Why did you get the heating pads system for bending your boards and your pvc forming strips?
I have read that composite deck boards expand and contract lengthwise with temperature changes. Does this cause any issues with curved boards, since you measure the radius so precisely? Thanks! (I just found your channel and it's really helpful.)
What temperature were you heating the deck boards to.

i am bending up 6 boards this weekend, 2 different radius'
i used to work in a model shop and made circular wood frames
i use trammel points for drawing the radius', you may want to check them out

I think that's the same method I used when I was building precast molds. You dont need the huge work space that is being used to strike the arc the old fashion way. You just figure out the height of your radius/arc/circle you are wanting and pull the outside points and strike a line with a couple sticks that ride those outside points, right? Im assuming you are referring to the same method....? Works amazing and very accurate.

I know how to frame my radius make the pattern jig for deck boards other than your heating of the deck boards are you just using the insulation or are you using some kind of man made heat box how hot do you get them I want to do this so bad I mean I frame done barrel ceilings tons of arches too but this is cool as hell

Cool video! Im assuming you have framed up the deck, rolled out Ram board and traced the underside? Have you ever tried striking arcs with the length/height/radius method? Using 2 boards that ride along the (left and right width points/zero point on a nail) and then you join the boards in the middle at the correct height for the arc/circle and you strike a line riding the nails from left to right giving you the circle/arc you're after? Im sure that may not have made much sense. Lol
