- Framing for a bent surface boarder can be really tricky. Especially if it's low to the ground. Today the crew plucks away at the rest of the framing.

Wow man. I can't stand when people make comments that are so negative, especially to a professional such as yourself, sharing everything with the world. It's obvious that you know what you are doing, just look at all the tools and materials you use. I am a master carpenter, trained in a tech school for 3 years and working in the business 20 years, and I will tell you what, this man and crew do excellent work in a timely fashion you would expect for this level of quality. Thanks for sharing.
shoulda said "cluster f***" and bleeped it with the sound of the impact gun. Creative idea for the future. Good job guys! Love the daily pre work video. Stay safe over there
Great work bro !!! Totally agree with you , take your time ! Looking awesome 👏
"let the deck tell you, let the boards let you know"...classic!!! top job guys
Dr, I will be building a ground level deck very soon. Thanks for the tips. Cheers from down in Australia.
Nice framing and "fit in" on that low through joist. Your right on Patience but ya cut yourself short on skill. Solid work madman. Real nice.... , dealing out quality on a lower end job... Very cool. Thanks, really enjoy the channel.
7:47 Another useful tip! Using Azek scraps in a whole new way!
I really injoy your content Dr deck... your a amazing builder in my book....im also a builder myself and I. Working of build a large deck myself with drain system...
Top class !
Dear Doctor, did you decide to use ledger board after first Very Low Deck Build Update? What’s the spacing on your 4x6 beams? Really like the video work.
I was building a simple rectangle deck and was like yeah I can calculate where the framing ends to finishing the deck with a complete board, but before I was done, out came the saw and sins were committed to modify the framing.
Dr.Deck is so right, you must let the decking tell you where to end your framing not just rush ahead. There are too many variables to account for, like a 1/16 less gap between boards.
Thanks for risking your worker's health, that a boy.
Amazing job!! What is the big ‘bendy’ board that you use for the curved finish at the very end? Where can I find these boards? Many thanks - you guys are super talented 👍👍
Same question here!
Same question here, doc
How much for something like that finished?
Hello doc what material do you use for shims between beam and ground? some are scrap decking boards how about those thinner ones?
Composite shins from Home Depot and we have abundant scraps of AZEK PVC
@@drdecks thank you
I hit a couple comments. Now my wife is mad cuz I broke the laptop. Thanks drdecks!
thumbs up for the chainsaw skills
Why does your wood have all the indentations?
julie Richardt it’s called Pressure Treated Hemlock and the indentations are “incised” with a machine to force the treatment deeper into the wood
@@drdecks is that on that wood only? Don't see that here in NC
@@richardtbc Yes
Tell you what your very knowledgeable on your trade
Where is deckize
Anyone who makes a comment like that has never done any kind of construction, let alone custom.
