  • Framing for a bent surface boarder can be really tricky. Especially if it's low to the ground. Today the crew plucks away at the rest of the framing.

    Wow man. I can't stand when people make comments that are so negative, especially to a professional such as yourself, sharing everything with the world. It's obvious that you know what you are doing, just look at all the tools and materials you use. I am a master carpenter, trained in a tech school for 3 years and working in the business 20 years, and I will tell you what, this man and crew do excellent work in a timely fashion you would expect for this level of quality. Thanks for sharing.

    Nice framing and "fit in" on that low through joist. Your right on Patience but ya cut yourself short on skill. Solid work madman. Real nice.... , dealing out quality on a lower end job... Very cool. Thanks, really enjoy the channel.

    Dear Doctor, did you decide to use ledger board after first Very Low Deck Build Update? What’s the spacing on your 4x6 beams? Really like the video work.

    I was building a simple rectangle deck and was like yeah I can calculate where the framing ends to finishing the deck with a complete board, but before I was done, out came the saw and sins were committed to modify the framing.
    Dr.Deck is so right, you must let the decking tell you where to end your framing not just rush ahead. There are too many variables to account for, like a 1/16 less gap between boards.

    Amazing job!! What is the big ‘bendy’ board that you use for the curved finish at the very end? Where can I find these boards? Many thanks - you guys are super talented 👍👍

    Why does your wood have all the indentations?

    • @drdecks
      @drdecks  3 роки тому +1

      julie Richardt it’s called Pressure Treated Hemlock and the indentations are “incised” with a machine to force the treatment deeper into the wood

      @@drdecks is that on that wood only? Don't see that here in NC
