬.

This video brings me such joy! I couldn’t stop laughing whenever Sierra or Paloma moved in their shark costumes. 😊 Also I got a couples edition of We’re Not Really Strangers game, so much fun!
30:54 at my house, we spend over 100 dollars on candy. We go to the dollar store and get boxes and bags of candy and hand those out. We only started doing this a couple years ago but everybody loves it. Me and my younger sister sit outside with our big box set up and our table and play music. We get everyone from 2 year olds to people in their 30s who are always so excited. Last year we had 3 separate groups of people drive past our house and yell “ YOU GUYS ARE THE COOLEST” or some variation… and it always makes me so happy and excited to see all these people so excited. (It also makes me happy cause i get to eat all the leftover candy 🌚🌝)

as a gen z, a huge part of why we associate HP and Hogwarts with millennials is because most of gen z hates JK Rowlings guts for being a transphobe. And a lot of millennials kinda tapped out of that or ignored it cuz of nostalgia. So yeah, HP is very much a 90s kid thing and even though a lot of us read it as kids, we were more willing to say “F you” to her when she started in her transphobic BS

I was always really tall and developed early and I had people rude to me because they thought I was too old to trick or treat when I was only 10. Never went again even though Halloween has always been my favorite!

I trick or treated until I was 18 because I would walk with my cousins and siblings. If the house didn't have enough for all of us, of course I'd let my siblings and cousins go first. My mom's only rule was no revealing costumes which was understandable. I was a sloth my last year

I'm 32 born in 1990. I did a buzzfeed quiz and it said I'm a Boomer..? I'm so old.
Plus the current teens lost almost 3 years of trick or treating so I feel like as long as they come around once that night it's fine I did have a few that would try to come two or three times. 🤣
I hit puberty sooner than my friends. I was TWELVE with my twelve year old friends and I was the only one who got those comments when trick or treating. I stopped that year. I think I was planning to anyway but that made me sure.

Ok I have some questions about this whole millennial vs Gen Z debate. I have heard that Gen Z really doesn’t care, and that it’s millennials making this narrative of judgement. What is the big deal about any of the things listed on the quiz? About there being something wrong with liking a certain thing? How is it any different than being a “Pick me girl” and “I’m not like other girls”? Isn’t the fact that making someone feel bad/embarrassed about liking something and making it the cringey thing wrong? Regardless of what generation you are? 🤷🏼♀️ idk honest question just looking to have a conversation about it ❤
I think it’s a little weird if you switch to a certain emoji or switch your hair part because you think that’s what young people do vs if you actually like it. Just do whatever you actually prefer!
