That was great, thank you Rebecca! I took a workshop last year but we had to move so quickly it wasn't very relaxing and my egg was not exactly a work of art. Watching you work was very meditative, and I can't wait to try again.

My dad's cousins wife was Russian Orthodox and made such beautiful Pasanki eggs. Hers were very traditional and so gorgeous. She never offered me one even though she always had a basket full in her kitchen and in her family room. I so wanted one but was scared to ask for one, thinking it wasn't polite to ask. Now, after seeing how these are made, I wish she had taught me! I would have taken to this as a fish to water. She and I were both very crafty. I have no idea why she never thought to show me how? She had 3 sons, no daughters and her granddaughters were half my age or less so I certainly would have been very keen to step in and learn. Heck, I want to pick it up now all these years later after seeing this video.
