Hmm, I''ve learned how to do this long ago from my mother. We just use a sewing needle or large safety pin to make the holes, move the pin around in side egg, and gently move egg around, then make one hole a bit larger than other side, and actually blow out the egg with our mouths, into a clean bowl, which can be used later with cooking or baking, and then soapy water through eggs, gently to clean out and dry. Then decorate as you please.
I used to do it that way with my mother as well. The reason I switched was so that I could avoid the hole at the top of the egg. It will definitely work though.
I haven’t tried it on quail eggs but I imagine it would be similar. Just be gentle at first until you figure out how much pressure you can use without blowing up the egg. (Trust me it can happen.)
Yes but you only need the one with the black bulb on it much easier to use then the way they where doing it I do quail egg crafts my UA-cam channel is Edgotbait
Emmaline, do you realize your voice is beyond loud like you’re screaming?

Hi will this work on quail eggs? Do you need to do anything different?
